I support gun carry, I did long before i got involved in LE. I started carrying at 18. I realize it's not a right there. I am not out to tell you America has the best ways, we certainly CERTAINLY don't. Nor am i saying a gun is a problem solver always. The words are your best tool in LE. My point is, with that post about only sherrifs, LEOs etc. that was received by me (and many others, whether intentional or not) that regular citizens should not be allowed to carry. That is the main point I'm challenging you on. There have been far to many episodes, Not just here but around the world, of violence in public places. I do not understand even a little bit, how someone would not trust a person who has passed a mental backround check, and a quite thorough BCI backround check to be allowed to carry to defend themselves. I wish, I really do, that there was a place where i would be 100% safe, but there isnt. Not in America, Mexico, Canada, anywhere. We have one life, No-one should tell someone that can't protect that with a gun, not a person, a government, dictator, whomever. On the flip side, no-one should be FORCED to carry a weapon. This shouldn't be taken out of context, I realize my wording was harsh, but there is my main point. If we do not agree, so be it. We are humans, and we will never fully understand each other.

Well, most people don't. I'm not a shoot first ask questions later kind of person. Police Officers can't be that type of person. When it comes to my life being a in direct danger, it is shoot first ask questions later. There's no time to sit and articulate this and that, when a gun is being pointed at you. Iconography, Thank you so much for explaining Liberal intentions. WHen did i say all liberals want to abolish guns, Because i can't seem to find it. If you're going to qoute me atleast refer to something that i actually said. Second, Again Slimory I don't know you, you're right. I never claimed too, I did however read a direct statement that you said the ONLY people to have guns are sherriffs, LEOs, etc. My question, which you haven't answered yet by the way, was what would you do if a someone comes into your house and tries to kill you. That's my question. It's the easiest question to back you liberals into a corner and do some logical thinking. The way I see it, is you either let them or yourself die, you call the police and hide, or you fight back. Well, ever heard of bringing a knife to a gunfight. Yea. I just hope I never end up at your house looking over a dead bodies because a father/mother/uncle/aunt or whomever can't defend themself. Police will never be a house away. We are here to help, and defend the innocent we will, but cmon. We arent going to be 15 seconds out all the time.

I'm sorry, but you have no logic. I wonder if you've ever been outside of your home. Suppose, just play with me here, tonight someone breaks in. You own no weapons, That person is armed with a gun. They walk in and shoot your wife, child, uncle, whoever. Then turn to find you. What will you do? Call the cops, who may be minutes away? I'll tell you right now, if someone broke into my house, I'd grab my .45 that's right next to be, and end the threat. You liberals do to much thinking, for being so damn open-minded, you sure would have a hard time figuring out what to do if someone ever broke in. The same situation applies to if you out for coffee, and some criminal busts in with a will to kill every single person in there. You need to come out of your perfect little world inside your bedroom. You really do, God forbid i hope you don't have a direct family that trusts YOU to protect it.

In most cases, tips result in reasonable suspicion, in the event of an individual carrying a handgun, this could, at the officers discretion be considered disorderly conduct if he is alarming others. Even though it is his right to carry a weapon, and no legal actuon would be taken there the officer could talk to that person, based on receiving calls of ALARMED citizens. So, because a person is temp. stopped if he has a weapon the right is there depending on the officers discretion. The officer could articulate in court, that he stopped the person because he believed they were alarming residents. It would have nothing to do with his right to carry. To be specific, I am anti gun control allthe way, I carry myself. Think outside the box, an officer receives a call from multiple citizens of a man with a gun. Now, for myself, I'd expect a law-abiding concealed/open carry. However, just to twist what your saying a little bit, the officer could stop that person, and in court, articulate "I stopped this person, because I had reasonable suspicion after multiple calls from citizens that this may have been terrorizing, or just disorderly conduct" Obviously this is rubbish for an arrest, but reasonable suspicion is a very small amount. SO I could technically stop someone and if they challanged it, be almost guarenteed 100% in a court of law that i had my reasonable suspicion to stop. So I believe it meets your requirement in your first paragraph, I as an officer, had reasonable suspicion that a crime may be being committed. For the third paragraph, What you say is true yes, but what i said in my earlier post, you have to tell them they are free to go. If i say, "You are being handcuffed soley for my safety, I'd just like to talk to you, if you wish to leave let me know and i will unlock the cuffs and you can be free to leave" This would not violate any law, and would most CERTAINLY stand up in a court of law. It would be recorded and presented, the person was clear cut told he could leave, he just had to ask to be unlocked. The handcuffs are only for my safety, if you explain all that like I did above, It would under technical law, not be a detention. Whether I get an odd look or not, doesnt matter to me. I'm worried about my safety, this isnt a big Supreme court case setting case law, but there was a case in my area similar to this, where the officer told the person all of the above, and it stood up in court. So cuffing, is NOT a detention if you tell the person their right to leave and explain (quite frankly very in depth) this has, and I believe would hold up in a court again. Last paragraph, I am fully aware of what people mean when they say "Assault" Rifle. My point is, 99% of these people do not assume your German Sturmgewehr. They refer to something that fires semi-auto. I say there is no such thing, because if I was to show them a semi-auto .22 rifle (just a normal rifle, not any Ar variants or anything else) They would say no that doesnt look like an assault rifle. People are sheep when it comes to this, I could take a single shot .22 in the variant of an AR-15 or AK and people would say its an assault rifle. My point here, is the general populace doesnt know exactly the terms behind it, they go off of looks, and the slightly smarter go off of actually how many rounds come and leave the chamber when the trigger is pulled. My main point is explaining that all guns are dangerous, the term "assault" is often glued to killing humans, which all guns are capable. Again, to everyone reading this, I am as Pro gun right wing republican as they get. I believe everyone who wants a semi-auto rifle, should get one. IF you want to carry your .45 do it. I encourage it.

Your right, I guess technically people will get fully auto weapons, with the FFL class 3, with the receivers and other crucial parts pre-dated 1986. I know it is very difficult, and very expensive to acquire.

Which you rightly should, just know detaining and placing in handcuffs are two different things. I can say, "sir I'd like to talk for a second and im going to place you in handcuffs for both of our safety, you are not being arrested and you have not been charged and are free to go if you like." MOST people will just go along with it, however i included that you were free to leave, therefore any lawsuit would be dismissed. Asking if you are free to leave is always legal. If they say yes, than if you really don't want to talk you are free to leave. This video basically shows some douchebag who can pull out a century book out and aggravate the cops, not to mention wasting resources that could be preventing that officer from doing something important.

First, It's typical a liberal Canadian would tell us not to own guns. Recent examples are blatantly obvious, school shootings, shootings of random people inside of coffee shops, etc. anywhere else in public really. It's my right to carry my gun because I have ONE life, and only ONE life. I will protect it by any means necessary. That includes carrying my firearm with me whereever I go. Do you think the parents of those children in Mass. thought their children were safe? You bet they did. It's better to HAVE a gun and not need it then to need it and not have it. Secondly, with this douche recording the video, just like others said. He's trying to cause trouble, FYI if a call comes in from dispatch, the police are required to respond, when an officer sees that you match the description of someone who was called in, UNFORTUNATELY it is reasonable suspicion. The problem comes when officers Assume Probable cause off of tips, reasonable suspicion is different. I have been stopped by police in Walmart for carrying before my career in Law enforcement started. I gave the man everything he needed and was out in less than 5 minutes. Reasonable suspcion is very, VERY little. If I get a call about someone and i see him/her on the street or in the area, I will check them out. Will i violate their rights? No, is asking for their ID violating there right? No, its not. I will damn well place someone who is verbally not complying in handcuffs for my own safety. Does that mean they are being detained? No, if they ask to leave then by law i unlock the cuffs and let them on their way. In a nutshell, 1. People Anti-gun are complete liberal open minded idiots who's first response is to cower and hide when someone would bust into their home. Unfortunately police cannot respond in seconds and I being involved in LE believe that you as a citizen should take it upon yourself to protect your life, libery, and property. 2. Reasonable suspicion can be justified after dispatch gets multiple calls on a suspect, and 3. Handcuffs does not immediately = detaining. Sorry for the double post, but Technically, fully auto weapons are legal, even those after 1986. Its called and FFL Class 3 I believe. They can legally own fully automatic weapons. Also, nothing in my opinion is an "assault" rifle. All guns have the ability to kill people, hell a hammer can kill people, shit with martial arts training a credit card can kill people.

People worrying about GTA 5.
There is no such thing as "not crackable", Period. It does not exist. If it can be made "hack-proof" It can be hacked. Ask ubisoft how long it took their "uncrackable" online DRM for splinter cell. Oh, thats right. 24 hours.

Possible in-game ticket recorder?
Hopefully this will reach more viewers, and get some more posts, I think it would be a great idea, and im actually suprised noone has thought of it(atleast not posted) already. It would be a great realistic addition for those who wanted it.

Possible in-game ticket recorder?
Anyone know someone who could/would do it? I know braveheart and a few others have done excellant stuff. THis could be totally wrong, but I'd imagine something like this wouldnt take even half the time some of the other stuff they've put out. LIke i said earlier, my knowlegwe with coding and scripting, is fairly minimal.

Possible in-game ticket recorder?
I just thought of an idea that would go great with this. I don't post very much here but i am an avid LCPDFR player. What about an actual ticket recorder mod? I'm not sure if its possible, but the way i pictured it, You'd stop someone and than maybe in the in game computer, if you decided to ticket them you would record the info. Such as Name, D.O.B, gender, the street they were on, the offense, stuff like that. We could even look at real tickets(I have plenty) of what else to do. What do you guys think? I'm sure there would be some tampering but that is just how i pictured it. I'll leave the actualy handywork to someone who has modded and scripted before. Just an idea! Thanks!

vdH PoliceHelper 1.2.0 beta
I think you should just take the driving back to shop out for EFLC. In my opinion if you give people the option, there will still (unfortunatly) be people who dont read and then they will spam about their problems here. :S Either way, cant wait, i run it on EFLC because my GTA4 has all my good mods and i actually play single player, EFLC i dont i use it stricly for lcpdfr. So either way I'd be in good shape, but i support the idea of taking that part out. Either way good job and can't wait.!

How to Arrest multiple suspects?
Hey guys, maybe i am missing something, im running RC2 with the policing script mod!(excellant) but i can enver arrest more then one person even in regular LCPDFR. Is there a workaround this? I always can get them to stop, but when it asks if i want to take them to the station it wont let me i can hit F10 or F11 all day nothing happens. Im guessing this is normal, since it happens every time but is there a certain way around thing? For instance, i was doing a random crime, stopped a lady when a huge suburban smashed into me, i ordered him out, he complied then shot at me. After shooting he then surrendered. Went and cuffed him, the other lady was waitin to be cuffed. It was stuck at the take to station etc. Tried to cuff the lady didnt work. Basically stopped there. Thanks! Dayton

GTA4 modding help?
Hey guys, not sure if this is in the right place, i havent really found a specific answer for my question. Anyways, Im hoping to install a car pack mod, but my question is, will ALL the cars appear as real ones... or do i need to spawn them, im not sure if i can download it, install it then basically play it and have every car i see (ex. the game just spawning cars) be a real car. Or will i only be able to see the real car if i spawn it. Also, if anyone has any good car pack mods id be grateful for a link. Ive never installed gta4 mods exc. for lcpdfr. so im new, im not sure if i need a trainer, im guessing i dont need any script tools since i dont plan on DLing any scrips, all i basically want... is the ICehancer and a car pack mod, but only if the car pack mod will just turn the fake cars into real ones without me having to spawn them, Thanks in advance!

Roleplaying tool (serious enthusiasts only!) [mdc.lcpdfr.com]
I also support the wipe, i havent been active for a week, ive just getting settled from a move, and i have a ton of things to do. But when things settle down i hope to work more as a prosecutor. I think it would benefit us as well as new officers getting confused.Anyways, there is my two cents. Edit. I also would like to say that i cannot squad charges due to and mdc. error, i posted in bugs about a month ago, just like to let it be known, as its hard for me to do anything except cases that are properly done. Thanks!

Roleplaying tool (serious enthusiasts only!) [mdc.lcpdfr.com]
Hey guys, sorta re-opening this, but i really thing... that when constable gets back that maybe the whole thing should be reset, its getting to be a hassle, its hard to find a person that isnt in custody, prosecutors need to be able to bail, or atleast when they finish a crime report the person should be removed from custody. Also there is a bug on my status that does not let me allow charges to be quashed. I've also found atleast 3 people with 2 or more crime reports, and in all, im getting confused and its getting harder to deal with. I love the game, love this addition, but i think we need to have a way of cleaning some of this stuff up. Personally i think if a person is in custody they should be removed from the generate names completely. But thats just my opinion! As always i love the mod and the game, just my input! Thanks D.Denning

world of tanks
I absolutely love it. Its a great game where... you can get to the top and not spend a dime, i played for atleast 60 hours with not paying, and it wasnt un balanced or anything, The premise behind the game is everybody works hard for their stuff, whether they pay or not. I actually... and if you were to know me youd think id NEVER pay for something like this, but i did spend money on it. I love the game so much. It is definatly worth the download, the first few hours will be a little difficult, but youll eventually move up and get better tanks. That said, if you have any questions about anything you can add me on steam (dayton17) or private message me. I definallty support this game.

Eh, guys im getting a headache here, im still trying to complete a bunch of crime reports, what do i do when the same person has two crime reports against them? Different charges, but the same person? Also, I really believe we need to somehow get to new officers across about the whole process of completeing warrants and making custody reports ect.? Thanks

Thanks, by the way, i just reviewed a case, and decided no prison time was needed? SO after that do i manually go into custody management and then bail the person? I still see their name in there, even though i submitted the case and it was completed. When i hit bail.. nothing happens... this is kinda confusing me, ha. It would be greatly appreciated if someone explained the custody management. THanks

Hey guys! i just got prosecutor status, I do have a few questions, for the custody... do i do anything.. or CAN i do anything with them? It says something about doubling as prosecutors, i see theres a ton of people in custody managment? DO i do anything from that screen? Second, im sifting through write-offs, often times i just close the case as people were warned or cited, or couldnt be found ect. I dont need to leave any comments or do anything further? Correct? Thanks, Dayton Update, ok so.... now im confused lol, when i look at write offs, i can submit them and close them, when i try for crime reports it tells me i need prosecutor status, so maybe i dont have it at all? Or i do and its a bug, i applied for it awhile ago, im not sure if you have enough yet, so maybe this is all a pointless post haha.

Need help buying/building or upgrading a computer?
As far building a PC, I honestly wouldnt buy a six-core anytime soon, you spend so much and really.. you dont NEED all six. I have a Corei7 2600K overclocked to 4.2 GHZ. I have yet to find a game i cannot MAX out. It is a GREAT CPU, for i believe around $300. As for laptops im not sure, you need to spend a ton of money to get a good gaming laptop, party because they arent meant for gaming ha. I Did have trouble with RAM issues with 4gb, so i Upgraded to 8 gigs and i run it flawless now. IT was more of a .... issue, i would be playing GTA and it would get choppy when i was flying a heli, i upgraded ram and i have no issues now. So for GTA id recommend 8 gigs, but hey its very easily upgraded and cheap. I built mine spending most of my money on my CPU and keeping it cool. Two months later i put a much better Graphics card (Radeon 5770 to a GTX 560 TI) The 560 ti maxes anything ive thrown at it (Crysis 2 full DX11 Tesselation ect.) So i really believe in that card, it was also right under $300. So I'd recommend anybody building a PC to spend most of their money on CPU, everything else is fairly easily upgraded.
