  4. This seems to be the last surviving easily searchable bank of lore friendly and/or non-ELS cars. As someone getting back into LCPD:FR now and then, I found I preferred the stock game feel (no fancy ENB, ELS, tons of scripts etc). I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Searching sites like the gta gaming archive (gtagaming.com), gtainside, , don't work too well and even on LCPDFR.com I've had little luck digging them up. Hence a quick note on how to use this archive for less tech savvy users: For gta4-mods.com links: Search the GTA Gaming Archive at https://gtagaming.com/ For GTAPoliceMods links: Although quite a lot of GTAPoliceMods links were archived (https://web.archive.org/web/*/gtapolicemods.com/*) due to the nature of the forum software the files weren't archived. For LCPDFR.com links / embeds (you'll see a big white box) Go to page 1 of the thread Copy an entire vehicle name from the list, e.g. Coquette | Tom H | Unmark Right click anywhere, and hit "View page source" Press CTRL + F (Find in page) in the source page and paste the vehicle name. Hit Enter / scroll the results a few times until you see an entry with a URL right next to it. Click this URL. A new tab with the intended embed will open. You can now click the "Download this file" button to view the mod.

  6. Has anyone else succesfully compiled this and loaded in on GTA IV 1.0.7.0? I'm having a few issues, and while I might be missing something obvious (hopefully not) I thought it would be worth posting here incase somebody else has attempted already. All details here: https://github.com/LMSDev/lcpdfr_public/issues/1

  13. thats how it is, because ENB binaries are in that file. leave it alone, you should not be changing that at all.
  14. Hey! Not sure if you haven't had the chance to implement a fix (which is understandable) but if you have I just wanted to say it doesn't work on my end, i can't open anything in a new tab

  16. Thanks so much! I can live with only a fix for point two. Appreciate your hard work
  17. Just a quick thread. On this page https://i.imgur.com/VKm0YDo.png described in the title, there are some important limitations which make it difficult and inconvinent to read up on popular downloads You can't scroll up or down the list You can't right / ctrl click to open mods in a new tab You can't turn off auto scroll (more of a preference thing) Would appreciate if you could look into this, would make it much easier to read mods instead of loading the same page again and again in new tabs then clicking on each mod of interest Thanks.

  19. No problem 🙂 just a quick tip that i couldn't figure out for 2 years, if you do an optimisation guide or something, never tick "Disable fullscreen optimisations" on the compatibility settings of the properties of any and all exe files in the GTA IV directory or it will not launch with ENB Also, if you get extreme lag and text goes blurry for a few seconds - delete these files from GTAIV directory - smaa.dll SMAA.fx SMAA.h

  21. did u delete d3d9.dll? also, screenshot? I never encountered this issue... 😕
  22. Amazing work guys! This is truly an amazing testament to LCPDFR. I've been playing it for weeks and weeks now, to turn back time to when I played it so much, and its amazing, but you can't help but feel certain stuff is out of your control and seems less than realistic. I really am a big fan of polish and refinement, and I honestly believe you have knocked it out the park here, many missing features filled in by scripts have gone. Things like the flashlight, and arrest animations being natively built into the mod is something I wholeheartedly agree with. Scripts are often a pain to update and have a tendency to crash or have bugs (understandably) and animation locks, large INI and README files, and a bunch of new keybinds to change to avoid conflict. I really can see already how polished animations will be, absolutely nothing can beat native functions built into the mod. Godspeed!

  24. Ah then this is actually a different problem, if you are on a laptop with NVIDIA Optimus If that is not the case and it "fixed", then actually d3d9.dll was never injected, as the video drivers simply are not looking for this, so the enb libraries cant be injected as d3fx.dll so you effectively have no enb and just the visualsettings effects. You need to just untick "disable fullscreen optimisations" in Properties > Compatibility of GTAIV.exe. You can keep it as d3d9.dll. try it 🙂
  25. Try updating to 1809, then removing the following files from your GTA IV directory: SMAA.dll SMAA.fx SMAA.h Then untick Disable fullscreen optimisations, in the compatibility tab of the properties of ALL exe files in your game directory this fixed the issue for me Irrelevant - read the post again, I am on a desktop and am not using NVIDIA Optimus
  26. outdated, 1.1 is the latest.
  27. 😞 still not fixed, now the problem spread to ETS2

  31. Windows 10 1803 has this issue, try updating to 1809 or downloading the directX redist and installing it. I know win10 already has it installed but this will repair anything it finds broken silently.
