You passed the test like all the rest. Now you have the keys to a early-90s Declasse Yosemite, which has been converted to the 'Police Package' by the Declasse Special Vehicles Unit. Perfectly capable of driving over riot debris without ripping off the bodywork, unlike Merits and Premiers in service at the time, the Yosemite Police Package is perfect for those who want to lug around legally-questionable police equipment and chase out criminals off the beaten track - at the same time. Yeah, this is what you think of when you think of a County Sheriff's car.
 
Would you believe it, this is my first actual vehicle model, after all this time! A Los Santos Sheriffs Department will be made, and the pack will be released when the parts for it become available.

Just when an intense pursuit landed in SAHP jurisdiction, a suspect wanted for robbing multiple 24/7s in Los Santos under the cover of a thunderstorm slipped and smashed into the wall of a house. Unfortunately, the suspect fled, and now it's up to the SAHP to connect the dots.
 
The two vehicles here were provided by 11john11 - I would like to thank him for all the work he is doing, as a fan of his work, he really does good lore stuff. I actually made the livery for the Merit Classic, would you believe it!

I started this project in January, I think. It's been very frustrating to work on, but I think I've got it sorted now. Just needs some minor tweaks, livery variants, and I'm done.

I didn't think this one would go down too well, but I didn't have the right lighting in OpenIV. So here it is - the SA Maverick livery! Oh, and this one's completely scratch-made!

This pack should be out today or tomorrow! It all depends on my time scheduling, but it's great to finally get it out in time for the Merit Classic update.

A couple of nights every month, the high-rolling millionaire car enthusiasts of Liberty City all meet in an underground street racing club just off of Union Drive. Calling themselves 'The Midnight Club', they defy the slow RMPs of the LCPD, and beat the midnight city traffic to race each other and set time records. Having existed all the way from the early eighties, multiple members were arrested over the years, and the club finally shuttered in 2002 due to constant traffic disruption, and post-9/11 security fears.

Reports of a major shootout at the Ludendorff cemetery came in one night in 1992, but even 1951's troopers of the year could not get there fast enough before the damage truly was done. Maybe they didn't want to bring back bad memories of 1983, or maybe they just couldn't get through the unseasonal snow. Regardless, there were very few arrests.
 
Yes, the retro NYSP pack is in the works! I've just got to sort out the other Merit livery, then I'll screenshot it, and get it out there. Here's a frontal:

Vespucci Beach - populated by idiots, some claim. But regardless, the lifeguards get paid well for every swimmer that they save. And living in a city where hardly anyone can swim, it's a race against time to save lives and get the paycheck.
 
I'm thinking of heading on back to GTA IV for a little while. Just need to let some mods start coming along, and also, I kinda miss the modability.

Cars like these take lore modding to a whole new level. It's the handiwork of 11john11 and he's got more where that came from!
 
 

It's pretty much the middle of the night, and one very tired driver of a sliver Merit lost control on the highway back to Paleto Bay, and flew straight into Lago Zancudo. His vehicle, obviously, was destroyed, the roof of it barely visible above the water. And due to the force of the impact, the driver was seriously injured and put into a coma, but thankfully, he came to his senses... in 1995.
