  1. its about the car, i think ... you have to reduce brightness of the NAVI or so ... its makeable with openIV and win-paint ... it is somewhere in your ytd. files ... where lights and others ... there you have to try out, which is the file for this lightning issue ... open this file with paint, reduce brightness and reimport the file. If that sounds to heavy, use another car 😉
  2. ... Hi nice to see a new scripter, who trys to make LSPDFR better. May try normal duty tasks like, evidence transport, transport to jail or court, may traffic jam clearing, close an interception for emergency units, pedestrian hidden by car, or may search for a missed person with some units and heli .... may google it, i bet there are plenty of simple duty tasks for officers. THX and keep up good work.
  3. The file here has no errors?! Ive downloaded it yet and therell be a 7.z file ... which is compatible with other zip software or (WIN10 inclu. zip), so rightclick- extract folder ... than by me the files are shown in the folder and can be integrated with openIV. Try it again pls.
  4. hey, sry for the late response. youve understand almost right, i think normally a range about 250-500 meters would be realistic, but it seems theres no real ELS shadow script that works with walls and corners, so that ELS is just a radius reflection, sadly ignoring buildings, etc. For me to avoid, watching the reflections about kilometers, 75 is a good value in the city, that look not so heavy. But at least it would be nice if the shadows would react to the enviroment. Greets.
  5. hi, ELS is only for the reflection "colour" ... it will enhance the corona of the reflection !! The car coronas that generates your "light-output" are controlled by the visualsettings. These ELS setting doing a bit the "opposit" you asked for, inside the setted radius of 75 meters, the effects are balanced. greetings
  6. hey, just watched the video. that car pack is not bad, its kind of average ...(so it seems in the Vid.) ... must not mean thats ingame the same, belongs to the individual visualsettings !!!, may the one shown there was not the optimal choice. But some arguments in the rewiews are correct, so its more a WIP than a final car pack. Striking is, that the LED`s looking poor, im sry. Not only because there are LED´s build in, you have do do a trick with bigger coronas or rework the "emissives files"... but the pro`s already said it, you should give them a plate and rotators. Therefore you can get a very good lightning out of rotators. The GTA lightning concept belongs "sadly" to the size of the lightning component. The watchable emmissives are "better" the bigger the lightning parts are, as watchable on Firetruks and some Ambulances they have large sized light parts and are very bright, while you stand with and well balanced police LED car next to them and it looks like "a candle in the wind" 😉 ... so use the advances of rotators. greetings and keep up work !!!
  7. yes, sure ... radiance, etc. are "only" personal reworked visualsettings.dat files. By the next update i put my visualsettings in the download. The diference to the other files is the: misc.corona size and misc.corona intense, thats a trick to give a power boost to the emerge lights. The side effect is, that all other coronas inc. Heradlights, Buslights, Commercials, etc. may override and the whole lightning is not balanced well, while the emerges are very good, no question! With my own Visuals, i tryed to find the middle of that.

    for 1.0.6 - may the settings for the extralights in the visualsetttings.dat is a bit high. you can change them with substitue this, or better type in those values. So the busses and trucks dont have to bright "roundabout lights". car.extralight.day.emissive.on 2.00 car.extralight.night.emissive.on 1.00 ... reworked the emergency reflections: - decreased ELS Ranges - increased corona values - increased takedowns, better sight now installation: ... unzip the archive and replace the ELS file you choose with the ELS.Ini in your GTA V main folder( -or in the folder where the EMS files located, may a mod folder, i only use my main folder). May you took a backup, but you get the vanilla settings by the orginal ELS download. May important for "sheriffs" ? : in version 1.0.5, the AI and Player ELS reflection Range massively decreased to "only" 100m, or 0,1mile(?), dont know what they use, metric or us system? Thats realistic, for city patrols, so the light dont shine through 10 buildings ... i dont know, how its in the wilderness/landscape. if the effects are not ok there, change the AI and Player ELS Range in the ELS.ini "may to 250-500 ?!" actual settings: [ GENERAL ] MaxActiveVehs = 40 ElsMaxRangePl = 100 (250-500) "may be better for wilderness reflections" - its funny, at the ElS release time, the advice were: "set Els Range to 10000? 10km reflections 😉 ElsMaxRangeAi = 100 (250-500) ElsActiveOnAi = true ElsTrafCtrlOn = true (these pics are older with much higher Values, if you like it more coloured, you can change all ElS.ini setings to 3-4 (size,range,intensity ; expect of takedown lights) ... but for me its a little to much 😉

  10. ... little bad news: first it runs smooth, then i had some crashes, btw. by switching from windowed to full screen, 5 times crashed ... then ive disabled it, and the crashes gone away. pls look if you find an error. thx
    simple and useful !!! ... its about playin without a trainer, thoose can sometimes cause crashes. So i dont know which speed im driving, but now i have this info. And its quite the only info i realy need. From the TrainerV options, i used: time, carspawning and repair/heal. I run the game now with: repair and wash, police Loadout, time tool ... can live without car spawning, get a new one at every PD , lesser crashes till then "may" caused by trainer ??
  11. hey, new callout packs are welcome. youll get some critic, but thats normal 😉 ... may try focus on car accidents a bit, there a mostly buggy stuff. i dont know why, perhaps its difficult to script it?! but may think easy two cars are crashed, one driver is drunken, drugged, was on phone, etc. ... or may nothing special, a simple crash, one of the drivers was out of attention ... 10-4. Greetings.
    Its the best Police4 replace i know ! Im a lightning freak and did some changes on your blue build, it was nice before, now i think the emissives are little increased. If you want i can sent you the modified emissive files or the .ytd ... pls dont misunderstood, i dont want to criticice your good work 😉 settings here are: day 11500, night 1150
  12. Hey, this mod is cool. Your future plan with implemented court is a good idea. Are there 2 court systems then, LSPDFR+ and your Mod, or it is compatible/implemented or something? Greets.
  13. i dont know if its really brighter but it seems brighter by your corona settings, i had to reduce my visuals 100 night and 1000 day, it was a little bleeding after your setttings, before not. thats my impression. but i have reworked my emissive files + this settings, are more powerful for me.
    Yes, good settings. Increasing emissives about 10-15% that sounds not much but it is 🙂 one little Tip is: May set your Takedown`s Range to 3.0 than you get a real strong searchlight.
  14. hey all scripters ... the most scripts are mixed callouts, some good some not. why isnt anybody concentrating of making callout packs for even one crime type: for example there are no god car accident callouts. in the duty of a police officer its a well often situation. may try a callout pack, only with several accidents on different or/and random locations and circumstances with a little or more investigation. but try to do it simple and perfect at start, use all the capabilities the game, ai and lspdfr giving you. then think about the next ... do the same with domestics, homicides, helpless persons, robberies, home search warrants and many more. google some crime statistics and look whats possible to make. and may its good to get a system of these callouts, which could easy reworked/added with new ideas. growing on a platform of each crime structure. i cant write scripts and may the possibilities are not given yet, or im a little naive, but many scripters ask what they should write ... greets
  15. Hi, did you use the right folder (not x64e) ? i´m playing LCPDFR without a mod folder. At my installation it´s at: GTAV - update - dlcpacks - patchday1 - dlc.rpf - x64 - levels - gta5 - vehicles.rpf - (than replace the surge.ytd file) ... if you play with a mod folder, you have to choose the right path after GtaV - mods ... dlcpacks ... patchday1 ... or you had another replace on that car slot and may change the vehicles.meta or vehicle.mods ,before ?? Than copy the only surge part of the original .meta in your mods/game .meta Otherwise you have to install fresh GTA and it should be working. Write me further if you have succes or no, to find the problem. Greetings.

    Vanilla Surge light fix for high Visual settings. It was bleeding at my game, may you have same problem ?! Install: openIV -update - x64 - dlcpacks - patchday1ng - surge.ytd - replace surge lights from download and save. Lights are not perfect, doing a 1.01 version by time. But now the bleeding is away. 2.0 is 2.1 forgot to change version name, sry
