  8. That game was my life as a kid. I even used a steering wheel with it!
  9. Funniest part about LivePD is the simple fact that it's live and they have officers in my state. I once told my wife "Hey heads up there's an accident on the highway". Dunno just HOW live it is, but was still pretty cool to me. I have to agree with COPS kinda being predictable but for fast, no waiting time action, it's definiatley the best in my opinion. Plus I've watched that show since I was a little kid so nostalgia.
  10. Adam 12 COPS Worlds Wildest Police Chases/Videos (I even had the game lol) LivePD Alaska State Troopers
  11. With your situation, seeing as you don't have internet. One possibility is getting a Hard Drive/Flash Drive and taking it over to a place that does have internet and downloading items there and then transferring them to your desktop. $900 is stretching it for a decent laptop especially a good one. I'd do what I stated above, but that's just what I would do personally my self. This is coming from some one who owns a $2,500 laptop who can't play games at max settings, likes to get hot often, and cannot change out components whats so ever. For everything else though it works fantastic.
  12. My guess Rivalries, Modding Drama, and loss of traffic due to not enough more current mods being hosted/only older mods for games that most don't play anymore.

  18. I've never really looked at alienware since they got bought out by Dell and I've never dealt with any ASUS pre builts but ASUS makes good products so I'm sure it's a good system. In truth, there's really not a "set" standard of reqs. for LSPDFR. I would run off what the Recommended specs for GTA V stock and go by that and understand mods will inevitably make the game run slower due to the stresses that modding GTA V can bring.
  19. I was in the same boat as you for a while. Console gamer, always used Apple computers, and was heavily interested in Digital Storm. Digital Storm makes fantastic computers, however they are pricey, much like all pre builts/custom company built computers. I created a spec list and had it all priced out and once I told a friend of mine (who's done nothing but build his own systems) the price he laughed pretty hard. Did a little more research my self and what was a $5,000 computer quickly turned into a$2,500 tower if I built it my self, and this was including better specs! Most people will agree, building your self is cheaper and a better route. However I've seen nothing but great stuff from DS so if you went that route you'd still be getting a fantastic computer.
