Bump... I sent a ticket to Rockstar, woke up this morning and no reply, which is what I was expecting..

Hello, so I recently had to reinstall my GTA V, due to x64 files going missing, and game having another error, and I really want to get back into the game, and play LSPDFR, etc etc, as haven't done since the end of November. I downloaded the installer last night so, all I have in my Grand Theft Auto V folder is, Readme Folder GTAVLauncher PlayGTAV Version.txt. When I launch the launcher, it will come up and log me in, and it will load... load, then it will say "Unable to access the Rockstar Servers, Activation of GTAV Requires an internet connection" Its funny, as it always displays the message when the concept art pictures on the launcher, when it shows Amanda De Santa it will show the message. Always. So I have tried, looking into my firewall, disabling, Norton disabling, Verifying, Resetting Winsock network on Command Prompt, Setting date back 2 weeks, Deleting the Social Club folder, Re downloading the launcher, changing DNS to my original ISP ones. And tried 1 or 2 other fixes, including making a new admin account with just roman letters in it, (which fixed it the first time I got the game way back in September of 2015 but this time it didn't work) But I just cant get the thing to work start downloading this 60GB of data, before I can play. I am noticing a few Unable to get file version for the GTAV exe, but I am not really sure what it means, I am pretty sure its an error with Social Club, I also apologise if I am supposed to do screenshots instead than copying the text into the thread. Anyways, thank you in advance. I do want to say though, that this problem has been around since launch day, and Rockstar STILL haven't fixed it, or at least not for me anyway. I don't know if they will ever fix it, I shouldn't have to be trying to get other people of the community to spend their time helping a player in trying to fix an issue. If no one else has any suggestions then that might indeed be the only option left... Very frustrating indeed, but its mostly my fault.

Online mode it will skip the verification and just try to launch leading to my usual, Rockstar Game services are unavailable error, Offline (unplugging my Ethernet cable) It will skip verification again after doing the command line prompt, and will try to launch only this time the launcher disappears and it will appear to load something (windows spinner) but come back with the exited unexpectedly error, not sure why its not verifying...

Got the non steam version, and yes I am indeed aware, that its piracy which is why I am trying to find a legit place, like if Rockstar themselves uploaded them, but when you say verify, I have done it before but I will try again, Using Commandline or is there a certain why I should do this?

Hello, I have got quite bad problems here, I recently managed to finally get GTA to stop giving the "Rockstar Game Services are unavailable" or "Unable to Access the Rockstar Services" I can now finally go offline like I used to by unplugging my Ethernet cable, but anyway, that's going off the point, I now cant play Offline either because when GTA launcher is loading, it will just skip and say, "GTA V Exited Unexpectedly" I cant launch it on safe mode, either, But I was struggling to understand why this error was coming up when GTA never even launched in the first place. Unless it does it and in a millisecond it has an error, BUT I found out why, Or I think I know why its doing it, In the Grand Theft Auto V main dictionary, you have your x64 Rpf files, A to W, well, I am missing A, E, I, V, and W. I managed to re download A from somewhere, but I cant find the rest, and I am pretty sure these are crack ones. But I cant find anywhere to get these files, and no I didn't back them up, as I wasn't expecting them to suddenly disappear like this (which isn't an excuse, I know) I think it was my CC cleaner that did it, when I cleaned my registry. But the thing is, I did that yesterday, and today the game nearly launched, but I forgot, to update Script hook V which was causing the game not to launch, since I updated it got this error, so I don't really know what caused the Rpf files to disappear, and why those in particular (Although I do know I had vehicle, and visual mods on them). If anyone has any suggestions of how to get the files back, as I am pretty sure this is why its not launching, I am trying to avoid re installing as that means waiting 2 days and 16 hours of downloading 60GB at 260K/Bs... Poor I know.. Thank you in advance. I really do miss playing, and especially LSPDFR, with all the recent mods that came out over the holidays. Columbo

Hello everybody, Columbo here. I have just recently updated to Ragehook 0.28, so I can download the updated mods for LSPDFR. I updated from 0.26. But I have a bad problem.. Idk what it is, at first it was funny, but now its quite strange and frustrating. When its finished loading the plugins, and game, It will switch to my last character. But the world is gltiching uncontrollably. Its like an earthquake is happening, people being thrown around, cars being thrown around and exploding, and the time is going at a very fast rate. Its hard to explain, but I was Franklin in his Vinewood hills house and I was bouncing up and down, and all the movable furniture going crazy. I can barley move. Switching to the map your player icon is flashing very fast, and moving around the map, it locks me to the corner if I move up to a certain point. I tested the game without Rage hook, but just launching GTA 5 on its own and it worked fine. No problems at all. I should state, I kept the old plugins folder from 0.26 as it had all my mods in it, and I didn't really want to re download them all. Everything else I replaced from 0.26 to 0.28. I am not sure what to do, or even if this problem has happened before, but it is very strange and I cant play as the world seems to be having an earthquake that cant be stopped. I've tried to upload a video I took, but even with it being 2 seconds this forum says I can only upload up to 39 mb, when its only like 10. Anyway, I hope the way I explained it is helpful. Yeah, i was stating my suggestions on the matter, and ill be very happy if somone did indeed take on this concept for players who do like that kind of stuff, and thats how they find LSPDFR fun, people enjoy it in different ways. I appreciate your feedback!

Hello all! Columbo here. I am just posting suggestions of things you can do in the station, I write reports down in a notebook on my desk while playing, (ridiculous I know xD) But its what immerses me, so I thought, well ill bring my officer back to the downtown LS station, then write the reports. So to make it look good in game, I went to the front desk at the station, and went into stealth mode, and switched to 1st person, as the head was lower down, it looked like my officer was sitting in front of the PCs on the desk, so I wrote my reports in my note book, because I'm such a nerd on this mod xD. And thought, hey wouldn't it be cool to actually do it in game? For the ones who want to of course. It would be fantastic, to sit at the PC and it gives you a prompt to use it, (like with the regular PC in GTA that takes you to the internet) It can be like the computer in the cruiser, and it takes you though a step by step, create a report on a crime. Of course only if the player wanted to. This then lead me to other things, doing desk duty, going to a certain place at the desk, it prompts you to hit a key, and boom your on desk duty, and people come in to give statements on crimes, or ask for help. And you choose the responses. Then simple things, making coffee from the machine, using printers, whiteboard, all of these can just be animation actions, like the drinking coffee action, it can add to great RP. I don't know if any of this is possible but wanted to put it out there, I know the 0.3 look at the downtown station looks very promising in their preview. But I think these ideas are great for people wanting a causal gameplay experience after being out on the field. Ill see what you guys think, sorry if this has been brought up, but this is my first topic, and haven't looked around all the areas of the forum yet. Thank you! For a great mod!
