Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, Have a Merry Christmas.Technically, it's Festivus. I've had a whole lot of problems about this year, and now, you're going to hear about it!
This year, I've had many ups, and many downs. From the start of the year, despite the upcoming GCSE exams, life had felt pretty fine - I had quite possibly the best day of my life, I went to prom and lived it up, and I've got (almost) the results I've wanted. But since I've started college, and with recent events such as the Manchester bombings, Grenfell, and with personal problems such as trying not to get my disability allowances stripped unfairly, I've been feeling pretty down and out lately, and it really showed on Friday. Maybe the winter blues have finally caught up with me.
But with the end of the year coming soon, maybe next year will be a fresh, more uphill start. Sure, I'll miss school, and sure, it hurts to see what's going on around the world sometimes, but maybe, 2018 won't be so bad. And in terms of GTA modding and all, I'm planning on getting a few more mods out before the winter season is done. I would just like to share to this community, even though it sometimes seems that I don't stick around in it very often, that I feel pretty good about being here, especially now that I have learned to screenshot and publish my little fantasies in the gallery. It sort of feels like I'm putting myself out there on the internet for once, and in a good way. It's the sort of thing that makes me come back to GTA modding, even though I can't play GTA V because I broke it.
And with that, I wish you all a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

Hullian111 got a reaction from PhillBellic for a gallery image, A New ProjectOkay, it's not really a project. It's nearly finished, I've just got to get permissions issues out of the way, if possible. Also, yes, the door handles aren't cut away. I really don't want to do those - they're a right old pain.
And here, we have a New Liberty State Police Premier in the fog. I'm planning on putting this out, eventually, and maybe also putting out an Aldenrey State Police Premier, too. If only Abraxas was still around to make these types of liveries...

Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, My Way, or the SkywayAnother project about to be released! Just need to put in three more liveries, and I'm done. With thanks to Kalleboston for the crest help.
An Alderney State Police officer waits for a breakdown team to arrive on the Plumber's Skyway, where one unlucky driver broke down in the middle of the road, finding himself both unable to move and ticking off the temper of the state troopers along the Skyway. Traffic backed up along that road for quite some distance due to the breakdown, delaying the truck even more.

Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, Boy RacersMC Mental boomed into the night from a blue Sentinel XS as an 18-year-old 'boy racer' who had obviously played too much Need For Speed tries to evade the Greater Liberty Police, almost slamming straight into an Arriva bus. The Aerial Unit then had to be called out from Francis International, as well as two units from the Motorway Division, eventually managing to box in the driver along Union Drive and jail him for dangerous driving.

Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, 343It's been sixteen years since 9/11, and what a long sixteen years it has been, too. To think that the Middle East is back in turmoil after all of the 'work' that was done is disheartening.
But on September the 11th, 2001, 343 firemen, including FDNY Chief of Department Peter J. Ganci Jr., were murdered in an unspeakable, shocking act of terror that not only was confined to New York, but Washington DC, and the small town of Shanksville, PA. The world has changed a lot since then.
At 1:46PM, I will observe a two minute's silence, if possible. I do this every year, as the tragedy struck close to my heart. While the video-watching is down, and the books have not been read this year, I won't forget, and WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, Fresh from the FactoryOkay, its a bit of a divergence from the current theme, but everything has to stop. The Merit Classic by GCT is out! Prepare to see this in fleet form very soon!
Here, at the LCPD Workshops in Algonquin, multiple 1983 Declasse Merit Classics were seen parked up in the lot, ready for their police conversion. Following an evaluation upstate, the Commissioner guaranteed that this would be a huge hit with police forces across the United States.

Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, Rusting VintageAnd so, normal services are resumed.
The early eighties weren't a great time for Liberty City. Still holding onto the title of 'Worst Place in America', a title it would not let go of until the 90s, it was fairly common to see cars dumped in the streets, or wherever seemed humanly possible. On the Westdyke Beach, for example, a Vigero and an Oceanic had been dumped for little over six months, and while it may not look like it, the tide has taken its toll on both of them, especially the Vigero, and they had all been gutted for parts.
A few days later, they were set alight.

Hullian111 got a reaction from Hastings for a gallery image, Talkin' TrashBelow freezing, and working in waste disposal - two places you don't want to be in a city during the winter. But hey, it's a dirty job, and somebody's gotta do it. All to avoid bad memories of the 1981 strike during the rough 1996 winter.

Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, Power and LightLibel, Liberty City's key electricity maintenance team, have got a job to do almost every day, thanks to Liberty City's slightly-outdated power grid. It is rumoured, however, that their vans seem to always be watching certain people in the city. Some say they even travel in packs...
(the phone number has since been removed, I could not get a template)

Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, Working TrafficEvery winter, the LCPD ESU team hand out their Ranchers to almost every division in Liberty City, sending out most of their stock to traffic and highway patrol divisions. They prove very useful to tackle the treacherous road conditions, beating the Staniers and Premiers of the standard LCPD fleet. Here, at midnight, an LCPD officer sits around, awaiting activity, by the East Borough Bridge, having been granted the keys to one of the Ranchers. Half an hour later, he gets called to technically the first accident of the day on the bridge.

Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, A Serious Slip-UpEven driving a little too fast can cause a serious accident in the snow. Here, two LCPD officers narrowly escaped death when their Premier RMP slipped onto some ice, flipped, and fell over on the Broker-Dukes Expressway. While the car was totalled, the two officers were glad to have escaped with their lives, and got out of CHMC a few weeks later.
Following this accident, a road safety awareness campaign was set up in Liberty City. While it may not look like it, it is still going strong today.

Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, Let's Start a RiotA fond pastime of mine before I got into screenshotting was throwing molotovs everywhere, sending in riot vans, and smashing up cars, calling it a riot. Here, in London, a neighbourhood disturbance in the run-down Beechwood City area results in a violent conflict with the Met Police, involving some pensioner's Ingot being smashed up and burned to the ground.

Hullian111 got a reaction from ThatOneHick for a gallery image, Let It Snow...1996 may had been the roughest winter in Liberty City for years, but at least it made for some beautiful pictures. The LCPD were accredited for their hard work, alongside the DoT, for helping Liberty City run as smoothly as possible, in the face of the hundreds of accidents that were occuring. But even they, sometimes, couldn't even manage to drive without spinning out.
(Here's the link, if you're interested, for the snow mod. Be warned though, it is a big download.)
