Very nice car mod, but a few suggestions. 1. The textures of the LSPD logo and other elements of the livery are very grainy and look bad. 2. In first person and third person, my character doesn't actually grab the wheel to turn the car. 3. Could you add lights in the upper section of the front windshield? And in the back? Otherwise very nice looking.
  1. When you're driving in real life and see someone turn right on red without coming to a complete stop, and you want to press "shift" with every fiber of your being.
  2. I will definitely download this. I don't like having to use a trainer or the RageHook console to repair my vehicle. Thanks!
This mod has a lot of potential, but it could use a little work. (For those that don't know) Activating the strobes with this mod makes the front headlights flash light. I can't tell if there's any other effect with this mod (correct me if I'm wrong). The activation/deactivation keys don't always seem to work. If I turn on my lights and sirens normally, I can't seem to deactivate the strobes. I saw in the config file that the strobes turn on automatically when the lights/sirens come on, but it would be nice to turn them on/off at will. I also had problems turning the strobes on/off when my lights and sirens were off. Sometimes the keys didn't respond to me. This might be an issue on my end. This was definitely an issue on my end. Solved. The lights are really bright. They're almost blinding. I would reduce them so they're not so bright. In contrast, the actual headlights don't look that bright when you're facing the car when the strobes are on. You have to really look to see that each headlight is flashing. If it's possible to make the flashing headlights brighter and the light they cast less bright, I would do that (although that might sound nonsensical haha). All in all I would call this a nice simple mod that needs some tweaks.
  3. This is hilarious! Thank goodness it wasn't in downtown Los Santos. I called in something like 2 helicopters there, and one shoved the other into a building. The result was catastrophic. But we just weren't going to let the red light violator get away.
  4. I'm wondering if it would be possible for someone to create a police car/ped model for a University of San Andreas Police Department. It would be cool to role play a university officer that patrols the campus/properties of ULSA and the surrounding neighborhoods. The car and uniform could be modeled after the University of California Police Department. And, just like the real UCPD, the 'USAPD' would technically have state wide jurisdiction. Thoughts?
  5. The name made me laugh! It looks really good. I'm going to give it a whirl.
  6. This is a great mod. I've used it a bit, and it works well. My only suggestion would be to possibly consider making it the Sheriff Department that picks up the suspect. I know in a lot of jurisdictions that the county sheriff handles inmate transportation. That might not make much sense because the van is obviously LSPD, but it would be weird to have LSPD officers pick up someone out of the city. Otherwise great work!
  7. This design looks great! Very clean and nice. Well done.
  8. It's annoying, but honestly I prefer it to ambulances/police officers slamming into things. At least civilians can be forgiven for not being trained to deal with stressful situations.
  9. Really great job on this mod, and thank you for making it. I only recently got into LCPDFR, but sometimes (a lot) the crashes were frustrating. I've played LSPDFR for several hours now with not even a hiccup.
