  1. And WA. They always run in pairs in WA, always a medium and a light pumper. Livery wise probably similar to elsewhere. Didn't realise only WA did this until I moved to Canberra, gave way to a fire truck going bells and whistles and sat on the side of the road for a minute waiting for the little one... now I'm just curious why WA does it. Light tank is always immediately behind the pumper. Eg:
  2. Yeah, but then they do this just to mess with you...
  3. He's like 70 years old. He's probably just remembering the days from back when they were still hooking the power up.
  4. Excellent. I guess if it's an ongoing problem, that'd explain why we hear from @SNIT so rarely... Now why does the ACT have yellow fire trucks?
  5. I think it's working. Suddenly I'm compelled to go to Adelaide next week instead of Melbourne. Scratch that, checked the weather forecast and there's going to be a minor storm... seems like too much of an inconvenience to have to drive back to Melbourne to charge my phone every night. (it's not too late to be making these South Australia power jokes, right?)
  6. It feels like you're trying to convey something... I'm just not quite sure what.
  7. @Macgregor, is this a thing? Defenders on the divvy van? Truck looks great, too.
  8. Never seen an emergency vehicle using a car wash before... most stations/depots have a wash bay and it's done the old fashioned way...
  9. I'll like yours if you like mine back.
  10. Pretty sure Aussie Flash Patterns has nothing to do with light quality or brightness. It is only for patterns. Doesn't touch anything graphical.
  11. It's probably not all that useful for us who follow the thread quite closely and see the release posts but for newcomers, definitely.
  12. Aww. I missed the pointless images. =\ ELS seems quite good actually... but I question whether it will be released within any reasonable timeframe and holding things back seems redundant when there are plenty of ways to do lights as is. If I'm not mistaken, there's no limit on the amount of each light you can have, either... just a limit on the amount of different lights(?).
  13. To everyone worried about the update, you can just use RPH to downgrade. It's literally a huge warning message/dialogue box that pops up every time there's a new version and it takes like 6 clicks to fix...
  14. I bought one a couple months back and shared it around. I believe Moose has made a start on an ambulance version. Edit for context: re the sprinter. I missed a page of posts before replying.
  15. Was referring to the videos I linked, not in general. I would hope they use it as its intended to be used.
  16. They both may be closer than you think. 🤐
  17. Hmm, didn't turn out too bad. I see a checker snuck through down the bottom... colour is a bit off as well... Not too bad though!
  18. Let me know. Happy to try save it differently.
  19. Yeah, I couldn't find a picture of the 'think first' logo so I just wrote Police there. It was done on Paintshop Pro Photo X3 or some random name. It's Corel's Photoshop - I tried to swap over to normal photoshop but I don't like change... hah. Feel free to do whatever you want to it. I attached the PSP file which you should be able to open in photoshop. SAPol Traffic 2.pspimage
  20. I said it's not very good =P
  21. It's not very good but I whipped this up... wrong colour too, since I colour matched to the back of that one which is a bit too dark.
  22. Definitely could've been handled better though - she didn't seem too confident and sat way too far back at the lights and hesitated a few times; should've changed the siren tone over (helps at intersections - wail is designed to 'throw' further to alert drivers in front, the yelp and hi-lo tones are more designed for short range and intersections because science) and pushed in a little bit, especially with the retarded positioning of the lightbar on that van, it would've been hard to see amongst the cars, especially that one up on the kerb. Actually, maybe just a Queensland thing? This ambulance is very prudent too... Double edit: Dear god, I just heard the QAS yelp... no wonder they don't use it. I'd be embarassed to press that button.
  23. Oh cool! I was referring to actual models but I didn't realise there were skins as well. Very cool! Side note - does anyone have any experience with the Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script? I want to set up patrol zones/jurisdictions for each station. Thinking of getting rid of Police1-5 models and creating "Vespucci Police", "Vespucci Supervisor", etc. so it's a little more realistic. Each station will have their own livery (callsign) and stuff. Not sure how it works with calling backup units and things...
  24. Wouldn't know, no one has released any South Australian cars yet. >_> ...and wine is horrid. Drink real alcohol. And things in Canberra... are built with less money than things everywhere else. Our iLoad has a home made lightbar:
