  1. I cannot wait for LSPDFR .02, unfortunately with the major stuttering and frame-rate drop I wonder if it would be any fun at all playing at this point. I hope Rockstar fixes whatever it is they broke without sending the mod into chaos again. Unless the mod fixed the stuttering but I doubt that... Maybe today is the day?!
  2. In Pennsylvania, police run Red, White & Blue. EMS & Fire runs Red and White. Edit->> Also Blue lights are used for volunteer firefighters and emts. At this time the blue light is only a courtesy light, meaning no one is obligated to move aside or stop for you. Also we cannot break any traffic laws such as speeding or running stop signs or lights. Going back to your comment about the high visibility stripes....sigh. I cannot express how upsetting it is for people to state that emergency vehicles need high visibility stripping when you have 1,684 led lights that rival that of a lighthouse and even possibly the sun. Many of our firetrucks are now required to have the chevron stripping covering the back of the vehicle. Here's my argument to the stripping and you are free to disagree, but if you cannot see a 3 TON firetruck with the 1,684 led lights then the chevron stripping isnt going to do a flippin thing. If you were stationary and no lights...okay maybe, but today most of the leds blind the living crap out of drivers at night and we cannot see the chevrons anyways so what good are they doing? Sorry for the semi-rant :p
  3. I would wait and check steam or other outlets to reduce the price and buy a copy of it. As Jamiestevens pointed out Ragehook may not work with cracked versions of the game and that is required when playing LSPDFR so you may be out of luck or I would sell your other copies and buy a PC which ever suites you best. Good Luck,
  4. G17 Media does not support cracked versions of the game, it doesnt mean LSPDFR wont work on it but they will not assist you if something doesnt work correctly. Dispite any good intentions you may have others who have the cracked version may not have bought the version at all and thats a discredit to the developers who made it.
  5. I believe you are correct, but also knowing Rockstar I wouldn't doubt that they would include additional crap to it. Also even if it did affect the mod I would think it would only take a few hours for this team to work around it, they are very skilled at what they do after all :D.
  6. Not to spoil anyones mood but I would still expect Rockstar to issue a hotfix for their latest patch. Since so many people are experiencing huge frame rate drops support tickets have been issued to Rockstar support. Below is a link to one such ticket. Of course I do expect Sam, LMS and the rest of the team to be able to figure it out in a day or two. https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/206862727
  7. Just a quick question, since the vanilla game is having performance issues isn't likely Rockstar will come out with a hotfix soon? I know when going around in a police cruiser in the city I start to have major frame rate drops and just start lagging around. This is without LSPDFR being installed. Hopefully some kind of fix will be implemented because I cannot stand to be in the city with that much of an issue by myself, let alone with multiple vehicles.
  8. Several problem with this, 1. Should Rockstar consider allowing LSPDFR as an expansion they would surely charged the players in some way for it, I heavily doubt it would be "Free" 2. If Rockstar would even allow a "Free" expansion of LSPDFR they would want control and ownership rights over it, meaning even if Sam and the G17 team were to be brought on-board they would need permission from Rockstar for every little addition and change. 3. Rockstar doesnt care about mods like LSPDFR continuing the life span of GTA they have been around long enough and make enough money off the initial purchase they already have enough money. If they cant exploit mods like LSPDFR into making more money for them there not going to be interested.
  9. That's true and most forget that Rockstar owes the community nothing when it comes to allowing modding, its their game they can and WILL do what they want. I mentioned in another post that its a good thing Rockstar is taking the cheating issue seriously, however their efforts are in vein when someone as skilled as Sam and the rest of G17 can rout it in a matter of hours.
  10. Sam and G17 Team, great work in such short time, it goes to show that Rockstars efforts in stopping modding are in fact worthless to a degree if you could rout them so quickly. Not to mention that the online community speaks to one another so once a workaround has been found its out there for everyone to exploit. I do appreciate Rockstars attempts at locating and dealing with cheaters but these methods have been proven time and again to be pointless and a waste of time. Every multiplayer game has experienced the same issues and no matter how many patches they issue it a few days they are made worthless. Thanks again and take your time, cant wait for 0.2!!!
  11. I can confirm that no issues have presented themselves since the auto OpenIV update. I have been reinstalling all my textures and other mods since 0100 this morning and have had no issues with the OpenIV. Can you post your OpenIV log in the forum so someone can take a look at it?
  12. If Sam is going by BST (British Standard Time) then it should be released within the next two hours, if hes going by US EST who knows thats on the low side :D
  13. I think most have gone into withdraw and are laying on the floor spazing out. The hype train got derailed thanks to Rockstars patch.
  14. It looks like Ragehook will be updated at some point today. According to the Ragehook forums anyways
  15. So do I, I woke up and rushed on hoping it was released but my dreams have been shattered...at least for the moment. :D
  16. LSPDFR 0.2 has not been released yet, should be soon.
  17. They made a quick release with 0.1 and this issue has been addressed with the upcoming 0,2 release. Check out the forum here. http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/51864-lspdfr-02-stun-guns-more/
  18. Will you guys be implementing ANPR or ALPR into the police computer as well or any search conducted only after you stop the vehicle and manually enter the information?
  19. Since I'm working a 18 Hour shift tomorrow I was hoping it would be out today in time for me to download, but sadly I must wait. I'm super excited that you guys were able to do so much in a short period of time its amazing. Thanks to the entire team and keep up the amazing work! Can't wait for release!
  20. Correct, I misspoke when I said about open carry, although like you said some states have open carry like Texas for example. I meant for like hunting rifles that were in the open and visible in a truck bed or hanging in the back of the cab. Not sure why I said open carry maybe I'm slowly going insane. But I agree it would only work if you allowed concealed carry with a licence. It would be great if we could secure that weapon and give it back later at the end of the stop/questioning. Thinking long term it would be nice if we found a weapon to look up its serial number and see if it may be stolen or unregistered.
  21. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Rage developed by one of the G17Media team members? <(Answered by SuperStumpje) Also I thought Rage was developed so LSPDFR could have more flexibility in what they want/need to do? On a unrelated point, @Sam is it possible to have a interaction with civilians and weapons? I mean not everyone who carries a gun is a hostile threat, many civilians can carry hunting rifles and pistols even concealed carry for ones who are walking the street. I'm wondering can we have a more detailed interaction with civilians so even a traffic stop isn't a 30 sec event? (Yes I know you are working hard and there will be more detail and interaction coming :) ) I was just curious if something like the following would be possible to add. I know in LCPDFR if they had a weapon it was automatic jail because of gun control laws but LS has open stores and carry so not everyone who has a gun would be a criminal. Example: Traffic Stop > Officer has ability to ask if there are any weapons on them or in the vehicle > Driver says YES > Officer ask for licence/permit > If licence if valid (If no Jail/Fine)> Officer Secures weapon until end of traffic stop. > Driver says NO > Officer searches person/vehicle > Weapon found > Officer can search using computer if driver has a carry licence/permit > NO > Jail The carry licence can be tied in with the driver licence information when they hand it over, since normally during a traffic stop the driver will tell the cop right away and hand the licence/driver licence over at the same time. Just an idea
  22. Well....and the idiot award goes to....me YAYAY! Thanks it works as intended, I didn't realize it was just like the menu needing to hit e then j. Good looking out!
  23. True, it all comes down to the dispatch (how the crime is reported). Grand Theft Auto or Grand Theft calls are only emergencies if they are in progress or very recent. If someone came home from vacation and found their car missing and dial 911 cops should not be responding Code3 (Balls to the wall). Same with a domestic call, if someone calls in with a fight in progress cops will respond emergency where if one of the individuals has already left (several hours ago) they will respond Code 2 or non-emergency. Fraud cases or credit card theft for example are slower responses and mostly taking down a report. I have seen cops in my area respond non-emergency to a possible burglar alarm or motion alarm. It would be cool to have a response like that checking around the building making sure no windows are broken or no one is lurking around with a van full of goods :D
  24. Lol, I asked for something similar in LCPDFR and I got told to get a pen and paper! Anyways I think this would be a awesome addition to anyone who likes to add more "Realism" to the game, for others it a waste of time and sadly most people want action over other things but hopefully someone can do something like this.
  25. Its hard to see but this is exactly what Lone Starrr and I were saying about the "Script Folder" inside the main GTA V directory. Let us know if this was the issue hope it helps. Thanks Lone Starrr for clarifying this for me.
