Anyone see the "Special Operations Division" written on the side? Apparently, their special operations division is dedicated to giving their local ambulance services work.

I had this same problem, and I just figured out a solution. Install SNT, and go to clear area under the options, and do the "Clear Area" option. It'll clear the area around you of peds, vehicles, and objects, and everything will then load.

I use the 911 First Responders version with the LA mod, it's a great way to blow a whole day, not just a few hours. lol.

For those of you who use ELS, what is your favorite pattern to use, or does it depend on the vehicle/lightbar? I generally use X-03 for anything with lightbars, with just C-01 for the traffic adviser bar, unless I'm on a stop, for which I will change it to L-03 or R-03, respective to which side of the road I am on. I love X-03, as it's constant and eye-catching, even from a long distance. For unmarked cars, or slicktops, I'll use B-01 or B-03. For detective cars or something with just a deck light, I'll just use A-04 or A-06.

Ever been to NYC? A million taxies with police cars sprinkled in is pretty realistic. lol.

So, my two main vehicles I use are a Tahoe, newer model, and a Charger, late 2000s. Both vehicles handled very poorly due to the handling specs, and I rolled my Tahoe en route to a call more times than I care to mention. I have since updated them to be faster, and I lowered the center of gravity to help them take turns easier, resulting in a much more stable/realistic car and truck. My question is though, is there any way to get the exact handling specs of the real cars so I can update them to be exactly realistic? I also want to do this with my two CVPIs and my Impala, but I really want to get my charger and tahoe first. Anyone know where I could get info that would help me fill the stats out perfectly?

Pretty much. On the back, where it says ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT on the bottom of the hatch, you can take some creative license with it if you wish. It's gonna be hard to get it exact. Whatever you can do, it's fine with me. I'm interested to see how well you do. It's a rather complicated livery.

Policedude, yes. It's one of only about 5 such programs I know of in the county, where they are both fully sworn peace officers, and fully certified paramedics/EMTs capable of providing all the services an ambulance could provide except for transport. I listen to the scanner here quite a bit, and I hear them going to just as many heart attacks as they do police calls. It's really interesting, as they have to wear dual hats. There was a case back in the 80s where a Sheriff Paramedic shot someone who tried to shoot at him, and then proceeded to stabilize him until an ambulance could get on scene for transport. OH! One more thing. When I go into the computer, it doesn't say my name, it just shows a string of what looks like an error or something.

I've got an AST (Alaska(Alderney) State Police) charger with some odd yellow lights. There are only two and they are directly on the lightbar. I use them mainly for non-emergency calls when I get on scene, when doing patrol where I'm not at an emergency scene, but I'm moving slowly enough that there needs to be some sort of warning, and after I finish a traffic stop, but I'm still on the side of the road. I also leave them on when I get out to leave tickets, or when I park on the side of the road for a domestic. However, for most of the traditional yellow traffic advisor bars, I use them on traffic stops, when I'm on the side of the road for any reason, and when I'm trying to control a shooting scene.

It's hard to say Jay. I've got a mac, but I'm running Windows on bootcamp. I've got 4 gigs of RAM, and a 3.06 Ghtz Processor, but I don't know how much of that is allocated to the windows side, and how much is drawn by bootcamp itself.

Tom, I have both driven, and walked, around a shots fired scene for over 10 minutes, found nothing, and it still didn't clear. And it's with multiple locations also. One in Port Tudor didn't clear, one in Hove Beach area didn't clear, one somewhere on Algonquin didn't clear. I spend plenty of time checking all around. My initial thought is that, because sometimes it takes me about a minute to get on scene (because I don't run code three, as most PD agencies don't, for a shots fired call), that the shooters slipped away. Does that happen? Like, them leaving the scene faster than I could get on scene? Thanks for the tips on the other two though. I had no idea I had to have everyone out to search.

I would like to point out before someone asks, yes, I have tried doing just vanilla LCPDFR with no other mods, and I'm still having these problems.

So, I installed .95 RC2 R2 last week, and I immediately noticed three problems that I didn't have in R1. 1. While playing, I'll get shots fired calls that, when I go to and they're prank calls, it doesn't clear the call. It shows in the command window when I press ` that it was a prank, but the yellow icon still shows up and I don't get new call-outs. I have to re-start the game, or go off-duty and back on-duty, to fix it. 2. When I do a traffic stop and I get the option to search the trunk, no matter how many times I hit E, my character just looks around and never actually searches the trunk. I got it to work once, but it was the first time I tried it. Ever since then, I couldn't replicate the results. I've tried everything, even uninstalling all other third party mods, standing in different areas, etc. Nothing works. 3. When I go to a call, and I need backup, I'll hit ALT+B once, and only once, and all of a sudden, the entire department shows up at once. If I'm lucky, I can get away from them in time before it crashes. If I'm unlucky, my game goes unresponsive, then crashes. I know my comp isn't the best, but I can run GTA fine, and LCPDFR runs fine 95% of the time. Just when this happens, it's like I hit the backup button 50 times, and there's nothing I can do to stop it from crashing, and I get confused every time. I don't know if these are known bugs, or if they are just me, but it's confusing, and in the case of the last one, frustrating, to have these happen. Any ideas?

I have my copy from Impulse and it works fine with LCPDFR, as well as any other script I want to install.

I don't know if this is the place to request this sort of thing, so I'm just gonna go for it. I would love it if someone could make a skin for a Tahoe, new style, that showcases one of my local departments. It's the Genesee County, MI, Sheriff's department, more specifically, it's their Paramedic units, where they are fully sworn peace officers, and fully certified paramedics, all in one. This has always interested me, and I'd love it if I could run their livery in-game. I'm not expecting anyone to do this, just putting it out there if anyone wants to.
