  4. New update will be uploaded either today or tomorrow to fix a few issues and tweek a few thing
  5. Thats a good point. With the amount of usage this program could get, sending mass amounts of queries to the database with regards to reports could create a problem. But i thought about that already. What i have planned to do is, when you fill out a report, the report is not going to be saved to the database, in stead it will input all the information that you entered into a report that will be created by the program. It will then give you the option to save it to your computer, where you can then upload it elsewhere, or you can print it off. Either way, its not going to so resource intensive to cause problems.
  6. Thanks, its only taken close to a year to get it where it is now lol
  7. Version 0.1.2.2 Released & Waiting approval http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/5526-desktop-dispatching-software/
  8. Pretty much dead on Sam. This is an out of game application that runs on windows (7 and above) out of game. Basically, i know that for us (LCPSR) We wanted something that would keep track of all the units that we in a patrol, and it would let us know who was available, where they were, what kind of call they were on.... and so forth. It is essientially an MDC type system, however it is unable to connect to anything in game. I am not profoundly good at coding for GTA, but im working on it slowly, so it may eventually become something that could be accessible while in game.
  9. Thanks, if you have any suggestions im open for them, the bolo aka apb portion was a suggestion from one of our dispatchers
  10. So as everyone is well aware, I have been working on a online version of my previous Desktop Dispatching Program. Its been a slow and quite aggravating process thus far, but I think I have gotten it to where I think we might be at a releasable base version. I am finishing up a few things in the programming trying to get it as optimized as possible, so there is a very high possibility that I will have a beta version uploaded within the next 3-4 days. I will post some screen shots and some more information about the program later today since it is 3 am and I am a zombie right now. The LCPSR (Liberty County Public Safety Roleplay) is my testing group and from what I am being told by our dispatchers is that this program is extremely helpful when running multiple dispatchers at the same time since they can see the same things in real time. So far what is completed: All information is saved to a database, which can (in the future) be recalled at any time All dispatchers can see the same information once uploaded to the database Incident tracking NCIC (National Criminal Incident Computer) what is used to perform Person/License Plate lookup BOLO Tracking (Be On the Look Out) AKA APB (All Points Bullitin) Admin defined fields for incidents including (Incident Types, Dispositions) Admins are able to create user accounts for users Admins are able to create units Dispatchers are able to assign beats on a floating basis Much More What is planned: Reporting Module - So users can file incident reports that will be saved to database Reports will be able to be printed off or saved to computer Database for saving person records so it will keep track of every person your department pulls over Database for saving license plate records Complete customization of program for skinning Screenshots: http://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-81570400-1399859709.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-10134000-1399859712.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-48743100-1399859714.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-33901700-1399859717.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-54010700-1399859719.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-10848500-1399859722.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-27267200-1399859725.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-75089500-1399859727.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_05_2014/post-21622-0-96448000-1399859730.jpg
  11. Ok, so kind of a big update..... I THINK the program will be ready for testing this weekend. That's what im shooting for. I have been spending a lot of time working on getting everything set up and I think most of it will be ready by this weekend. The only thing im thinking might not be ready is the NCIC (National Crime Information Center) portion which will handle all Persons/License plate checks (also keep track of who you have pulled over and any tickets/warrants issued) which may have to come at a later time. Once I get home from work on Thursday I will see where we are so far and if I can work in the basics of the NCIC I will get that added in. I have 2 clans who I have spoken to about bugging/stress testing the program. One is a HUGE clan that im hoping can produce some great results while bug testing and hopefully the program will handle everything they throw at it. So if everything goes well and everything works well, then you can HOPEFULLY expect an Alpha (maybe Beta) release as early as next week

  14. depending on how many car mods you have you could be taking up too much game memory with multiple higher poly cars.
