That's because the Plymouth Horizon or Dodge Omni was in fact British. In Europe it was known as the Talbot Horizon, widely used at least in Spain in law enforcement but I am sure that I already posted pictures of them various pages back. More stuff from Philadelphia, the 1985 MOVE shootout and bombing.
On May 13th 1985, the Philadelphia Police attempted to arrest the members of a radical black liberation group called MOVE, which led to a 12 hour armed stand off that ended up when a Pennsylvannia State Police helicopter dropped a couple bombs over the house where the group was entrenched, causing the death of 11 people between members of the MOVE and childs, as well as the burning of 60 adjacent buildings. MOVE had previously had another armed clash with the Philadelphia Police Department in 1978, where a police officer was killed.
All the footage below presumably correspond to the 1985 incident but there might be some stuff from the 1978 one.
