Are you running the game as an Administrator? you also need C++ Redistributable 2012 Net Framework 4.5 (Make you download the (X86) Version of C++) Also, make sure you only have one ASI loader (dsound.dll or xlive.dll) Quote me for a faster reply. I just get back on and play as normal. sometimes i freeze people back. I don't have the best mods to do it though.

I guess there are ways to put in a command on CMD and it will apply it to folders and be able to be changed. I don't know though. It was working fine. This is just annoying.

Its pretty cool, I liked watching it from the cops dashcam the most.

If you are going to play GTA IV on a laptop get a cooler pad for it. It wont help a ton but GTA is a very taxing game on computers and laptops have inadequate cooling for games. You should be able to run GTA IV on lower settings. Windows 8 does give you certain issues but there are work arounds. If you need help with that, let me know i might be able to help. Also like Ineseri said LCPDFR will work fine with those specs but it may add more stress to your system. Good Luck.

I have the same issue. I'm not sure how to fix it but my LCPDFR works fine though. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the scanner audio.

I plan on staying, I have both games but i just like GTA IV. I cant seem to run GTA V that well right now so I'm just going to stick with GTA IV.

Using Simple Native Trainer, Go to Car Options > Attached Car Menu > Attach Car. It will be on the first page of the car options menu on the second row.

Just to add to what MichealV said, back up your handling file before you change it. also make sure you copy the whole handling line. If you dont you may have some issues driving, at least i did. ( maybe its just me lol)

If you are looking for an ELS pack, Try Looking at CJ24's Car Packs. They include a CVPI, Dodge Charger and Tahoe. I made a Livery For one of his car packs. Not a good one though. lol.

Do you have the latest patch and error fixes installed?

Please list every (if any) mod you use. Just for some needed info, The more mods you have the more likely your game will crash.

A PS3 couldn't handle mods like that and is pretty much impossible.

I use Game4Video ENB It seems to be a decent ENB. I don't know how it will effect your FPS I don't ever get anything close to 40 With my card I get 20-30 With it.

So I have change my light reflections so the they are all blue for all cars. Is there a way to set a specific vehicle to have red and blue light reflections? To be more specific I want to change my Noose and FBI cars to red and blue. Thanks, OSHPTROOPERSHORTY

No Police agency can replace good parenting, But on the other hand some kids are just disruptive and think they own the world and can do what they want. If a cop can make a difference in a kids life, I'm all for it. It certainly did for me.

The scanner audio from LCPDFR 1.1 doesn't play when a callout pops up or when i call backup. Some one said to Alt+Tab out of game and go back in again, But that's hit or miss. Also For some reason my taser doesn't work either. I thought that the taset files were included in the latest version of LCPDFR. Maybe it was taken out? Here is what Ive tried to no avail. Un-ticking the read only box on the GTA Folder and other folder in the GTA directory. ( It wont untick, I don't know why. I untick it click apply and go back to it and its ticked again.)Re-installing both GTA IV and LCPDFR 1.1Made sure everything is installed properly ( It is)looked all over lcpdfr.com for answers to this.Tried the "ALT+TAB" optionThanks to anyone that can help. Also i have noticed that in my log it said it couldn't find the audio files for the scanner. Ill post the log below in a spoiler. I highlighted what i found in red.
