Alright, lets do it like this just to verify something. Go into your mods folder, delete everything. Now, go and copy the update section and add in the HazardHound config. Start the game and verify if it's working. Let me know the results. Either way, we'll continue from there.

Try installing this gameconfig. Should work. Install to mods-->update-->update-->common-->data

He lost a game, and got angry. Those of us that play competitive video games have gotten angry before. Hell, I still rage when playing Battlefield games. I have some mental disabilities, I do and say things spur of the moment with no control and not think about them till after the fact. Even with these factors, I have never had the thought or the urge to kill someone. However, what can be more powerful than mental illness is anger. Intense anger about anything can drive someone to do something rash, especially if they might be emotionally compromised. We don't know why he did it, we never will, but lets remember that mental illness is not always the reason people do the heinous things we see or hear about.

I figured others would find this helpful. 😛 Despise the fact that I drive a Taurus a lot in game, I've never paid too much attention to the handling of it, but I'll hop back in later and see if it's wobbly and what not for me. I use a controller, and KB/mouse could also be a factor. I'll let you know what I figure out.

What is it you're trying to install? You said LSPD mega pack, which file is this?

Hm, I think it might vary on the vehicle. The Taurus is quite a large vehicle, while the Caprice and Impala are a tad smaller. Does police3 work fine for the latter vehicles? If so, I'll just add in a small note about the Taurus probably having a better handling as police2. If possible, I'd really like to know the name of the vehicle in GTA that is supposed to be similar to the Taurus so I can try that, but I'm really not sure which that would be.

The mods folder is one you have to add in yourself. Open the the GTA main directory, right click-->new folder. Create a folder named mods all lowercase. From here, open OpenIV, and go into the vanilla update folder and find your install path for whatever mod, such as patchday19 for vehicles. Click "edit mode" at the top, and you will see a red notification box telling you this is not the mods folder, and you'll have an option of creating that path in the mods folder. That's how you create the content in the mods folder. 🙂 Let me know if you're still needing help with this.

Do you mean you have no update folder at all? If so, I think you may of had a bad install. Even though you will not be using the update folder for mods, it is still required. To clarify, in your main GTA folder, you should have an update folder AND a mods folder. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.

I'm sorry to say, but it sounds like you're doing something incorrectly. Type out the path you're taking to place the vehicles.

Honestly, it's situation based. On one hand, she's 87, she isn't going to have the swing of a 25 year old. It's not hard at all to grab her arm or hand and hold it. On the other hand, I do get it, she is armed with a weapon that could hurt you. Again, situational and should be looked at as such.

It's truly a sign of the times when you can legitimately say "It's not as bad as I thought it'd be" to a story like this.

Use patchday18 or 19, whichever is the most recent. Whenever a new patchday is added that has a vehicles.rpf, place all your replacement cars there.
