  1. Hah no doubt about that, unfortunately its only going to get worse as more people create more mods. As long as anyone involved in a base function like Rockstar (GTA V), G17 Media (LSPDFR) or Ragehook update stuff everything that connects to it usually needs fixed and since all three are still new its only going to continue. You can be like me and sit at the computer with a 64oz cup of soda, a foam finger that says LSPDFR #1 (Which is terrible for typing btw) and wait for the tidle-wave of updates to arrive. :D
  2. I would assume that it would, which might explain the delay in release. Just to remind you if you didn't already know LSPDFR isn't always updated or tested with the latest version of Ragehook, but only with the version supplied so I wouldn't update Ragehook if you don't need too in order to prevent future problems like this.
  3. I had some ideas floating around in my head and I’m not sure these are possible or not but let me know what you guys think about this. Idea #1: Have the computer start assigning tags to both suspects and back-up units, this way we can specify what unit we want to do a specific task. In this example we will say we initiated a traffic stop with three suspects in the vehicle. The vehicle then takes off you pursue and call in two local units, local air support and a state trooper. The vehicle you pursue crashes and all three suspects then bolt in different directions. We will say that Suspect 1 is the driver, suspect 2 is the front passenger and suspect 3 is driver side rear passenger. Let’s assume that when we go into a navigation menu that franklins ability is activated so everything slows down. Anyways we can then issue specific units to chase a specific target. You Chase à Suspect 1 Local 1 & Local 2 à Suspect 2 Local Air 1 & State 1 à Suspect 3 Idea #2: Let’s say idea #1 works, okay now still using the same example above (Traffic Pursuit). You catch the driver and arrest them, Local 1 & Local 2 end up killing Suspect 2 and Local Air 1 and State 1 arrest suspect 3. Instead of having everything disappear why not have the units remain on scene until you arrive to complete the investigation? Since you are the “Lead” officer who initiated the traffic stop and who’s writing the report why not be given the option if the computer cleans up like normal or waits until you arrive on scene to do whatever. We could for example have a message come up like the dispatch does and ask do you want the CPU to complete the arrest or wait. NOTE: Idea #2 really comes into play if you are able to still search dead bodies for ID or other items which would happen in any normal investigation. This is more for role playing but would add a sense of realism to game. Let me know what you guys think about this idea.

  6. I figured, with the DDoS attacks and downloading issues I didnt want to try and download to get the user information, then I saw that link and was like GREAT... -.- .. lol thanks for the speedy reply. Oh and that link is provided on the main download page to LCPDFR.

  9. Try looking at the documentation file, its been awhile since I placed LCPDFR. I believe that its like CTRL R or something like that. I will make a post saying the https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/guide.html is not working. In the meantime I suggest you go over the mod again and see if there is any documentation provided with it and read it if you can. I will get back to you or someone else who currently has LCPDFR might jump in here.
  10. Hey there! Welcome to LCPDFR/LSPDFR Can you tell us exactly what issue you are facing? Were you able to download the mod? If yes are you asking how to get it to run? Anytime you ask for help try to be as descriptive as possible so someone can help you!
  11. First the native trainer is accessed the same as ragehook F4. I really dont use the native trainer so hopefully someone who does can give better direction as in how to use it. Second how are you installing the mods? they should be placed inside the plugin folder and need to be activated from the Ragehook console LoadPlugin "PoliceRadar.dll" for example. If you update your startup.rphs file it will load automatically.
  12. Ragehook comes with a native trainer, and if I remember correctly Ragehook does not work with scripthook or scripthook.net, unless something has changed.
  13. Several Questions: Is anyone else having an issue with suspects freezing and no longer listening to commands? On several occasions my suspect just wiggs out and does nothing 1. Outside Paleto Bay on traffic stop I successfully arrested the suspect and he was still on the ground and froze, I could walk through him, shoot him, run my vehicle through him but he was just stuck there. 2. Outside Paleto Bay on a separate traffic stop was in the process of arresting a suspect when we were run over by some a-hole in a massive pick-up truck. After recovering the suspect remained sucked and unfazed by other events, gunshots me running into him etc. I was however able to shoot and kill him but all other actions had no effect. Also is there a way to break animation? Several times after pulling a suspect over I hear the lion but since my officer was in the middle of an animation I couldn't react fast enough before their throat was ripped out.
  14. I don't believe there is anything you can do at the moment, the fix will need to come from the developers of LSPDFR (probably in the next update) or from the plugin writers themselves. The issue isnt limited to plugins, you can turn your headlights by hitting the H key and bring up the menu key N as well.

  16. Okay so I decided to make this topic for several reasons. First every time a new version of LSPDFR is released a new topic is created and everyone post in not only a review but request as well. That’s fine and dandy but there is no organization and this process is repeated over and over. Second since the release of API we now have several people looking to add additional callouts to the existing ones. Finally it add organization and a convenient way for both developers of LSPDFR and Modder’s from the community to fish for ideas. How will this work? 1. Post any request for callouts below and try to be descriptive in your request. Don’t just put more traffic events, what type of traffic events do you want to see added? 2. I will then add your request to this post so developers don’t need to comb through 2000 pages of request. 3. I will update this post at least twice daily, as callouts are released I will try and add which callouts have been added to which mods. Since I can’t be any more productive to this community I can at least keep this post updated and organized. Thanks to everyone in advance :D

  18. As far as I know no.. there is no roadblocks yet but hopeful it would be added. I was trying to think of a good example to illustrate my point. Sorry if I led you astray. I do believe there is a plugin that does it but I don't have it and not sure how effective it is. As for the engine on... holy crap I did forget it was in the menu I will need to give it a try but it probably should be a default option. Thank you for pointing it out. :D
  19. Thanks, Not sure why you edited the rest of your post but I did agree with you. I tend to lean more towards realism rather then action but I do know that the G17 team likes to keep a balance for the ones you like to have non-stop action going on all the time. If you think of anymore issues or suggestions add them, maybe someone will see them I know they tend to look at the post from time to time.
  20. Thanks for pointing that out, I thought I saw a post in another topic stating the same thing. I would still like to have it on the main screen instead of going into the menus to find it again though. If it never gets changed its not that big of a deal since there is a workaround to it, Its just one of the very minor things that happen.
  21. UPDATED: 07/17/15 @ 0545 EST Below is my latest review and suggestions for LSPDFR 02. I want to point out that this review in NO way is intended to insult, discredit or otherwise upset anyone involved. I know that the G17 team is working hard at this mod and there are many more features planned and work to be done. I fully understand that there are many components left unlocked and features yet to be explored. With that being said here is my review Stability: As far as stability goes there’s not much to say but HELL YEAH! I currently run at least 4-5 plugins and 5-6 texture updates on top of the LSPDFR mod and there are no negative side effects to speak of. After playing on LCPDFR for so long and then coming to this brings a tear to my eye and I can only imagine how the developers feel being able to play without consistent crashing. Gameplay: I found that there is still a lot to be desired in terms of gameplay, but for me at least the game is now playable in its almighty glory. With the release of LSPDFR 02 we see a much deeper sense of gameplay that wasn’t available on its first release such as plate checker, ability to run names etc. Many minor bugs and glitches have been fixed from the first release and we get a very smooth play through. Below is a list of minor annoying problems that might need addressed at some point but doesn’t diminish the game at all. · When accessing the police computer eliminate any additional key assignments so were not turning headlights on and off. Many keys are assigned to plugins so not sure if you can block out the assignments as well (I’m sure you could) · Back-up units don’t always exit or quit after showing up, some officers remain on scene for some unknown reason while other just walk away leaving the police cruiser sitting on the highway. · Back-up officers run across a very active highway getting themselves killed before being any help. · When working with a complicated menu system such as the one developed it’s tough to navigate and operate the menu while in high speed pursuits. (Check suggestion) · When asking for ID the information disappears to quick, must run to police cruiser or write down the info prior to typing it in. (See Suggestions) · Whoever thought it was a good idea to have an attack helicopter for noose…. I hate you in the most loving way. Suggestions: Please take note that I fully understand that many of my suggestions may not be possible at this time, I do feel as I should bring them up but in no way DEMAND for them to taken. I’m also sure the developers have already thought about or are already working on implementing them into the mod. · Have an integrated ALPR into the squad cars, many police vehicles have multiple cameras so they can see both forward, left and right at the same time. I would like to see the computer blimp the cars on the screen (Radar) to alert you along with the flag (reason) for activation. · When asking for ID have the information stay on the screen until you clear it manually or until the information requested is returned to take its place. · When working with the in game menu have the events slow down like Franklins special ability, this will give players time to navigate through the menu options without causing a 523 car pileup on the freeway. Also may be helpful when you request roadblocks as it would allow additional time to set it up. · Ability to search pedestrians/vehicles · Ability to ask passengers for ID · Ability to have pedestrians return to vehicle. · Change the arrest animation to passive/aggressive arrest. Suspects who are not resisting can/should be cuffed normally not by dislocating their arm. (I’m remembering a scene when poppy Mitchel was arrested normally not sure if that helps) · Ability to detain suspects / release them · Taser should have 90% success rate making criminals comply / doesn’t kill · Ability to turn off active callouts or at least have the ability to adjust the ini file to the frequency of callouts. Shouldn’t have a shots fired callout every 30 sec. (In my opinion) · Have suspect vehicles remain instead of being deleted right away, that we can search them later to see maybe why the ran in the first place. · Keep players vehicle running instead of shutting off every time we leave. · Ability to put on and take off armor by accessing the trunk of the vehicle Well I think that’s about it, again in fully understand that some if not most of this may be impossible for the time being but I hope this helps you guys out and hope it captured some of what everyone else may be thinking. In my opinion you guys have done and continue to do a terrific job please keep it up. If anyone else can think of anything add it below or if you agree hit the like button!
  22. I agree with this 100%, I would like to see an APL (Automatic Plate Reader) integrated with LSPDFR police computer and once it picks something up it blimps on your radar and tells you what the flag is. Its great to use on parked cars as well as cruising the streets.
  23. I have noticed that the Plates have a standard which is the following two numbers, three letters, three numbers. Exactly in that order if you remember that layout any O or 0 could be figured out by where the 0 i located. 020MQ158 I ran into this exact plate that made me wonder if which were zeros and which were O's when typing it in I followed the rule above and it worked. 02-OMQ-158 Hope this helps ya out.
  24. Correction on my part: The state vehicle code requires you to have a light that can be 360 degrees around the vehicle, this can mean full light-bars, mini-light-bars or beacons. You cannot have hideaways or white take-down lights on your vehicle at all. In reality we cannot even have dash lights but most police forces don't care as long as they are solid blue. The law is actually quite outdated now that we have mini-leds and lights that can be mounted inside the vehicle. However you are correct when you said every state and township has it own code to it. Also it depends on the Fire Company policies if you run them or not. Example, my old company allowed blue lights but were subject to company policy and training. In order to run a blue-lights you must complete a course called EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operators Course) and were subject to company regulations which just mirrored the state law. If you were caught speeding, running red lights or driving like an idiot your you told to take off the light-bar. Many companies shy away from using them because to many kids think they own the road and drive terribly putting a bad reputation on the Fire Company, if you have a light-bar its like having a giant sign saying your a volunteer in the area, and trust me when I say that people will not stop until they get ahold of the chief. Without a light-bar your just another idiot driver. Downside to having a blue light you cannot travel down south without removing your bar or beacon. Should the cops spot you they will make you take it off or cover it up with a black bag or something similar since police only run blue-lights down south.
  25. I agree with you, it is a stupid rule to exclude bluelights as an emergency vehicle. I know there were two major concerns about having volunteers running emergency lights, first many of the volunteers are young inexperienced drivers teenagers. The likelyhood that they abuse the lights and/or cause a serious accident by blowing through lights was very high. Also there were concerns that with so many people running bluelights (Volunteer firefighters, Emts and Firepolice) that more people would try and impersonate cops and pull people over. Our bluelight law states that we must have a lightbar that can been seen from 360 degrees and possibly one dash light. We cannot have any hide-away lights, grill lights or anything that could possible resemble a undercover cop.
