11john11 reacted to Hullian111 for a gallery image, Working TrafficEvery winter, the LCPD ESU team hand out their Ranchers to almost every division in Liberty City, sending out most of their stock to traffic and highway patrol divisions. They prove very useful to tackle the treacherous road conditions, beating the Staniers and Premiers of the standard LCPD fleet. Here, at midnight, an LCPD officer sits around, awaiting activity, by the East Borough Bridge, having been granted the keys to one of the Ranchers. Half an hour later, he gets called to technically the first accident of the day on the bridge.

11john11 reacted to Jedahdiah for a gallery image, Only you can prevent forest firesWas doing some more experimenting with my full halogen light bar today, and I thought I'd branch out a little from the Police Vehicles.
Blaine County Fire Department set up a volunteer division a few years ago to monitor and report forest fires in the Chiliad State Wilderness. backed by the San Andreas Park Rangers, the BCFD spent some of the funding on pickup trucks for the volunteer wardens to use. In total the volunteers cover everything from Paleto Forest down to Cassidy Creek.
The truck comes with standard MDT linked to the BCFD control room and mapping software, radios, fire extinguishers to tackle small fires and camp fires, medical bags and a bike for all those hard to reach places.
[EDIT: Enough people are showing an interest, may release this as a standalone vehicle, anyone actually interested in this?]

11john11 reacted to Hullian111 for a gallery image, Power and LightLibel, Liberty City's key electricity maintenance team, have got a job to do almost every day, thanks to Liberty City's slightly-outdated power grid. It is rumoured, however, that their vans seem to always be watching certain people in the city. Some say they even travel in packs...

11john11 reacted to Hullian111 for a gallery image, Let's Start a RiotA fond pastime of mine before I got into screenshotting was throwing molotovs everywhere, sending in riot vans, and smashing up cars, calling it a riot. Here, in London, a neighbourhood disturbance in the run-down Beechwood City area results in a violent conflict with the Met Police, involving some pensioner's Ingot being smashed up and burned to the ground.

11john11 reacted to Hullian111 for a gallery image, Rusting VintageAnd so, normal services are resumed.
The early eighties weren't a great time for Liberty City. Still holding onto the title of 'Worst Place in America', a title it would not let go of until the 90s, it was fairly common to see cars dumped in the streets, or wherever seemed humanly possible. On the Westdyke Beach, for example, a Vigero and an Oceanic had been dumped for little over six months, and while it may not look like it, the tide has taken its toll on both of them, especially the Vigero, and they had all been gutted for parts.
A few days later, they were set alight.

11john11 reacted to Hullian111 for a gallery image, The EndAnd after three nights of revelry, security headaches, and some rather-good music, the buses, some due to return to their depots after they dropped off, drove out to their pick-up points for the last time, filled to the brim with tired, but excited festivalgoers finally on their way home. It had been a long three days for the Liberty City Council and the emergency services, but in all, it had been a great success. And after three days, it was time to pack up, go home, and return to normalcy.
And now to close out this gallery series. In the end, it proved to be unique, but also rather taxing and tricky to think about in terms of ideas, and eventually, I found it not to be as enjoyable as I thought it was going to be. Normal services will resume in this gallery:
