LCPD:FR is playable after you complete the first mission Watch this video and learn how to install cars and sirens: I don't see why you want to replace Niko with a different skin but google is your friend with that:) And if you plan on using police car mods use the Traffic Flow mod from here on lcpdfr.com

If you want models then i highly doubt people can do it because they take forever to make. But if it is skins just hvae a look around the forums.. There are a few people taking skin requests at the moment:)

Well if you have the skin open up Spark IV and click on the .wtd file and click edit. So for example if i have a CVPI skin and the CVPI mod is in the police cruiser slot i would go police.wtd *click* and click edit and import the texture to the 1- 4 liveries. You can have up to 4 liveries and if you download the Area Livery Mod which is on this site you can set liveries and spawn them in different parts of Liberty City. If you decide to have a different livery for each 4 slots then you have to go into vehicle.DAT and find the police and police 2 lines and add +livery at the end of the line. But before editing it backup your original file first! one wrong text and your game can be screwed which means a reinstall.... Which sucks.

*Notice* By the looks of things i might be able to get a Cops On Patrol video up on the weekend. If not then i can definitly do one on the 5th because i have a whole day to myself then:)

Do everything as you just did and just save it to your desktop. Then just drag the file from the desktop and replace it with the original one:)

Oh i thought you meant when you were just playing. It really depends on what recording software you use. Cause I know with Fraps the FPS drops because of the amount of Hard drive space it's using. What recording software are you using?

You could always use both.. If your channel is for gaming you could always use intro 1 for that and Intro 2 for your LCPD:FR videos:) I think Intro 1 is more suitable for different aspects of gaming videos and Intro 2 is more about LCPD:FR:)

Nope as far as i know ELS is the only one. You can try and lower the settings and close any background applications before playing or just download Non - ELS cars:)

Most of the time I use a Crown Vic or Dodge Charger. But sometimes I like to change things and use Ford Taurus, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban etc... And other time when I put some Aussie cars in I use either the Holden Commodore SS, Holden Omega, Ford Falcon or a Toyota Hilux divisional van.

My fav TV shows are. Cops, Southland (Sadly it doesn't air much here in Aus), CSI (NY,Miami and Las Vegas), Blue Heelers (an oldish Aussie cop show), Big Bang Theory, South Beach Tow and Lizard Lick Towing:) I have a few more but i'm still half asleep (I just woke up lol) and i can't think of them xD

For the series I'm going to try and get through as many different police agencies as i can. Here is a list of mods that i have planned to use in upcoming videos. The only thing I can think of is to close any unneeded programs before playing. It might give you a slight boost of FPS.

There will be another version eventually. Currently it's at RC3 we may get that when it's ready to be released or G17 Media may decide to release a final product. But yes a new version is in the works so we will get it when it gets released:)

Every time i do a traffic stop it's either old ladies or taxi drivers who pull out a Micro Uzi...... Since when did old ladies and taxi drivers carry Micro Uzis?! o.O

My favourite would have to be the Australian police because they work together with the community and help out people when they're not needed:) But as in states i would have to pick 3. 1 - Tasmania Police 2 - New South Wales Police 3 - Victoria Police Outside of Australia i would have to pick Los Angeles, New York and Miami because those are the 3 i have really heard about.

Have a look around on the forums. Occasionally people will make a thread about taking request for car skins. But to make things easier for skinners, give them pictures of the front, sides and rear for a better result in the skin:)
