  1. How are we supposed to use this without a VCF?
  2. Will you update this to fix the volume? Some words are extremely loud.
  3. That depends where you live. I have been pulled over twice and both times they only used lights. I think in certain states - California if I remember correctly - they are legally required to blip the siren. In other states, I believe the siren is only used if the driver fails to notice the lights. In any case, the fact that it's doing it for me rather than me having to do it myself is definitely unrealistic. As for the swearing, I don't dislike it because I have a problem with swearing in the game, I dislike it because it's just unrealistic. How can you hear what someone's saying all the way up in the car ahead of you?
  4. When you pull someone over, the siren automatically sounds briefly, and you hear the driver swear loudly. The latter especially is very unrealistic, and the former is unrealistic if I did not press the MAN button myself. Is there a way to get rid of these sounds, or a mod to do so?
  5. These callouts are awesome! They do, however, still need to be better centralized. By that I mean, if I'm rolling around Los Santos as a city cop, I shouldn't be getting called clear out to Blaine county to handle something. Etc.
  6. That's the one (Better Dispatch Audio)! Thanks! I didn't read it thoroughly enough and thought it only changed the dispatcher's responses.
  7. I love the tones of the Banshee but I wish it weren't so shrill. If you look up videos of it on YouTube it doesn't seem to sound the same in the real world as it does in game. It's very grating and treble-heavy.
  8. This is an awesome car, but it drives like a damn boat. Tendency to flip. Handling needs adjustment. EDIT: This was my fault. I had handling set to POLICE3 in vehicles.meta instead of POLICE2.
  9. Yeah I don't really know what to do. They already look super red in the texture files, but in game for some reason it comes up as this weird, mustard-and-ketchup sort of orangey color.
  10. The various peds have a metadata file that OpenIV can't open. I assume that contains information like linking various versions of the peds with their correct voices. If I want to alter which voice a particular version of a ped uses, is there a way to do that, or is that beyond current capability?
  11. I think I've heard such a mod used in videos before. Replaces unrealistic stuff like "Victor 13, we're at the little coffee shop around the corner!" with more realistic, police-like responses. Is such a mod on here? I was looking in Audio but couldn't find anything.
  12. Can you point me to something that would explain how to do that? I've never edited textures before.
  13. Somehow the red lights still look more orange than real red to me. Idk, maybe I'm a moron.
  14. Is it supposed to have that odd texture on the top? I don't know exactly how to describe it, it's like, wavy? On the top of the lightbar, the roof of the car, maybe a couple other places.
  15. The texture f550_sign_2 is a wireframe and thus, when the ambulance loads with this texture, it will just have a wireframe all over the outside.
  16. This car is awesome! I will say one thing: The red lights are actually more of an orange. I guess that's personal preference but personally I'd rather them to be actually red. Maybe you can offer an optional texture?
  17. I don't know if this is an issue with ELS or LSPDFR itself, but: ELS vehicles are unable to respond lights-only. So if the AI is driving them then they will sit there with lights and sirens on even if they are perfectly still and just idling. It can get very annoying and immersion-breaking. It would be absolutely awesome, if this is an ELS issue, if you could fix this and make it possible for ELS AI cars to run lights-only.
  18. What exactly do these files do? The car seems to work okay without them.
  19. This car would be perfect if it weren't for the fact that the "red" lights are actually an orangey color.
  20. Is there a way to configure this so that you can load the individual variations that you get with the "Head" option in the normal LSPDFR menu in the police stations?
  21. I did. I don't understand what you mean by "police3 data." I thought perhaps that was referring to the ELS file, since that file actually has police3 in the name. So then you are saying you do not know where the vehicles.meta and carvariations.meta go? Okay. :(
  22. You don't specify where we should place the vehicles.meta and carvariations.meta.
  23. Also, what scripts folder? I don't have one.
