  1. My only concern is the graphics. You're gonna need an actual dedicated video card like a GTX 760 to get a more-than-comfortable FPS out of GTA4.
  2. 1. Faster loading times and, with to no moving parts, zero vibration. I'd go for a 240GB or 256GB SSD for my Windows partition and most commonly used programs, then pair that with a 2TB HDD for music/movie/game files, etc. 2. My build cost me around $700-$800 to put together, minus monitor. I don't have any gameplay vids, sadly, but I can tell you it's a pretty fast machine. I just need to swap the current R9-270X for a GTX 970 and it'd be golden for the next 2 to 3 years. 3. [redacted] 4. Only open-source versions like OpenOffice, which worked pretty well for me back when I couldn't get my hands on a copy of Office. 5. WIndows 7. Ironclad compatibility with games and none of the wonkery associated with Metro.
  3. As long as the person who bought the rig is happy with what they got, then it's not my place to start an argument just to tell them they're wrong. He seems pleased as punch, so it is what it is.
  4. I'd leave the SSD as it is and swap out that Corsair water cooler with a Cooler Master Hyper212 EVO, which cools just as well unless you're into some ludicrous overclocking, plus it's about $30 cheaper. I have one with my Ivy Bridge i5-3570k @ 4.2 GHz. While you're at it, add an extra 4 GB of RAM to the build. As for buying WIndows....that's up to you, if you catch my drift.
  5. If I'm not mistaken, I think the "C-00" pattern ID is reserved for either "rota" or "strb". Unless you change the secondaries in the config file, you won't be able to switch over to C in-game.
