So, did a clean reinstall of my GTA recently, tested it with my main mods (and no ENB this time, just the radiant mod) and everything worked fine until this evening. I quickly either get a LCPDFR crash that doesnt crash my game itself, just LCPDFR with a bunch of text saying i should restart the game. Most logs seem fine, but the logs i'm providing are the ones that containt the error somewhere, i hope. So if anybody is willing to take a look, that would be really awesome. And yes, i have looked through similar topics, but i find it very hard to pinpoint the real errors in, for example, the LCPDFR log on my own system, let alone compare it with others.

If i remember correctly, vpcallouts uses a different key to go on duty. Default is LeftAlt + Delete i believe, text will then appear on the top of your screen asking if you want to go on duty (y/n).

But if we are all having the SAME problem, it's much easier for the user and the admin to have the same error grouped in 1 topic, other then having 13 topics about the same issue i guess. That's why i rather follow this topic in the hope that FlipFlup gets help that concerns all of us. But thanks, will try to Preload all the models, if that doesn't work i'll create a new topic.

Change =true to =false?

No means to hijack your thread, but i'm having the same error message since 1.0c in the top left corner saying LCPDFR has crashed. So before creating a new thread i hope someone can help you/us out with this.

Thanks a bunch for your reply, unfortunitely the only thing it seems to do is change the 'environment' lighting from simple flashes to a halo pattern, but the light on the bike itself is still not bright at all. I think i didnt make it quite clear what i meant. Here is a video of the same bike but with a good blue light on the back of the bike, instead of the messed up one like mine: EDIT: Okay, my bad i guess. This problem has nothing to do with ELS8 i think, but more with just the 'brightness/bloom' of the police lights themselves. Still no idea how to fix it or what the search terms are for this fix, so any help is appreciated!

Dont really know how to explain this, but i downloaded a police bike that has a single blue light on the back. Unfortunitely, the light itself is messed up in game. Goddamn it yes, before using your .ini file i tried to use the non-els version just in the case the downloads were mixed up, totally forgot to switch them back. Its working all fine now, thanks alot!

Seriously, thanks for taking a look at my problem. Unfortunitely (i'm no hero at this modding scene) i copied&pasted your file and i do get ELS settings in the car now. But the lights wont come up of the car itself, only the environmental lights. And also i only press 'J' once instead of 3 times to get the lights working, don't know if thats supposed to be. Yep, took a look at it and changed as much as possible that was stating the obvious, but still no response. The vehicle itself acts like it doesn't support ELS, 'G' still pops on the siren without lights. I'm just going to post the default and my modified ELS setting, and really hope someone can take a quick look at it. Default .ini: ELS8 modified .ini: Don't care about lighting positions or anything, just want to get ELS to work on this vehicle in the first place. Probably missing something, but i'm really frustrated cause the little time i have available to game i spent trying to mod/fix things, so really hope someone can take a look at it with me.

Heya folks, Don't mind using ELS6/7 cars for my ELS8 as long as the lights and all that works fine, but there is this beauty: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> That uses a custom ELS file, and therefore does nothing other then act like a default siren (but with ELS installed, lights and such dont work) Is there anybody with experience that can take a quick look at it and see if its convertible? Don't need ELS8 features, just trying to get the lights and such to work with ELS8. Any help is appreciated!

I'v read the readme included. Twice if i'm not mistaken. But i understand that some calls are rare, but don't you think they might be a bit too rare? Like i said, i've pumped more then 40 hours with Callouts+, and not single time did i get a stolen police cruiser or one of the other callouts. I'm not saying the mod is broken, because it works like a charm with LCPDFR and doesn't interfere with any other mod, but i just think that the chance of a rare callout might be a bit low. If there is any chance of manualy being able to change the amout of calls, i think it would suit people a bit better (maybe an idea for a future update or something)

Only Wouterscallout. And with that one there is not a single problem and i had all the callouts multiple times. But with Callouts+ i only get the 2 callouts. EDIT: And for the rest just the general mods that everybody uses i guess (ENB, trafficflow, VdHpolicehelper, ALPR, TowService, speedcontrol in my case)

Define 'European-look'? ;) In the USA they use cars that most europeans have and will never see in their life. And the car's are also used for different purposes. Our law enforcement in Europe is mostly a big helpdesk for the general population, and then they focus on crime. In the USA with the zero-tolerance policies and such, i'm pretty sure they only focus on crime. (as it should be) And yes, this tahoe is just butt-ugly in my eyes.
