Hey pals, Just a quick post: My GTA IV CD got scratched and damaged (Steam version too unstable) but I'm getting a new PC soon. Does anyone know a good price for GTA IV in the form of a CD or downloaded from Steam (Who knows, the steam version may work on a new PC :P) Thanks. Nononono.... its not that, it is in the airhorn slot, he said so a few posts earlier, its just as long as he hits Y, if he holds it longer, it would loop. He also must've used 22050Hz for it so he could bypass the 1 second limit of the airhorn slot.

Haha very true! I tried some old tones off GPM and even when I put my volume on 70 I couldn't hear it. Man, finally someone who knows sirens makes a rumbler! Will be using this on my new installation in my brand new PC! :D

Solved: inseri was right, I accidently copied the visualSettings.dat to an incorrect folder, but the reason for the blurry textures was da f***ing GPU. Go to hell intel. In graphics>options on desktop I set it to performance, not quality a few days ago to see the fps change. Actually it performs better with quality, textures load like a charm, and the game has a tiny bit more VRAM to use. Thanks for your time and help, and sorry I didn't realise the textures problem was such a petty cause! Thanks guys ;)

Dang, I have done everything I can, but the textures are showing up... All of them, they are just like they are at low, and they never load to the medium standard, which is in my settings... :(

Hey I fixed it! I just copied the visualSettings.dat into a new folder by accident rather then common/data. But there is still one problem. I always had the popping texture bug in my game but it was so minor I never noticed it. Now the game looks fine, just all the script text and textures are as blurry as he'll, even when the settings are on medium. Also there isn't as much orange as usual on extra sunny. Any help?
