  1. Usually happens when you have entirely too many car mods installed or you are trying to play without a proper swap file allocated in Windows.
  2. I don't like the ghost town traffic stop feature, but I'm still having a lot of fun playing LSPDFR. Maybe you just need to take a break, or revert to a backup of 0.2b.
  3. You're asking the wrong guy, he and I aren't getting any crashes... and we both use an extensive amount of additional callouts.
  4. PoliceB uses sirensettings=6... but I don't know if that's gonna work for a car. I would think you'd just need to use the proper sirensettings for the model you swapped it with, but can't say I've ever seen anyone do this before.
  5. I turned off all the lock features of MoreControlV. I'm pretty sure it isn't needed, and does something else that makes your car unattractive to thieves, as my police car has never been stolen while using it.
  6. Briefly tested and it seems to work. Didn't notice any FPS drops really, saw the notifications in the upper left corner...
  7. just extract the .oiv file... it's the same thing.
  8. thanks for the .ini, now we need a modifier key ;)
  9. So yeah, purposely mess up your backup.xml, force a callout that involves other officers responding (backup), and accept the call while dispatch is still talking. That should reproduce it.
  10. yeah, just import it as cvpi_sign_2
  11. Ah, I see now. Honestly, I don't have enough LSPDFR crashes that I'm worried about it, just wanted to test this out. Thanks all for chiming in :)
  12. Dunno, guess it just doesn't like me then. I don't have any other problems so not sure why that is.
  13. Er, Am I supposed to unloadplugin LSPDFR? If so, that might be why, I was not aware of that fact, lol.
  14. Sure, loaded game, hit space-F9 to go on duty, spawned a couple police cars, then typed the command CleanupLSPDFRCrash true. Here's the result. Note this literally NEVER ends, until I close the game.
  15. I typed CleanUpLSPDFRCrash true or something like that, and my game went absolutely batshit crazy. Ragehook just scrolled errors until I closed the game. I can try it again, but I deleted the log because it was so huge.
  16. Hm, after some testing I think you're right, this doesn't quite work as expected. ;p
  17. Thank you Jeff Favignano for letting me use this snippet of his video. ... and he's listed in the credits.
  18. You still need Skin Control to fine tune the appearance of the ped and save it.
  19. That's just Polecat being Polecat. I'm pretty sure both Jeff and Polecat have a lot of respect for the work that goes into LSPDFR.
  20. This is why I don't use OIV installers ;p
