It'll replace that car period. Like someone said with the 'load order', basically RDE is considered to be the most recent DLC you have installed so it 'overwrites' all previous models with whatever you have in those slots. You can also (I believe) configure which cars respond as which backup type in what area with whatever cop(s) inside and all that sort of thing. I've left it at whatever the defaults are.

I had heaps of problems with crashes and cars not loading correctly and just generally being jerked around when I used to use all the default folders. About six months ago I installed RDE and it's brilliant. Not just because it opens like 10 more slots for police vehicles (hwaycar1-3, police5, sheriff3, NOOSE 3-4 and some others) but it also stores it all in one folder. Takes 30 seconds to throw a new vehicle in or adjust existing ones. You can also set up your own DLC to do the same thing but RDE is just easy to use, pre-packaged sort of. I don't have any idea if it's actually changed any of the actual gameplay but if it has, I like it.

That's interesting. The call sign on the vehicle isn't used at all? In the ACT there's no call sign on the vehicles and it's based on shift and vehicle type. WA was all vehicle callsigns.

I must have rose coloured glasses - I can't see any problems with it... except I don't like where they put the grille LED's but that's where they are.

How do you do that? Cause even searching for lowr_diff_000_a_uni I only end up with the green immigration/border pants... which I've just turned navy blue haha.

It is for the non-EUP one however I don't have the lowr_diff_000_a_uni file in any of the EUP folders and I reckon I've changed every other pair of pants in all of EUP and have no luck. I'll explore more later. In the mean time, I'm updating the VICPol uniforms I put up in April and promised to update around then. I'll try get them up tonight, if not, I'm in Melbourne the rest of the week so I'll have to do it early next week.

Slightly off the topic of cars, does anyone happen to know the location of each specific set of pants in the EUP files? I just cannot find the LSPD pants and searching through the site and EUP docs has them listed in a place where they're not. -_- Also, does anyone know if you can put an accoutrement belt on the pilot models? I made the overalls that most tactical response or public order groups and the likes wear but looks pretty average without a belt.

Yeah, I mess with them all the time so probably an issue on my end then and only ever an issue when it's spawned by the AI.

Would it be a massive pain in the ass to do the roo bar model as a separate model to the standard? I have issues with the Hilux spawning with no bumper at all and if I force it to have all extras it ends up with both. o_O I'm probably missing something though.

Breaking my 69 post status to comment on this one but I'm a big fan of the VE's. Hate them as vehicles (owned one and the engine went after 100,000km even with perfect logbook servicing but they just look like cop cars. The VF's are too 'luxury' (and horrid to drive). Territory would also blow my mind. All that said, whatever is quickest and easiest for you, Mac. =P

There's a real lack of GDs cars - at the moment only the GD Falcon and the Hilux cage. The wagon is more of a Sgt/supervisor vehicle. I know most are being worked on though... but I'd totally support you bringing stuff over! 69 posts! ...and to reply to @HawksFan2102 below me... awesome, but now I can't post new stuff! This post will just end up being like a giant running sheet for all my responses from here on out!

Victoria has Mt Thomas... Perth and south west WA through me through for me. Best places ever. ACT isn't bad but lacks the action of real cities and no beach. Moving to Melbourne soon. We'll see if it's as good to live as it is to visit.

Most of them were SWM callsigns if memory serves.

They seem to be doing the rounds. Did the same thing down in Queanbeyan a few weeks ago. Massive blitz with a bunch of hwp cars with Sydney call signs and the booze/drug bus.

Shouldn't have any issues. The flash patterns in Mac's mod are set to sirensetting 69. Other vehicles use Sirensetting 1 so if it's giving you issues should just be able to change it in carvariations.

And once you disable the keys make sure to save settings to ini. Both disabling them and saving it should be under the options menu in the trainer... if you don't save then you'll have to do it every time you play.

Downloading it now... and holy shit the NBN is doing it's thang. It's alleging that the full 7.1GB is only going to take 1 hour and 20 minutes. In October it took 3 days to download Fallout 4. After day 2 I went and bought a portable hard drive, drove to a mates place 40km away, drove home and installed it from the hard drive. Also, if I get addicted to this, you're personally responsible.

I use RDE and all my vehicles, handlings etc go in the RDE vehicles dlc thing. Works a charm.
