Man kann ebenso noch hoffen das der "Aufschrei" der Community so groß ist das Take Two doch noch zurück rudert... schau dir mal die negativen Reviews auf Steam an... Nach wie vor hat sich im Moment für mich rein gar nichts geändert. OpenIV kann man weiterhin nutzen. Und ich warte nun einfach ab was sich die nächsten Tage/Wochen in dieser Richtung tut.

Thanks for this great tutorial! :) It helped a lot to getting started. Just have to ask how to handle carvariation.meta and vehicle.meta files. Because for each policecar there is a specific description for the proper installation of these two files.. Can I also copy the carvariation.meta and vehicle.meta files to my "patchday11ng"? (only add the specific line of code to the files) So I will have everything in one place.. policecars, carvariation and vehicle.meta files? I've tried it, but it doesn't seem to work out like I thought... As an example, I imported a policecar3 with an rambar, added the flags for the rambar in the vehicles.meta, but the rambar still falls off. -.-

Hey guys, i think it's a situation we all know very well. You chased down a suspect, and after that, your police car is badly damaged. How do you deal with it?

After a complete new installation, now it's all vanilla. I have installed lcpdfr 1.0c (manually). I had not much time to test yesterday. But at least 30min without crash. :) That makes me feel at least optimistic. I hope it was one of my car mods. Today I will test it with ELS8.0, and some other cars. ( Anyone have suggestions for what car mods work well? bring it on! ) I want to thank you for the great help!

Just to be sure Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks -> Check, using the original GTA4 Steam version Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues -> Check, GTA IV is up to date. Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. -> Check Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" -> Check Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder -> Check Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. -> Check Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. -> Check Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. -> Check Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 -> Check It looks as if it is just as it should be.

Yes I bought it on steam, and also runs on the current patch.

Yesterday I even tried it a little, but I could not see any regularities. Sometimes it crashes when I just drive around with my police car. Next time right after a callout, the other time after or before a arest. I'm really at a loss. I love this mod, i realy want to play it (stable). ;)

Hey guys, I can't unfortunately really narrow down the problem. So i will start with some facts. :) Mods I've installed. - LCPDFR 1.0 - ELS 8.0 _______________ -CryENB V2 ENBSERIES BY Fabriciuz System: Win7 64bit Intel Core i7-3770K 16GB Ram Geforce GTX 670 In order to play, I even changed back from Win8 on Win7, only because I'm hoping that it runs better. :D I have all drivers up to date, and have befolt also your problem solution. Now I'm just at a loss, because I really have no idea what to do yet. If you need more information, let me know. Thanks for your help! PS: Excuse my english, it's not my native language. ;)
