  1. You pushed the red button, didn't you? Agent Kay told you not to push it, but you did anyway. And look what you did. :-)
  2. I'm actually not doing all that much editing of liveries, I mainly like to open the vehicle in OpenIV and see how it looks before I actually install it and the config files and all of that. It's way too much of a pain to install vehicles completely just to open the game and find out they're not what I wanted. Lately I've been focusing more on better lights for the police vehicles. I really don't like the Tir6 lights because of the zig-zag pattern, so I'm working on my own. It's tough getting the colors right though.
  3. Well that sucks... it takes way too long to open the game for each car I want to check out before making a final decision. Guess I won't be using those mods.
  4. Damn. They snuck in a game update. Looks like it broke LSPDFR/Ragehook again. UPDATE: Ragehook crashed the first two times I ran it, but the third time was a charm. Everything SEEMS to still be working (knock on wood).
  5. Both Ragehook and Scripthook have been updated, you should be good to go.
  6. If I'm not mistaken, you only have to back up 3 or 4 specific files to do a rollback. Just do a bit of looking around and you should find plenty of info on how to do it, especially after the last major update screwed everything up as badly as it did. Personally I haven't bothered with backups since, aside from the last major patch, the teams are pretty good about updating things quickly.
  7. We know that, the update today broke it. Scripthook was just updated a few minutes ago but Ragehook hasn't been updated yet. So no LSPDFR yet unless you made a backup and can roll back.
  8. Well, Scripthook was just updated. I had the site up and just now reloaded it and the new version is up. That was freaking quick LOL. UPDATE: Scripthook is working but Ragehook is still broken. There's definitely an improvement on performance, I noticed it with only a couple mins of regular gameplay. Looks like the update was meant to fix the stuttering issues. Hopefully Rage will update fairly quickly.
  9. I'm not sure if that email is funny or an insult... LOL
  10. So basically, they brought a bunch of new weapons to the market and completely got rid of the cops, all in one shot. REALLY glad no one has been able to do this in the real world ROTFL. Anxiously waiting for 0.2. This mod is the only reason I bought GTA V, and 0.1e proved it was worth every penny.
  11. Heya guys, Just recently, the ambulances stopped working properly in Callouts+. I'm not sure if I installed something that did it, or if it's random. Now, when I attempt to call an ambulance to the scene, it spawns an empty one somewhere close by, usually within eyesight, each time I press the key combo. No driver or passenger in it, it's just sitting somewhere. The regular LCPDFR ambulance call will bring one to me, although it drives crazy and usually doesn't stop at my location but keeps on going. The last two modifications I did were installing a police car (A recently released Dodge Charger) in the FBI vehicle slot and I have been editing the handling.dat file with Sgt. Kanyo's handling lines, and one of the lines I modded was the ambulance. I'm not sure how either of these could cause this issue, but we all know how computer code and script can take on a mind of its own when it wants to. I'm using the latest versions of Callouts+ and LCPDFR. Other mods include Wouters Callouts, Backup Callout, Less Overtaking, and Traffic Flow. All 7 police vehicle slots have new cars in them and both the fire truck and ambulance have new models as well. However, I've been running like this for quite a while and only recently encountered a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions, or has anyone had this problem and figured out how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Although I can easily just not use the ambulance, it does seem wrong somehow LOL. And not being able to bring one to the scene can be an issue on certain callouts.
  12. Hi KyneiZero, Thanks for the info! I'll try those settings and see if they help. My main issue with the "fake" ENB is that the lightbar colors appeared to be pink and baby blue and very washed out, which drove me up the wall. But that file that I used before was in the Downloads section of this site, it wasn't from your post. All it contained was a visualsettings file, which made the lights look better but just wrecked the colors. In the thread that you linked, the very first pic in the first post, the car on the far right, the lightbar colors are horribly washed out, while the other two cars colors look a bit better. I have tried editing the model textures of the vehicles I like to use, but it seems like no one uses a universal file structure, so some vehicles have an emerglights texture, some don't, some have multiple textures that COULD be the colors, etc etc. So far I haven't been able to change the colors of any light on any vehicle I've downloaded, despite editing God knows how many different files. I have no idea what causes so many issues with ENBs on my system, but I'd just like to make the lights on emergency vehicles look better and more realistic. I'll try your settings though and see if that helps any. Thanks!
  13. Hi guys, I've tried installing multiple ENBs and every single time the game drops to around 9 FPS, regardless of how I change the graphic settings. I've reinstalled GTA IV each time I've tried a different ENB, and although I have a decent laptop, not a single one will work properly. So, I'm trying to find a way to make the ELS lights look about as good as you can find in an ENB, without installing a full ENB with all of the extra fluff. I know that some of this has to do with the visualsettings file and the timecycle files, but I don't have the slightest idea what I'm doing when it comes to editing those files, and what it all means. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I already have all the mods and vehicles I like, I'm just trying to make the lights look better. The rest of the game looks fine to me. I tried an older "fake" ENB listed on the site here which contained only a visualsettings file. but it turned all of the red lights on ELS lightbars to a bright pink and baby blue. I've pretty much run out of ideas. I've installed the latest versions of LCPDFR and ELS. Below are my laptop specs, if that will be useful to anyone. I'd love to use a full ENB, but unless someone here knows what the heck is causing the severe lag, I'll have to look for an alternative. BRAND: Xidax XM-5 Gaming Laptop (Custom Built) CPU: Intel Core i7-4810MQ @ 2.8 ghz GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M RAM: 8 GB 1600mhz DDR3 OS: Windows 7 Professional Thanks in advance for any help!
