  1. Same here...rarely do I use backup....I only use Noose or other units if I respond to a shootout where I know there are a lot of people...
  2. Is there a way to get Police3,4, and B to stop spawning in EFLC? I was seeing civilan peds rolling around on police bikes, and I have driverless Police 3 and 4s patrolling the streets...
  3. hmm...without the model, I wouldn't know where to look....look at the emerglights.png file and see if those glass colors change anything.... almost looks like Yak's Radian CVPI...

  5. Depends on which lightbar it is Slim. Look for a texture called emerglights...not the emerglights_emis

  10. Thanks guys...the only scripts that I am running are LCPDFR, the trainer, indicator, and trafficflow in EFLC...None of them are working...
  11. I was going to post this in the support forums, but seeing as it not only applies to LCPDFR, but any scripts....The scripts are not running in EFLC...Any idea why? All I did was copy all the files from GTAIV to EFLC folder as far as scripts, and scripthooks go...
  12. Once you get the hang of it, 3dsMax is a awsome program...I took a look a Zmod, and 3dsMax seems definately easier.

Here is a little trick I learned in GMax....if you invert the 3 view drawings (CTL I in paint I believe) so the the background is black instead of white, and load it into the opacity slot in the material editor we will get a result like this...I haven't tried it in 3dsMax yet, but it 'should' produce the same results.
  16. Yes...But there are somethings that can be done in Editable mesh that cannot be done in editable poly...This holds true especially for Gmax.
  17. Your welcome guys! I will try to start a fresh project and try to be a little more thorough. I want to stress that this is only the 3d modeling part...not the exporting into GTA or whatever. BTW guys...just call me Nate. ;)
  18. Ok, this is for anyone intrested in 3dModeling. I am by no means an expert at it, and I am constantly learning something new. I will used this as a guide on how to model a vehicle. If someone with more experience are know-how wants to fill in/add something, by all means, DO SO! :D Now, I started 3d modeling with a program called FSDS for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and within the past year and a half started working in both GMax and 3dsMax. The biggest thing to remember is that all object use basic geometry (Spheres, Tubes, Boxes) After searching youtube.com I came across a tutorial of modeling a Mustang. It was very straight forward. Let's start with the first and most very important step....the 3 views....Google is your friend when it comes to this....Search for car blueprints or 3 views. Now everyone has their own method of doing this, but the method I use is to split the 3 view up into 3 different files. I then crop the images so that the images are only of the line drawing. What I then did, using the tutorial is start with a tube on the x axis, and deleting everything but the cap. I moved the circle poly to a wheel well, converted the poly to a editable mesh, and extruded the edges, welding the verticies as I went along. It takes time, but after you get used to it, you start to think three dimensionally
  19. Hmm...Well I already own two of my dream cars (a 1997 Mustang GT vert, and a Dodge Ram) but I am seriously considering selling the stang and getting a new camaro or new challenger. I would love to have my first car here...a Chevy Nova....

  21. Driving down thru downtown I saw a police car pulled up on the corner and in front was another car with the trunk open and a ped with a LCPD jacket on (fat cop). So I did a U-ie and pulled up behind the police car. Walked to the car and saw the fat cop checking the trunk, then walked to the drivers window, leaned over and then walked back to his car...the car in front of him then drove off....Did I just see the AI pulling a car over!? How cool was that! LOL! I didn't know they did that as I had never seen it before! (Using RC2, Traffic flow, Traffic Control, and some other assorted mods.)
