  1. Running game version 1365 (latest patch).
  2. I've had some success on the SSR crash issue. Note that while SSR now crashes alot less for me, it is still somewhat broken requiring script updates. The problems seem to be mostly with the Arrest Warrant portion, which is confirmed by an authors comment version 1.2b of the standalone version. To help with the script crashes, what I ended up doing is disabling the .NET Framework 4.7 Advanced Series in Windows. I haven't noticed any ill effects from doing this so far. For the record I'm on Windows 10 x64 (Version 1803 Build 17134.81 released April 2018). To disable .NET Framework 4.7 Advanced Series; 1. Goto Control Panel > Programs and Features 2. Select 'Turn Windows features on or off' in the left panel 3. Uncheck '.NET Framework 4.7 Advanced Services' 4. Hit 'OK'
  3. The new version of Stealth.Common.dll in this mod seems to crash my LSPDFR (not a CTD). I can add and remove that file all I want to force or fix the crash. Anyone have any ideas as to why that may happen? Everything else I have works fine, and LSPDFR works no problem with Traffic Control v1.0.2.
  4. Strange, I always use Albo's mods and have never noticed any real framerate loss from either them or LSPDFR. My system specs: Intel i7 6700K Gigabyte Z270MX-Gaming5 16GB DDR4 1066MHz Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD Asus DUAL-GTX 1060 6GB @ 1080p Asus VC239 Monitors (Triple Display)
  5. Why not just use the Mimic or Custom Pullover functions of Traffic Policer instead? They work far better, Custom Pullover is my fav.
  6. VisualV installs before NVR, according to the NVR instructions. I've used them together without issue. That issue looks like it could also be related to some settings in game being too low.
  7. I originally posted the below on 5Mods and I'll post it here to. I can get RDE to work on b1365, but I have a problem with crashing after 45-90 minutes of play (usually closer to the 45 minutes). It appears the error is a stack overflow in the SSR script (error code 0xc00000fd). I get the same issue in builds 1180, 1290 and 1365 so not sure what's going on there. For anybody that wants to try to get it working, I've listed the steps below. Note that I have only done this on a clean mods folder, as recommended in the RDE installation instructions and haven't tried it with anything else installed in the mods folder (EDIT: I'm now running this with VisualV installed as well). STEPS FOR RDE ON GTA V b1365 -------------------------------------------------------- 1. Create a copy of the original b1365 'update/update.rpf/common/data/extratitleupdate.meta' on your desktop. 2. Install RDE as usual. 3. Open OPENIV. 4. Copy the file from step 1 above to 'MODS/'update/update.rpf/common/data', overwriting the one RDE installed. 5. Go to 'MODS/'update/update.rpf/x64/rde' and copy weaponturrettank.meta to your desktop. 6. DELETE weaponturrettank.meta from 'MODS/'update/update.rpf/x64/rde' in OPENIV. 7. IMPORTANT: PAY ATTENTION TO THE LETTER CASE IN THE NEXT STEP. THIS IS WHAT CAUSES THE CRASH ON LOADING. 8. On your desktop, rename 'weaponturrettank.meta' to 'weaponTurretTank.meta' 9. Copy 'weaponTurretTank.meta' to 'MODS/'update/update.rpf/x64/rde'. 10. That's it, nothing else. Start GTA. It should now load fine. If you already have RDE installed, you can also do as listed above, just skip step 2 . I actually install RDE first myself, I just listed it the way I did above for clarity. I'm still working on tracking down the cause of my crash after about an hour of play, and will update if/when I make any progress on that issue. UPDATE GTA Build 1365 So far today, I've managed a 2 hour session, a 4 hour session, and a 3 hour session (3 hours play, game was actually paused an additional 4 hours while I watched the hockey game 😁). All play sessions have been playing as Franklin with the SSR script enabled. I'm not confident enough quite yet to post what I've changed additionally to get it working this well as I would like to test it more, but I'll update here if things work out and it wasn't just a fluke day.
  8. So I have a question for you guys. Do any of you ever play RDE on the wrong side of the law, and if so do you experience crashes on ANY version of GTAV? I have tested RDE 3.1.1 on builds 1180, 1290, and 1365 and get the same result on every version. I have been testing RDE with God Mode turned ON in my trainer to stress test the mod, and I experience game crashes (CTD) after about 45-60 minutes of gameplay. The errors all seem to be related to the SixStarResponse script, and according to logs and Event Viewer they seem to be mostly stack overflow errors. If this is 'normal', it doesn't really surprise me after running the script so hard for so long. Removing just the SSR script and restoring a standard dispatch.meta file lets me play pretty much forever. Note I haven't yet tested RDE with LSPDFR on any version of GTA. That'll be next. And yes, I do have RDE working on build 1365. Getting it working isn't hard, but I'm just trying to figure out this crashing thing first. The crashing isn't a huge deal if it's only related to the SSR script as my plan is just to use RDE for playing LSPDFR, which means I'll just end up deleting SSR anyway. Right now, I just want to know if I'm getting more or less normal behaviour from RDE or not. Thanks in advance for any replies.
  9. Thank you for that, ineseri. I certainly didn't mean to exclude Jay and Sniper296 from my list of names, but I wasn't exactly aware of the actual full team so that's really nice to know. The only reason I mentioned Sam and LMS specifically is, well, I see Sam's name almost everywhere and I follow LMS' development blog (very interesting reading). I'd also like to center you out for a thank you, ineseri. I've extracted alot of information from your posts assisting other members that has helped me immensely in getting my LCPDFR much more stable. Cheers!
  10. I'm a new member on the LCPDFR forums, but I've followed the mod since its initial release. I never really seriously played it until the latest release (1.0b). Since then, I can't play it enough (and I've also tried many of the previous versions for various reasons). I have spent a LOT of time experimenting to try and get my installation stable, and I think I am finally making progress on that front. I rarely crash now, and when I do it is generally the common 'freval' error. That said, I usually get an hour plus of play time so I'm pretty happy. I just wanted to post here now to say a huge THANK YOU to the LCPDFR team. This is the greatest mod I have ever played. It's rather unfortunate it's just a mod as it really deserves to be its own game, but I'm not complaining. At the same time, I would like to also say another huge THANK YOU to Lt. Caine and LMS for ELS v8 ... it totally revolutionizes LCPDFR! I chose not to use ELS before v8 as I couldn't get past the 'door bug' and no damage, but now with the changes I will never go back to vanilla. So, to Sam, LMS, Lt. Caine, all the staff here at LCPDFR and all those other individuals who make the awesome mods to enhance our LCPDFR experience ... THANK YOU ALL!!! I look forward to a long, enjoyable stay here.
