Hey all, been away for quite some time, blame Fallout 4 :). Was itching to have another go as love this mod! I didn't get many responses when I originally posted so didn't think anyone was using Voice Attack for this. I planned on fully testing my profile and adding to it, but I've attached my original VAP profile and the html (for easy reference). Not sure why you had issues with your profile, though maybe this will help you (if you're still playing this). You'll just need to change the keybinds to match yours. One thing I will say though is that sometimes the menu system can be a bit hit-and-miss as the keybind sequence can stutter leading to incorrect selections. For the most part however, it works fine, particularly any commands that are simple key presses and no menus. FYI you can download a trial version of Voice Attack, which I think allows up to 10 commands, though tbh for $10 it was worth it since you can easily use it on any game. It's entirely possible. I may not have even looked at my weapon wheel when I first spawned. Is that something coded into vanilla GTA or still something added by LCPDFR? Because if it is coded in, it would be cool to just add those suggested loadouts to vehicle types instead. Especially tear gas for SWAT vans :)

I actually thought that some of this was already implemented because I spawned with a carbine assault rifle (think was IAA). I think it would be a good idea too. Was just about to post about whether tear gas can be added to SWAT loadout and found this when searching forum. I also found out that if you get in the police heli, which is on the roof of the LS police station with the jail (in vanilla LCPDFR), you can get a sniper rifle :)

Haha! I only just started LCPDFR last weekend too. I set up a voice command to call every type of backup available for situations like those. Doesn't always quite work so well though. Not sure if it's general lag or what. Once just asked for air support whilst chasing a GTA suspect and ended up calling too NOOSE attack helicopters by mistake :D. Well, they didn't get away at least. Btw, I only found out by accident since it's not visible, but there is actually a usable fire extinguisher in your "specials" weapon select e.g where RPG etc. is. I hope they add in tear gas for SWAT as that would come in handy as well for non-lethal showdowns.

Sorry for late reply. I'm not a Youtuber myself, will look into making a video maybe. Anyone else is free to give this a go. I can upload the full current VA profile, though unless you purchase Voice Attack, think it only gives you up to 25 commands. The dev does recommend trying out the trial first to make sure it works on your machine, though it's only $10 for the full anyway :). If you want, I can try and strip it down to a basic profile so you can test it on the trial. I've spent some time playing around with the commands to find the right balance, though to be honest, when it comes to the interaction menus and multiple list selections it is a bit hit and miss. Where on Elite Dangerous I only need a 0.03sec pause for basic menu up/down/left/right etc., on GTA it seems to lag a lot more. Maybe there's someone who knows this sort of thing a bit better than me can work out an optimum setting. Where the Voice Attack does shine though is multiple key presses and combo key presses (e.g. using LCTRL or LSHIFT + a key). I'd imagine this kinda program would be ideal for gamepad players, especially if you hook your PC up to your TV and have wireless headset as you won't need to have access to so many keys since you can issue voice commands instead. Other than making it easier to issue commands, you can also simply add more immersion. For example, whilst you can just press "E" to arrest a suspect or get them to stop / put hands up etc, it's cooler to simply say "Police, freeze!" (or whatever you want). Similarly, shouting "officer down" and "shots fired" to call up additional backup / SWAT teams is pretty cool too :) To explain how it basically works and how I learnt the best way to set it up from the Elite profile I bought, you define your commands and their keybinds first, then you create voice commands around them. This makes it easy for anyone with different key bind settings to change the basics without having to edit all the voice commands. I've just now downloaded additional mods for LCPDFR so have incorporated them into the profile as well. So far, I've covered: - Basic GTA V vanilla commands - LCPDFR Main Commands - Traffic Policer - Arrest Manager - Police Radio - Vehicle Search - Breathalyzer - Spotlight - Callouts V I should probably add I don't actually work for the dev who made Voice Attack lol. I know the internet is full of marketing spam. Maybe I should contact him and ask for commission ;) I just checked and it's actually only $8, not $10. Hey! I just found this mod yesterday and have playing it non-stop so far. Really enjoying it. One thing I found really tough with GTA on PC compared to console is the amount of extra keys, especially for the phone menu. I got this program called Voice Attack, mainly for Elite: Dangerous, which enables you to talk to your ship and give it commands. Anyway, since I paid just under $10 for it and not often on Elite, I thought I'd try it out on other games that are command heavy. Something like this mod is perfect as there are a lot of different menus and it's difficult to flawlessly execute commands whilst still running/driving etc. I was wondering if anyone has used it for this mod as today I spent a good few hours making a profile for it. I'm no expert on how to set them up, I mostly got to grips with it customizing the Elite one I bought with a sound pack and saw how that guy set things up. There are times with lag where it can be difficult for long-winded commands to execute properly, but after some practice today, I've found something that's workable at least. If anyone uses this program, I'm more than happy to post the VA profile if you want to use it or edit it for your own purposes. If that's allowed of course. I did search the forum, but there didn't seem to be any topics on this. The cool thing about this program, is you can write loads of different phrases all to execute the same command. So I can call for backup (all types), use the full interaction menu (including saying hello / thanks etc.), and respond to callouts without lifting a finger. Of course, you may have to tweak some of the keybinds to suit yours, but that's pretty easy to do.
