Managed to get a better example of this glow I am looking to see more of lol In the photo below, the car on the left has the red and blue glow that illuminates around the lightbar when flashing. The car on the right I do not see this except for the bottom Blue LED that is flashing, otherwise the lightbar itself has no glowing aura around it when flashing. Is there anyway to make this happen

One problem I keep having with ELS is the ambient glow of the lights and how to make this more visible. In the video I have posted, keep your eye on the Right Chargers rear taillights that are flashing Red n Blue. When far away, you can see the red and blue ambiance or glow, but as I get close, that glow disappears and you now just see the tail lights simply flashing. I have this problem with any ELS car installed, EXCEPT the lightbar on the Los Santo Police Service MegaPack from Jedahdiah. His lightbar flashes with an ambient glow no matter distance. EDIT: I noticed that you cannot see the glow in the right chargers taillights. Bad rendering on my part. In this case, you can at least still see the head lights on the left charger show a white ambient glow. For those confused on my explanation. The lightbars you can see flashing, however there is no glowing flash surrounding the lights like stock police lights would have. Settings: PostFX and Shader are maxed

I once came across a chart or lookup thar described where you could find certain clothing parts to edit textures. example: for Top number 112 it would tell me what jib file to look at to find it. Can someone link that here

Hello, I wanted to make a suggestion to the vehicle builders out there when building an ELS lightbar. I would try to do this, but I have a pretty good feeling I would not do a good job or most likely I would mess it up. One of the features I have not yet seen on ELS equipped police cars is a three stage lighting feature where the following would happen: Stage1: Amber warning lights and rear emergency lighting turns on Stage2: Now just the rear of the lightbar turns on but the front of the bar stays off. all front body lights would also stay off. Stage3: Christmas tree lol. All lights turn on. I know a lot of agencies here near the Greater Toronto Area have the ability to do this for two generic reasons. 1) they can turn on stage 2 when assisting an officer on a traffic stop to not disorient or blind the officer in front with front flashing lights. 2) If they are the primary on a traffic stop, then can perform the stop with stage 3, then go to stage 2 in order to not expose occupants of the car to possible medical issues like a seizure. If I missed a model out there like this, please let me know. It is something I havent come across yet so thought I would put my two cents in on it. I can do repaints and textures like crazy, but still struggle with models and CAD work

I am not sure if it has been mentioned before, I tried searching but couldn't find anything on it. Without ELS When you do a traffic stop, at some point you get a message IF THE SUSPECT IS TAKING LONG TO PULL OVER, PRESS L (CONTROLLER) TO USE THE MEGAPHONE this works as expected and the suspect will pull over. Using ELS 1.05, when this message pops up, I press L as before when I wasn't using ELS and all my officer does is hold down the airhorn (obviously because it is mapped to L) but the suspect proceeds to take his sweet A** time to pull over. somewhere ELS is not interfering with you being able to essentially megaphone the suspect to stop the car quicker in a traffic stop.

I knew it was a quick fix lol. Problem solved. The instant I looked at your reply and saw packdefault folder, I took a look there and saw only a POLICE xml. That was enough to tell me to move all the model xml files from the ELS folder into this pack folder. Thank you for at least helping me think where to look

Got ELS working last night. I have ave no issues what so ever with various models installed to the POLICE slot, but models added to the POLICE3, SHERIFF or SHERIFF2 slots do not work. I do have their appropriate VCF files installed and i even added the Sheriff lines to the Slot Control file of ELS. Is is there a step or something i am missing? I have not tried to verify POLICE2 or other slots at this time

I don’t usually have issues installing plugins. To add my two cents to some of what I have been reading. If you carefully read the instructions provided with plugins or scripts, models, etc. and follow them, you usually do not have any issues getting them to work. sometimes it takes a little sluthing to use openiv to search for a specific file. This usually happens when GTA has been updated since the release of a particular plugin or model you are installing. For instance, I usually find myself needing to do a little more digging on .meta files when installing models but if you are patient and take the time to look, you should have no issues. Helping those who have not followed instructions precisesly kind of reminds me of the whole Did you unplug it and plug it back in comment lol ELS 8.1 though I have to agree with the poster above has not worked since I tried installing it. Followed every instruction, even searched google for an entire day trying a variety of fixes from the results, but could not get it to work.

Ive had Traffic Policer cause a crash recently as well. Went to perform a clean PIT on a car, the instant my cruiser touched his, crash. hmmm

I have been getting random crashes lately. By random, I do mean random, where I cannot reproduce the issue, and could go hours without one. My latest crash happened just now while attempting to detain two suspects. I have posted the RageHook text file below. Mods running: LSPDFR LSPDFR+ with Traffic Policer and Arrest Manager Using Non-ELS cars as I still havent been able to figure out why ELS 8.5 will not work.

I cannot get info on how to get ELS 8.5 and have exhausted all tries including .dll and .asi files, ensuring all are up to date etc. So how do you install Non ELS cars that have different names. EXAMPLE: I downloaded a NON ELS car that the vehicle files say socharger.ytd and so on. I am not sure if they are supposed to be renamed or just placed as is. How is this done. Also, if replacing a vehicle. Are you supposed to add the META info (carcols, carvariations, etc) to the existing files (obviously replacing them would remove default car info) This would not be a problem for me, but what carcols, carvariations, vehicles META file do I edit. there are I think dozens of them in different locations (mpbeach, mpbattle, mpassault, etc)

I still cannot manage to get ELS 8.5 to work

I will try to explain what happens to see if anyone else is experiencing this. I approach a group group of males who are drinking in public, attempt to stop one of them by holding E. all of a sudden he wants to run. The following then happens to my character: He begins to arrest and frisk midair, appears to go through terrain, gestures as if he is opening a car door but nothing is in front of him but air, then proceeds to act like he is entering a car, yet nothing is still there but air, and is now in a sitting position suspended in the air. While all this is going on, the original perp he was trying to stop is now clear out of the area. I cannot move the character or attempt to fake get out of this air car or anything. I have to click go to the nearest police station in the pause menu to get things back on track.

ok. did this, no change. I noticed I also have ScriptHook.dll and ScriptHookV.dll Also getting random LSPDFR crashes. Usually when trying to pursue a fleeing vehicle. RagePluginHook.log

Hi Pazzi, in my folder I have AdvancedHook.dll and AdvancedHookV.dll

Still needing help on this. Have not been able to get ELS to work for the life of me
