  1. How about performing the duties of either the Liberty City Port Authority Police, or the Liberty City Police Aviation Ops division. For the Port Authority police, you will be tasked with assignments to enforce the Port's ordinances, on land or water, and to keep the peace. Your patrol routine will consist of cracking down illegal boat spreeders, curb drug smuggling, and chase down armed illegal aliens around the ports of liberty City, and the body water. You will patrol with a police boat, or your desired land patrol cruiser. The call-outs will only be handled in your port jurisdictions. For the Avaiation Ops division, you will be the Eyes and Light from the sky. You will pilot the aircraft, and respond to call-outs. Providing light support for a unit in a pursuit, or track a speeding boat. Med-Evac patients from medical calls. Your jurisidiction is the sky. You will be the most dependable resource of all in Liberty City.
  2. So, let me see if I'm understanding the features of this modificiation - if I, in theory, were to have a formula or parameters, to create an actual, real life LED pattern, or strobes - it will be possible to design such authentic, custom patterns with v.2? Because if it that is the case - brilliant.
  3. I don't have a problem with that ; ) I still do have to go over some technical issues, but once it's all good, I'll hit you up.
  4. Just ran a stress test - Here is the result : [2/2/2012 6:55:48 PM] Test started for "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580"... Trying 16bpp RGB:565 mode...OK Trying 16bpp RGB:555 mode...OK Trying 16bpp BGR:565 mode...NOT SUPPORTED (Code: 80004001) Trying 32bpp RGB:888 mode...OK Trying 32bpp BGR:888 mode...NOT SUPPORTED (Code: 80004001) [2/2/2012 7:05:44 PM] Pass completed(0 errors found). 16 GB ram.
  5. No, i am not using any visual modifications. I'm pretty sure that it's my Vram - It's not allocating enough memory for GTA IV?...I compared my result to others, and most of them have achieved over 80% video memory... It's either that, or something else...
  6. Alright, i just installed it in the path dictionary. Checked it out in-game and the mb is still the same, in another words, nothing changed. Did you edit your target line as well? Edit: Okay, i added it in the target line. Now, 2249mb changed to 1499. Still determining if it made any positive difference.... Edit 2: Things are starting to look positive and stabilized. FPS increased, no more texture cutting out, nor buildings/grounds disappearing. Usually, when I'm 10 minutes in GTA IV, it will crash or lag out. So far, so good, but too early to say that it works...however, I thank you for the file as you just possibly fixed it. I'm keeping my eye on the CPU and fan temperatures - all balanced and cool. Edit 3: Spoke too soon....the game started to deteriorate...the buildings and road started to disappear as soon i made my way into downtown...I'm starting to question if my Vram is actually good or not....something is making the game go shit....It's not over heating, the cooling is good, the video card doesn't have any incorrect driver versions, i just don't understand wtf is up...The FPS remains high, but the game worsens every 2 minutes...however, on the positive news, some of the issues are fixed thanks to your file. Edit 4: Here is the benchmark - Statistics Average FPS: 60.70 Duration: 32.59 sec CPU Usage: 32% System memory usage: 25% Video memory usage: 41% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 1360 x 768 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: High Shadow Quality: High Reflection Resolution: High Water Quality: High Texture Filter Quality: Anisotropic x8 Night Shadows: Off View Distance: 39 Detail Distance: 39 Hardware Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 Video Driver version: 285.62 Audio Adapter: LG TV-1 (NVIDIA High Definition Audio) Intel
  7. Yes, i am using one Video card. Okay, and do i do the same thing for the target path as well? Because i did this, but i must of added the wrong parameters, because on the video card box, it does say 1536MB. This was the EFLClaunch target path that i had copied off someone who had a similar set-up -"E:SteamsteamappscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLCLaunchEFLC.exe" -norestrictions -nomemrestrict -availablevidmem 1.5 -percentvidmem 100 This made my graphic setting in GTA IV go 729/2249mb, which i assume is mistake on my part... Do i copy everything you said in order, or how should the format be? Do you mind if you can create the .txt and PM it to me? if that's not a problem with you...
  8. Well, i actually bought the EFLC off Steam, and as you probably know, it's 1.0.7.0 version. I don't mean that i actually did the downgrade ( just read the instructions on how to...) but according to the internet ( lol ) version 1.0.4.0 is more stabilized because of it's huge link to an array of modifications. Steve, how did you manage to get yours up and running without running into conflicting issues like this?
  9. Hey all, Recently i installed EFLC on my brand new computer ( Specs will be posted below) and not to my surprise, the game runs like 1998. I am aware that it is CPU intensive, and not friendly around Nivida cards.. OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Motherboard - Asus Maximus IV Extreme - Z CPU- Intel® Core™ i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz RAM - 16 GB ram GPU - Gigabyte Nivida GTX 580 Super Over Clock HDD - Hitachi 2 TB HDD and 60gb SDD PSU - Coolmax 1000 watts CASE - Raven RV01-B

  11. Think you can tint the windows and add window cages in the back on the Impala? It kooks sweet.
  12. Okay. If you are at it again, you should consider the Ford F-150 and convert it into a police interceptor truck. Have you recycled driver's ford crown Victoria parts for your FCV model? I'm taking about the glass headlights, etc.
  13. Hey Yakidafiart. The impala look sweet. Did you convert any other vehicles from Driver SF?
  14. Okay, no problem. It's your project, even though it'd be sweet for bumper LEDs. They look more descreete than mirror LEDS. Do you think you can do this concept as version 2 and post the pics for opinions? I've seen a few German fleets outfitted with exterior bumper LEDs, lol.
  15. Your WIP unmarked P71 look prestige. It seems that you are open to suggestions for it - may I recommend adding corner and brake strobes, as they are a very common brand to be installed on public service fleets. Mirror beams with split dual colors ( red/blue) would give it a nice touch. Or you can mount a singular mini LED moduel on the corner sides of the front bumper - mount them below the amber parking lights. You can angle it to face intersections for a powerful visual presence :) Edit: here is a reference photo depicting the bumper LEDs I aforementioned suggested - http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/iduke/5516112571/in/search_QM_q_IS_whistler+rcmp_AND_mt_IS_all_AND_w_IS_all
  16. Gigabyte GTX 580 SOC edition. It's a beast! Three fans built in.
  17. The photo was established as fake by Reddit and GTAforums. Old news.
  18. I understand. Not everyone has a driver license.
  19. [reading from notebook during high speed chase] "Reckless endangerment of human life, willful disregard of private property, failure to signal for a.." .-- Oh, it's a real knee-slapper, friend. I've got you on 23 violations of the motor vehicle code. It's only a matter of time before you realize that weaving in-and-out of traffic, dodging oncoming cars, and lap dancing around pedestrians is the truth behind the dent on your totaled patrol vehicle. Did it ever occur to you that, by going eight miles an hour slower, you might save some gasoline and ease the burden on the poor taxpayers out there who pay your salaries? Serving the Public at 188mph? I got two words for you, my friend - Learn EVOC. It will change the way you drive, drastically. Drive safer, be smarter and be prepared for the unknown. http://www.usfa.fema...ions/fa-110.pdf Other than that, great video!
  20. @ 15:54 got me cracking up. The cop punches him after an awkward stare-down. lol.
  21. They look spectacular! Give him a product and he turns it into a invaluable asset.
