Which is what I have, Gta IV Cannot run on Mac OSx whats so ever unless bootcamp or Virtual emulators, I Use bootcamp, and its soley PC when I go onto my new partition.

To answer your first question, No, You are not required to have Any DLC downloaded to play lcpdfr correctly, Also, To fix your problem, Run your game as administrator by going to the directory: Computer>Programfilesx86>rockstar games> Grand Theft Auto IV> GtaIV>LaunchGTAIV.exe <right click on that, run as administrator, Or at this directory: Computer>Programfilesx86>Steam>Steamapps>common>Grandtheftautoiv>GTAIV (For steam purchased copys), From your error, If This doesn't work, Try re installing via running the installer as admin, If that doesn't work im lost and some one else should be able to help you, good luck bud :thumbsup:

Try RE linking your GamerTag with RGSC, It might fix it, I too had this weird problem where I had to re link, I ignored it, Not sure if I can play online since I haven't played today.

Do you have GFWL, and a Live account linked to your Rockstar Social Club account? You need both to play mutliplayer.

Im not sure on a real Protocol for handling a certain subject such as a hobo, But I just usually stop them for loitering, Search them, if they got nothing on them, I just let them walk away, if they have something (of course) I arrest them, I cant really think of a certain way to handle them, Its mostly up to the officer dealing with the issue, good luck bud :thumbsup:

Here is what happens with the resultion, When you install LCPD FR, it detects what resolution you have (does something to where it installs the right resolution screen or something of that sort), And sets the comp screen to that resolution, Change it however, And you'll only see a part of the comp screen, Simply do this, Re install LCPDFR With the new Resolution, It should work, I had this happen when I was at like 2560by1980 or something of that sort, then I down scaled it to 1980/1280, and that happened to me, I just re installed and it worked, This might work, Or might be completely irrelevant, Idk, Just trying to help, Good luck PS: I dont think the computer was meant to go to resultions that high.

Wow, Thanks for the explanation Iconography, Im sure many Players who are experiencing this error will greatly appreciate this, I have one question however, I NEVER save vehicles at my safe house, and in fact, never save after the first Save game is made, But, During random times (and its become somewhat rare, and really isint a problem, just asking) I will be playing then I will go to desktop, and this error will be shown, Why is this? and again, its not a Common acourance, its actually some what rare for me, im just curios, Thanks again for the post :thumbsup:

Not to mention ELS v6 can make the game Unstable at times.

Ahh i see, thanks for filling in that gap for me Jay, but yeah again, i suggest that you use boot camp since you are simply partitioning the disk for a separate OS.

The cars are models/skins that are replaced via Archive viewers such as Spark IV, Sound, Are sound mods, which are usually siren or gun sounds mods, replaced again through Archive viewers such as Spark IV, Lighting, I think your referring to ELS, ELS is a script (or asi, i think its actually asi, either or.) ELS is really simple to install, and for it to work you need ELS enabled vehicles (which you get by using like i said above, things like Spark IV and installing custom ELS enabled Cop cars) As far as changing a uniform, you usually are changing the texture, again, Through Spark IV, Just simply download the texture, import, Done. Gta IV IN GENERAL, does not work on macs, At all, there are a couple of ways to get windows on your system, here are a few, either you can use programs such as Parrells or Vmware Fusion, These will create a Virtual machine on your mac, But again, Its a windows OS you'll have to install, another way to get Windows on your mac is use boot camp, Im currently using a 27 inch imac running windows 7 on boot camp, its a free program that comes with your mac, and the boot camp assistant will walk you through everything you need, And it is a legitimate OS installed, what i mean by this is, its not a VM, its a real OS running off all your current hardware, No this will not over wright over your OSX OS, it will simply create a separate disk partition for windows or any other OS to run off of (simply hold ALT, the select the hard disk to boot on, you can also select a deafualt boot partition) I Currently use this method for PC gaming and all other PC related Programs, and i really haven't had a problem since, Also, if you wondering whether there will be problems because your running windows 7 on a mac relating to programs, such as GTA, I don't see how you can, and i haven't had any either, Because again, its a true Windows os Running off a separate partition, hope this helps! let me know if you need any help, JAM.
