So you are saying that it brings you back to when Niko gets off the ship? Are you trying to go on duty right at the beginning? If you are, make sure you finish the very first mission first. So take roman to the apartment and then save it. after that you may go on duty. Don't just start the game and press alt+P right away. finish the intro mission.

Agree. Something similar to what Mafia and Mafia2 had. Player & cop interactions. One thing I want R* to improve is the way the A.I. drive and react to gunfire. When I'm trying to make my YouTube commentary videos, It gets me mad seen the A.I. do some of the most idiotic things at an intersection. Backing up and causing accidents and fights,running over crossing pedestrians, bumping into me during a red light and getting out to fight me. Then during a firefight in the streets, they ditch their car and run into my line of fire and take cover next to the guy im trying to shoot. I don't care about anything else, I know R* won't disappoint when it comes to a release, but all I want is the AI to be tweaked or done something about it.

Interesting. Thanks a lot Cj24 for the clear explanation. I was curious to know since I don't know anything about Zmodeler. Since I've seen CHP models being released with steady burns and W/ flashing lights, I thought people where coming up with unique ways to map all the ELS lights to the car. You are right about the secondary flashing yellow even if its blue. I didn't think that one through hard enough before posting. What about switching blue to primary and red to Secondary? Red with yellow reflection shouldn't be that bad. I have my ELS flash intensity and range to low numbers so during daytime its barely visible and during nightime, It'll show on the ground. Again,the yellow reflection doesn't bother me at all. Sorry Olanov. My thread was being buried under a bunch of new threads and replies to old one that I felt like no one saw this thread. I also saw that it had 0 views, after I double posted it suddenly jumped to 48, It might have been a site issue.

I've seen lets play's of it already on Youtube and I like what I see. I remember playing the hell out of True Crimes:Streets of LA and True Crimes:New York City. I might go out and buy this game tomorrow and give it a go. I heard of True Crimes: Hong kong but never realized Sleeping Dogs was actually the game True Crimes game but with a different published title.

Just curious. Are there any FHP (Florida Highway Patrol) cars that have the lightbar mapped out to have one color for Primary and Secondary ELS only?? I might have confused you there, here is an example... If I want to only have all red, I could enable my primary lights and only the red lights will light up. or if I want only blue lights, I press the secondary key and all blue lights light up. Or if I want the whole lightbar to light up like a Christmas tree I press both primary and secondary lights and all lights light up. Is this possible to do??. and also, If possible, can the Traffic Advisory lights be mapped out to both primary and secondary lights?? so for example primary will have all the red lights as well as the amber lights lit up and vice versa with the blue lights as well. I was watching some FHP videos and saw that a lot of FHP trooper choose red during daytime and blue during nightime. others stick with the color combination at all times. I was thinking it might be interesting setup for GTAIV since I haven't seen a setup for a Javelin like it before. If there is a model like it, I would like a link please. There are models out there like Cj24 and Yakadafi's but they all have the same light setup and they are not split by colors and activated separately. I'm not skilled at all in Modeling cars and mapping out ELS, so I have no Idea whats possible and whats not. Also to stir up a friendly conversation, What are your thoughts on a Lightbar setup like FHP? Example at what I'm Trying to explain Sorry for double post but It's nearly 24hrs and I still have not received an answer to my question. I hate double posting.. Are there any vehicles with a Code 3 Javelin with a setup like I've mentioned above? If not, Is it possible that a vehicle's ELS lightbar could be mapped out with red for primary and blue for secondary, and/or adding in Amber lights to both primary and seconday?

Use bxbugs123 viasualsettings found in his Radiance mod with Icehancer. Thats what I did when I used Icehancer. You also can edit the light brightness but forgot where it is located in visualsettings.dat. Issue is when you increase the valuable, the taxi roof thing get bright too.

Congrats Sam and everyone at G17! Best community, staff, modelers, content and site. Would love to see this mod grow even bigger than it is already, and expand to next gen GTA games. who knows. Maybe some day some game publisher would love to have this mod as a standalone game sometime in the future. beating True Crimes, SWAT, 911FR/Emergency4, etc. Again great job Sam and everyone else involved.

Great model Cj24. Can you make a US version of the car with US plates and a bit of lights in the rear, at least some hideaways or something?? . I love using the car in my lcpdfr series videos but it doesn't look right without lights in the back. just a suggestion. love the model either way.

Does the back of the shirt says "STAPLES"?? It looks like the Staple store logo lol -
@Kubeanie for the 2500 model by Chasez you must use the utility one (the one with pipes and ladders on top), not the civilian version. The civil version doesnt have template support. I forgot to mention that. Each skin is labeled with the name the skin belongs to. so use the 3500 and place it where it says Savana_skin_1 or whatever the texture file is called on the WTD. for the box truck. make sure you install it on the 2100 size slot, not the 256 size. When you download the truck and open it, the slot that has a pepsi,public storage, etc all in one, you replace that with the uhaul skin truck texture. then place the 256_transparent texture on the slots that have graffiti. @ Everyone Else, Thanks a lot. Here's the thing. G17 could release an update right now if they wanted to just to make everyone happy , but in about 12hrs or even less everyone is going to spam the forums with threads complaining about bugs, crashes, errors, how to fix this, how to get that, so on so on. So to prevent the forum complaining and whining, they are trying to eliminate as much bugs as possible, making the script as stable as possible and fun to play with. So waiting is worth it. It doesn't matter if it takes 1 more month, released at Christmas or next year. When it does get released you wont be disappointed. Also St.Kizza posted a link to a thread that shows some of Rc3 new features. check that out for now. I'm waiting just as everyone else but patience is the key. just my 0.02 cents on this.

no im not doing the callouts or world events. I am doing pursuits where I pull up behind a vehicle and press the shift button until they run. So I would pull up behind a car press shift, if he pulls over I cancel it and wait a bit and do it again. I keep doing that until they run. Then when they make it down the block, a handful of cops out of nowhere come and start going ape shit and drive into walls,cars,me, barricades, polls, etc. lol . I want them completely gone without effecting my traffic density.

Is there a mod that removes cops from the singleplayer game?? The reason why I'm asking is because I am playing lcpdfr and also trying to film a long pursuit video for my youtube channel. While filming there are like 20 cops spawning without me calling backup and they keep f**kn everything up to the point where I raged and gave up. It really just frustrates me because they keep crashing into me and driving so retarded. I want to disable the cops completely so its only me in game and only have them spawn when I call for backup using the F# buttons or alt+B then they can come and help out when needed. If there is a mod that can do this, can someone point me to it?
