  1. Make a backup before doing this as well. You need to go into the OpenIV program and open up the update.rpf in \GTA V\update\ then in that update.rpf go into \common\data\ then drag the visualsettings.dat onto your desktop or wherever you prefer and open it with Notepad (Or Notepad++ if you have it) because OpenIV doesn't let you edit it natively as far as I know, then search for and change the aforementioned values, then enable Edit Mode in OpenIV and drag the visualsettings.dat back into the update.rpf
  2. You may want to list how you fixed your Police Radio issue in case somebody else comes across this with the same thing, but they see no solution for how you fixed it. The turn indicators being on was likely intended by default with the mod, to turn them off you'll likely need to go into your visualsettings.dat from update.rpf\common\data\ and open it in Notepad/Notepad++, then change the following: Change car.indicator.day.emissive.on to 10.00 Change car.indicator.night.emissive.on to 10.00 Change car.indicator.day.emissive.off to 0.003 Change car.indicator.night.emissive.off to 0.003
  3. This already exists actually.
  4. I'm actually not familiar with that line, I'll have to test that one out right now. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Edit: Sadly, entering <extraIncludes>EXTRA_1 EXTRA_2</extraIncludes> had no effect what so ever. But I'll let you know if I find an alternative or the proper way to use it if that's the case, as it may require enabling a flag that I don't know the name of for it to operate.
  5. I believe what's happening here is that the <requiredExtras> line actually only picks 1 of the 2 at random, it won't spawn both at the same time (And this is likely why this was intended for use on the dual lightbar models), there's a line for it to add every extra, but that would cause you to have 2 push bars at once. So unless there's a line that I don't know of (And there very well could be), you'll have to choose one or the other. Sorry, hopefully someone else can chime in on this and help you out.
  6. Go into the vehicles.meta and add/edit the following on the CVPI's entry. <flags>FLAG_HAS_LIVERY FLAG_EXTRAS_REQUIRE FLAG_EXTRAS_STRONG FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT FLAG_EMERGENCY_SERVICE FLAG_NO_RESPRAY FLAG_DONT_SPAWN_IN_CARGEN FLAG_REPORT_CRIME_IF_STANDING_ON</flags> <type>VEHICLE_TYPE_CAR</type> <plateType>VPT_FRONT_AND_BACK_PLATES</plateType> <dashboardType>VDT_GENTAXI</dashboardType> <vehicleClass>VC_EMERGENCY</vehicleClass> <wheelType>VWT_MUSCLE</wheelType> <trailers /> <additionalTrailers /> <drivers> <Item> <driverName>S_M_Y_Cop_01</driverName> <npcName /> </Item> </drivers> <extraIncludes /> <doorsWithCollisionWhenClosed /> <driveableDoors /> <bumpersNeedToCollideWithMap value="false" /> <needsRopeTexture value="false" /> <requiredExtras>EXTRA_1 EXTRA_2</requiredExtras> <rewards> Note that this was originally intended for F5544's Dual Lightbar models, so you'll likely need to change it to only EXTRA_1 or 2 depending on which it is.
  7. Looks amazing as usual, I'm actually glad you went with the Suburban over the Tahoe as I'm not a fan of the Tahoe's model.
  8. I believe HeroCop added the flashlight to the loadout in its latest update (I THINK), so if you're using that it may be why.
  9. Welp, we're doomed. 0.3 slated for Q3 2017.
  10. Scripthook V is very simple to use and an essential if you want to use .asi scripts, just drag the dinput8.dll & ScripthookV.dll into your GTA V root directory (The NativeTrainer.asi is optional, I recommend the use of Simple Native Trainer if you don't have one yet) and you're good to go, just install Police Radio like normal after that. If you ever need to use a .NET script you'll need ScriptHook V .NET on top of that.
  11. Do you have your PostFX setting above normal in the options menu? It won't do much otherwise.
  12. I actually used to have this issue, It turns out I had 2 police.ytds installed on accident, one in patchday3ng and another in x64e.rpf, after removing the one in x64e it was fine. Perhaps try looking for duplicate versions of vehicles you've installed. Of course I'm sure this bug has about 6,000 variations, but hopefully this helps.
  13. I hope we aren't talking in Valve time here. Soon™
  14. I've never seen or had an issue like this with any cars before, but my lightbar is acting very weird as seen in this video: https://youtu.be/HLhuzL24y5I This occurs regardless of where it's installed, I tried patchday3 as I usually do, patchday4, and x64e, all the same. This is on version 1.6.
  15. I can't wait for a release of these skins, they'll look perfect with Olanov's Revised Deputies.
  16. This post is from JULY, this was solved ages ago. Look before you post.
  17. Yeah It's normal, I used a different SS for that reason alone.
As many others have already said, it's very nice at first glance, but it's plagued by a bunch of small issues, including but not limited to some lights not working properly, not being able to go over curbs very well at low speeds (and if you go over it faster you'll be airborne in no time), the car doors don't really physically exist and they have no sound at all, and it's very unenjoyable in 1st person as the placement of your hands will not match with the car's steering wheel It's a nice model to look at, but sadly that's almost it, it's just nice to look at.
  18. Sorry, to be clear everything works fine except for that file, as I said for that demonstration video I ONLY installed the "Fire Truck Horn", the wail/other sirens work just fine.
  19. That's interesting, I'm sure it's just me missing something but even in-game nothing seems to be modified by it, same horn, same sirens, just like the defaults. This is with only that specific file and nothing else modified: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUzZaYJSkKM I must be deaf because I have no clue what has changed. I'm going to look back at this later and realize how stupid I was probably.
  20. Is the Fire Truck Horn (0x14BFBCE3) supposed to work or is it just a dummy file to reduce the vehicles.awc file size? Because no matter what it's changed to it has no effect for me.
