  1. @Trolclan i was not too "lazy" to set the lights up the way you wanted. i designed them that way. i wanted it to have an unique setup, instead of the same old standard setup. if i wanted to have a full traffic advisor i would have done that. i designed each part of the lightbar with that specific extra for that pattern during lstgs 1-3.
  2. you have to use a program like notepad or notepad++
  3. so then u most probably havent installed els correctly
  4. the axis is most probably not set right, select the mesh, click reset to world, then click center to axis.
  5. no, select the mesh and click center to axis
  6. sorry i dont know i just did center to axis and it worked fine for me
  7. currently the only fix i know of is doing this
  8. do you have any other els cars installed? if so do they work?
  9. yes but (im not 100% sure this is how it works, but im pretty confident) the parts axis is in essence its own dummy, therefore if say an axis was flipped, then ingame the mesh would be flipped. but in general ALWAYS do lods for anything ur doing
  10. hm, im not sure, perhaps the light origin would come from the axis? although either way, you should do lods for all the lights, and then place each dummy to where u want it to flash from far away, (otherwise from a distance ur lights wont look good)
  11. how is yours setup? can u show me ur hierarchy?
  12. sorry i cant really tell whats wrong there
  13. my next project is a vet affairs unmarked impala (pics shown below is pre els lighting)
  14. did u install the sheriff addon? if not you should be able to just put it in your main rde vehicles location. no dont, thats a workaround. install it properly by changing the line in the meta file did u try ctrl f? do you have els installed? this is rde no not these cars
  15. are your shaders and postfx on high or above?
  16. thats not telling me much of anything. did you install the cars properly? (the model files, xml and meta line) what version did u use? rde or non-rde? what car has this problem, or are they both like this? are you using any light enhancing mods like RadianceV?
  17. no they have different install locations. if you are using rde, then download that version, otherwise download the non-rde version
