Gaijin is a russian studio, what can you expect? Russian animation/cinamatography is amazing. I've seen some of the old soviet movies, they were amazing for the time they were created in.

What the hell are you on about? There is no need to install 1.0.7.0 to run the game. Have you tried running the game in administrator mode? Oh and also, can you please take a screenshot of your installation directory for me?

Does this happen when you close your game? This has happened to me several times, just ignore it, nothing big and it affects nothing for me (when I shutdown the game)

Both are not really stable. GTA IV isn't made for mods, so the game is sure to crash. I haven't known of one single session in MP that hasn't crashed after a while of gameplay. I'd advice you to use the newest one. (1.0)

So, I know of a small bug that the auto-installer creates, and that is a "LCPD First Response" folder. You're supposed to take out all the files from there out in the root folder. The files aren't supposed to be like: "root/LCPD First Response/scripts" instead just "root/scripts/" Please tell me if this fixes it for you, if not I'd advice you to try the manual install. It isn't hard at all! Oh and also, I'm not sure if you know that you have to press ALT + P to load up LCPDFR in game.

Don't think that they really care about that I've seen tons of lobbies for trainers etc, and besides, I don't think Rockstar really moderates GTA IV online anymore.

Not really, since modders can do it if they wanted to, and as cp702 said, if they needed any specific API features, they could request them and the developers of LCPDFR could look into creating them.

It's ALT + P, just for the record I've noticed a small strange bug that the automatic installer did to me It put all the files into a folder called "LCPD First Response", you have to make sure that those files are in the root folder, and not in LCPD First Response folder So for example if before it was root/LCPD First Response/lcpdfr, they should be root/lcpdfr now. Let me know if I helped you. ;) Here is an example from my folder

Do you have any other modifications installed? Is your game the latest version? Do you have a legal copy? Is it GTA IV or EFLC?

There is nothing we can do if there are no error message that pops up, however I might have some tips (no idea if this works) Both you and your buddy can try to re-install GTA IV completely and see if that helps, I doubt it tbh but yeah.. Do you have the game updated to the latest version? But, GTA IV multiplayer is known to be unstable even with vanilla LCPDFR only aswelll, me and my buddy tried this once, we managed to get around 1 hour of gameplay and then it crashed, we even had some mods installed. Let me know if this helps you :)
