I put the entire vehicle and ped files since I changed many little details (lights colors and so on). I had to change the tahoe model since when it got dirty it got grey, so I will wait until a new custombackup releases which lets you put the always clean flag.
I added a bulletproof vest saying ''state police''. I've seen on youtube njsp actually use them in some cases so it's realistic. Also you don't always see them with hats on, for example in pursuits.So going straight to the point, this mod is realistic, don't worry. 
My next project is Newark police, follow me for updates.
So you will have NJSP as sheriff/state and Newark as city police.
 
FILES DETAILS:
Many hours I put into this pack. Especially the uniform and the hat were complicated. Don't mind the first photo with the hatless ped, the pants on him  have been changed as shown in the 3rd picture (don't worry bro!)

This pack contains a livery for the nypd impala and the traffic agent model.
For those who are using the nypd pack, I have found out how to put the impala in policeold2 slot. Follow the readme files and you will be find. The ped replaces the ranger, not the cop model.
I don't know if I will add a crown vic nypd traffic livery, when I will have time I will do it.

I recommend using the new bmw bike mod or if you want stick with the vanilla harley davidson.
Known bugs:
1) the badge doesn't show up properly, you can see a star shadow behind it. If someone knows how to remove it message me and I will do it. Ingame it looks fine during gameplay.
2) the symbol under the los angeles traffic decal on the arms (the one with the arrow): one of them is correctly pointing forwards, the other one backwards. I think there's no way to fix this.

Revised livery, applied corrections to font inclination and changed position of unit number. Added nypd insignia in front. Remember this is not the model that nypd uses, so until a modder creates a bearcat I can't do better than that. If you want also a nypd version for the insurgent (since it supports multiple liveries) tell me in the comments.

PS: I found out that if I use the riot+hi.ytd file, the game crashes. So it's best to put only the 3 riot files without the 4th one (riot+hi.ytd).

Bugs: the front side of the helmet has a little part of color near the insignia that tends to have different brightness based on ingame light. I can't do anything about it. The symbol is pretty well made and it's the one used by NYPD.
