The mod is not broken - just means your vehicles.awc folder is over 15.75mb which is the limit otherwise your audio will be muted in game.

re-name the files to fit firetruk

If you want to use the siren just for fire truck use, re-name the audio file to match fire truck identity and install it the same way you'd install the police siren.

No, the video is an SS2000. with a faster yelp tone.

My demo videos are using the exact same audio clips as I provided in the download file.

The Platinum's yelp and air horn are different than on the standard SS2000. The yelp is slower, and also slightly deeper pitched on the platinum models. The air horn is also deeper and different. Here's a good video showing the difference in between the wail, yelp, and priority. Unfortunately this vid doesn't have an air horn but you can hear the wail, and the lower pitched yelp, and back to a higher pitched priority tone.

They're not... They are very similar but still different. Yelp and air horn tones are changed the most in the newer versus older models. Yelp is lower pitched and a little slower on the newer model. Air horn is also a lot deeper on the newer model. I am around police cars as a volunteer every week, and we use both new and old smart sirens. After hearing them each for a while, it's easy to tell the difference between the two.

That wouldn't work. The volume would be extremely quiet if you were to just re-name to put it in game. You need SirenMastery to run it alongside with ELS.

if you have ELS, it should be B on an xbox controller.

lol. just the name Federal Signal gave to the siren brand. It has a "smart" brain box which be programmed to play one of many siren tones on its keypad, or select buttons for lighting and traffic advisory or gun lock functions versus a normal siren with just a "dumb" knob that turns and plays preset siren tones.
