  1. Does anyone know how to turn off the Depth of field or where I can find that in the ini file?
  2. I know what you mean Troy, lets still be thankful for what we do have so far and I am trying to keep that attitude even though it was frustrating. On a side note there is so much that makes this still a great ELS version. I semi fixed it and this might work for you too. What I did was changed the activation type to "JUMP". What this does is as soon as you push "J" full code 3 and all lights come on. You hit J again and they all come off. So what I do now is use a 3 key combo. For example to turn on secondaries I hit L. Then for the WRNL I hit K. Then for full code 3 and everything I hit J. Now to turn code 3 off and leave SNDL and WRNLs on I quickly hit J, L, K. This will look the same and we lost our Alt J option to go backwards, but it will do for now until Caine gives us the option to choose to get rid of PRML "LO". I see what he's trying to do there, but I am not really a fan of it. He's a pretty smart dude so I am sure it would be easy for him to make this an option instead of forced to use PRML "LO". I was so excited when I first got ELS v7 with the Alt J option to go right back to SCDL and WRNL. It was awesome and was perfect for every one of my cars including a lot of add ons. On a side note, I love the fact that we can turn off the wig wag reflections now. Thank you Caine.
  3. I am beginning to suspect that the only people that come into the support section are the people with problems and issues and none of us know how to fix each others issues. Especially with ELS V8 and ENB. I actually know there are thousands of people that know the answer to my questions, but I don't think those people are coming into the support section unless they just want to feel good about themselves and help someone today. I hope I am lucky enough to get one of those guys to drop my way. Please?
  4. No one else is having this issue or no one else is bothered by it? Being a modder of cars and police lights, its frustrating, because for the last year I have been making the light patterns for the original way and now its switched around. Frustrating. Almost to the point of sticking with ELS v7 which is also very awesome.
  5. Hey guys, I finally found a great ENB that works great with 1.0.7.0. I am using Savior ENB v3.5 '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> I love the ENB, but there seems to be no motion blur up close when moving around with your mouse and I am not a fan of the strong DOF. I dont want to turn off the definition option because I like the smoother motion look on the road when at high speeds and unfortunately this is connected to the strong DOF. So how do I turn off just the DOF? Is it in the effects file or the enbconfig.ini and where? I have played around with just about every setting I can find in both the enbconfig and the effects file in connection with a DOF setting and nothing seems to change or have any affect. Also, this is a pretty graphics intensive ENB, so is there some options that would help raise my FPS that you know of? I've turned off "Force Antialaizing" and lowered it in game to x4. That helped, but sure lost a lot of FPS when upgrading to 1.0.7.0 from 1.0.4.0 and then even more when installing this ENB. Please let me know and work with me on this. Thank you.
  6. I have also seen this. I noticed it, but didn't pay too much attention to it and I can see that its a bug, but looking at the positive side of this, its actually more realistic. For me it would seem that maybe half the cars move and half don't. Not sure if he meant to make it like this.

  9. In the older versions when you pressed "J" I really loved how it went SECL, then "J" again it would be SECL and WRNL, then "J" a third time and full PRML with everything. Now it goes SECL, then SECL with "PRML (LO)", then full PRML and everything. What is this all about? Any way to switch that around back to the old way? Anything in the ini file to change this back? All my cars and the majority of vehicles are optimized to use the older way. Please let me know, thanks. I love that you can now do damage and doors open. Also, I really really love that the WRNL option doesn't have the environment wig wag lights on the ground. Gives more freedom to move light options around.

  11. Hey guys, I am still using .95 Beta which I have found runs the most stable for 1.0.4.0. I have too many good mods to make me want to give up and upgrade. Well a new issue just arose and its quite frustrating. It has to do with the random spontaneous chases around the city. As soon as a car chase begins within my area, even if I am not involved, at the top left I get that help info message saying something like "Sometimes random events happen in the city and you can join, bla, bla, bla,." Every time a chase like that starts my game crashes. This just started happening when I installed the latest ANPR and then a new police car. I thought it could have been the car so I replaced the new car with the older working car and still get the crashes as soon as a spontaneous chase occurs. Is there any way to stop those random spontaneous city car chase events? When it was working about 3 weeks ago, they would happen constantly and it wouldn't crash, but they were just so annoying. I hate the fact that the fleeing vehicle keeps coming around me as if he's trying to include me and wants me to chase him. I try to leave the area from being so annoyed and then the fleeing vehicle still finds me and as Im giving a traffic ticket the fleeing car smashes into the wall and a hundred cops are around crashing into me. Makes my traffic stop so unrealistic. So at least I was able to have a stable game with that annoying event, now the game just crashes as soon as this annoying event starts. Now its even more annoying. Is there any way to turn that event off? Any ideas why it could be crashing each time right at the random chase event? All Police cars work great and I can play for hours. When I exit the game normally, each time I get the error "GTA IV FATAL ERROR: SMPA50" (Unrecoverable Fault - Please restart the game 109388240). So whats wrong with my game?
