Yeah, the specs are not bad, I'm playing EFLC with car mods and ENB without problems. @gtagamercop: I'll check first the drivers, and then, if it keeps failing I'll look for virus. Anyway, when I started having this problem, some time ago, I did made a computer cleaning with a program, that theoricaly also removed viruses. @Darkangel: well, I don't like losing all my files or spending days making backups haha, I don't think I'll be doing that

Hey guys, I'm having this problem with the normal GTA IV since a while ago, when I install GTA IV, and it's about finishing the instalation, I get a Bluescreen. I've never had that problem before, I've reinstalled GTA IV thousand of times without any problem. The problem started before I reinstalled GTA IV, sometimes I got bluescreen when launching it, and I got the error increasingly commonly until I couldn't play it never. That's when I decided to reinstall it, and now it's impossible. I won't, I bought GTA IV basically cause I saw LCPDFR videos on youtube, cuz the map was based in NYC, city I wanted to visit back then (now I want to go back haha:P), and modding, and I got SA for some other reason which included modding... I won't neither get a console; they are expensive, their games are twice expensive than PCs and much, you can do less things in a console, and in the long run is more worthwhile spending that all money in a good PC, than in outdating consoles and their expensive games.

For modeling (making a new vehicle model) them from scratch, you need programs such zmodeler and lot of patience. There are tutorials for modeling cars out there, just google them or search in youtube. You can also convert them from other games, like San Andreas, Forza, etc. For making just texture mods, you need an image editing program such gimp (it's free), photoshop, etc. and the template of the vehicle you want to retexture, here's a good tutorial for starting with it:

Nah, I don't like nor Taurus nor new Caprice.. it's not about the brand, cuz I love the Ford Crown Victoria and I think the Chevy Impala looks nice.
