I can't tell for 100%. Must try to know. I've got this solved by adding em. It also depends... Because You can have your game runnin good, without texture issues, than suddenly some script got an error, or crashes and you can have it again. It's tricky.

It's memory issue - the game has problems with managing mods and sripts. More of em runnin makes higher possibility of texture dissapearing, not appearing etc. So as I said it's memory issue, game runs out of memory even when u got enough of it on your vga card. Rockstar fucked it up, but nvm. I was trying to deal with it and I've noticed that using xliveless is less "texture buggy" than dsound. Those lines in commandline also helped me: -availablevidmem 2 (it sets the amount of physical video memory), -noprecache (disables precache of resources), -nomemrestrict (disables memory restrictions), -norestrictions (do not limit graphics settings, which allow you to set ingame settings whatever you want - careful with that), -novblank (disables waiting for vblank - it means no vertical sync).

Try downloading MSVCR100.dll Maybe that library is missing in your system and it's required to run the mod.

Hehe the "cool shoot outs" like u called it are not so frequent like the other crimes. You will get em eventually. Patience! :) Mike

I am thinking... What if, it's ELS crashing the game. I've heard that some people had problems with the v6 version of ELS. Are You using it? If yes, maybe try running the older one - v5.

I would like to see smth like VIP transport. From one police station to another. The VIP person is transported in Police Stockade car for example. And You would have to escort it. Mike

Scripthook, Scripthookdotnet, asiloaders combinations can actually be disastrous. However, this helepd me many times, so I try to encourage people to try to experiment with those files, this can really help.

I think this could be Scripthook related problem. Are you using scripthook provided by LCPDFR or ELS? Once, i was using Scripthook provided by ELS and it was very "crashable" - it was older than from LCPDFR. Il'l suggest u to try another scriptook. I would also try to use dsound instead of xliveless and see if that works.

This is really weird. Please look into the FirstResponse file, which should be located in ..."your GTA 4 folder"/scripts. I was dealing with SMPA60 today. It was car model mod problem, which was missing after starting backuped GTA on old save. If u were using any car mods before, load em or start the game on a blank save. If its car mod related problem, this should work.

Are you using any save you played gta before? Maybe on that save you got modified cars or smth. It could cause the error. Try on a blank save. If another scripthook didnt work, maybe try another asi loader also? Mike

If yo got just lcpdfr do as Break said above. If yo talkin bout ELS you should be able to turn the lights by hittin the "j" key and siren by hittin the "g" key.

Well, maybe the game treats the EFLC like a patch after 1.0.7.0 so 1.0.8.0? Ok nvm. You do not have to hold off and worry about your game! Just backup it. Copy your main game folder to another location and u can replace it in case you need it. As I said before, You can run ICE 2.0 on EFLS. Just make sure, when you download it, you replace correct files. Ice la Glace makes it very clear. Read the istructions. EDIT: 1.0.7.0/EFLC version doesnt look so nice like the 1.0.4.0 version, its still much beeter than stock tho. Mike
