  1. I was just walking towards a drunken person (running LCPDFR 1.0c). [ERROR - 7:03:21 PM] [] Error while processing script: AmbientScenarioManager: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at gu.b(im A_0) at ea.r(Vector3 A_0) at ew.a(String A_0, Vector3 A_1) at ew.a() at ew.Process() at LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Scripting.Plugins.ScriptManager.Process() [ERROR - 7:03:21 PM] [script.AmbientScenarioManager] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at gu.b(im A_0) at ea.r(Vector3 A_0) at ew.a(String A_0, Vector3 A_1) at ew.a() at ew.Process() at LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Scripting.Plugins.ScriptManager.Process() [ERROR - 7:03:21 PM] [ExceptionHandler] gu.b(im A_0) L_00c0 ea.r(Vector3 A_0) L_025d ew.a(String A_0, Vector3 A_1) L_00a7 ew.a() L_002e ew.Process() L_029d LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Scripting.Plugins.ScriptManager.Process() L_00db Error hash: AF009C90AEADED89ED5D17CDB75D4CFE66F40335
  2. I caused it myself? Are you kidding me? Anyway could you please add a dismiss function? That would help a lot.
  3. I have two things to report. 1. I called for a vehicle removal but the cop car got spawned in the water. There is no timeout, no automatic respawning and no possibility to dismiss in such a case. 2. Your mod crashes LCPDFR when the removal team arrives and a cop gets out of the car to take over the one I called for. I tried twice and it happened both times. Here is the log: [ERROR - 11:16:08 PM] [Main] CRITICAL ERROR DURING MAINLOOP! REPORT THIS ISSUE AT LCPDFR.COM BY INCLUDING THIS LOGFILE. [ERROR - 11:16:08 PM] [] System.InvalidOperationException: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowInvalidOperationException(ExceptionResource resource) at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.Enumerator.MoveNext() at LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Timers.DelayedCaller.a() at LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Main.c() [ERROR - 11:16:08 PM] [ExceptionHandler] System.ThrowHelper.ThrowInvalidOperationException(ExceptionResource resource) L_0010 System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2+Enumerator.MoveNext() L_0000 LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Timers.DelayedCaller.a() L_0298 LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Main.c() L_009e Error hash: 79D9B968E4AE2D7C9300F32B3574414311789ACA You cannot modify an enumeration within a foreach loop if the same collection is used for enumerating the loop.
  4. I know I know and I develop mods for GTA IV myself. I depend on a .net scripthook and I'm not even sure there will ever be one but please don't destroy my dream prematurely. ;) Oh and btw: I think Rockstar knows very well about how mods like LCPDFR vastly increased the popularity of GTA IV. It would be no smart move of them to NOT make it moddable (is that even a word?).
  5. 0.4? When have you released that? I visited the download page of your mod just about 30 minutes ago and there was no 0.4 but thanks for letting me know. Going to download now. :) EDIT: There's still no V0.4. http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/download/5017-callouts/
  6. Hi Luke, this message about disabling a third party addon appears on all mods using the old LCPDFR API so far. I had to uninstall them all. Looks like the new 1.0c API has some breaking changes.
  7. I have just installed LCPDFR 1.0c and your mod has been shut down by LCPDFR. I guess it's not compatible to the new API anymore. Just wanna letcha know. ;-)
  8. Do you know Bitbucket? It's not only a free git or mercurial repo hoster but it also provides an issue tracker. I run all my projects on BitBucket.https://bitbucket.org/
  9. So you call the Vehicle.PlaceOnNextStreetProperly() method? I'm asking because I use this method in my UndertakerService mod and the undertaker always spawns on a street.
  10. Hi Luke, there's a problem with the car removal. Can you please let the cop car spawn on a street? I tried that part several times but the car spawns anywhere, mostly in some backyard where they don't find a way out or it even spawns in the water. Unfortunately there is no way to dismiss the involved cops as a workaround.
  11. Holy guacamole how did you do that? I mean, is this real (not the content) or done with some 3D rendering software?
  12. Sorry I didn't want to sound rude or anything. English is not my native language. I apologize. Why is everyone so harsh around here? I'm just trying to help to make this mod better! Anyway what do you mean with "reasonably close"? I did another test and moved just about 3 meters away to prevent getting overrun by the arriving police car but even then your mod didn't recognize the abandoned car anymore. As I said, when I made the call I was so close I even touched the car. Why is the arriving cop car aiming at me instead towards the abandoned car?
  13. I just found something else which needs to be addressed, sorry. So I called a cop to take an abandoned car. I stood right behind it and even touched it. While he was still on his way I got into my car and moved some 10 meters away. The cop car arrived and bumped into my car. Then I was told there is no car to take and the cop drove away but the abandoned car was still there and in vicinity. That indicates you use the player character as target on the arrival as well (not just with the call) and the abandoned car was outside the registration radius at this point in time. Could you make the abandoned vehicle as target point once it got registered with the call?
  14. What a coincidence. I was about to report the same issue. [] GTA.NonExistingObjectException: Invalid call to an object that doesn't exist anymore! at GTA.value.Tasks.EnterVehicle(Vehicle Vehicle, VehicleSeat Seat) at CalloutsPlus.CalloutsPlusMain.<removal_Tick>b__20(Object[] param0) at LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Timers.DelayedCaller.fr0() at LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Main.fr2()
  15. Yeah right and now imagine that in Los Santos.
  16. So here it is. The crash happened as soon as the paramedic left the ambulance vehicle. [ERROR - 7:54:41 PM] [Main] CRITICAL ERROR DURING MAINLOOP! REPORT THIS ISSUE AT LCPDFR.COM BY INCLUDING THIS LOGFILE. [ERROR - 7:54:41 PM] [] System.InvalidOperationException: Sequence contains no elements at System.Linq.Enumerable.First[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source) at CalloutsPlus.CalloutsPlusMain.<paramedic_Tick>b__11(Object[] param0) at LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Timers.DelayedCaller.fr0() at LCPD_First_Response.Engine.Main.fr2() Should be a piece of cake to fix it. ;)
  17. Just my 2ct: I bought GTA V for PS3 because I can't wait for the PC release but to my own surprise it got boring already. There is not much to do once all missions are completed and I have even managed to visit each and every corner of this huge map at least once. I'm under the impression it took longer to do that in Liberty City. So currently I think GTA V (on PC) will only guarantee long time fun when we finally get those mods which we love in GTA IV and most of all that would be LSPDFR of course.
  18. The only things I could offer at the moment is the binary crash dump and the LCPDFR.log which is way over 4MB currently. That's not helpful so I emptied the LCPDFR.log now, install your mod again and test play later this day. I'll be back with the log then. cya
  19. Hi there, I got a bug report for you. I tried your mod yesterday and I pressed Shift+R without having any injured person around. I did it by mistake but anyway soon after the message that told me an ambulance is on it's way the whole game crashed. I write mods myself and so I guess that happened due to a NullReferenceException or a ped array with 0 size which causes an IndexOutOfRangeException. The weird thing is that usually just the mod crashes but not the whole game. However I never used the LCPDFR API. Maybe it's because of that but I don't know. Also the game crashes generally very often without any notification with this mod installed. My general recommendation is: Check for existence each and every time you make any call to a ped or a vehicle. The game engine handles those very rigorously in order to keep memory consumption at a minimum and to optimize rendering time. As I said I never used the LCPDFR API and so I don't know anything about it. However with the .net Scripthook you can lock any ped from being disposed by simply setting the IsRequiredForMission property to true. I would do it on injured peds when the player calls an ambulance but don't forget to set it to false again after the rescue.
  20. Replace the first A with an O and the second A with a Y and you get...?LOL why don't we just go with the statements of the NASA about this light? It's right under the picture on that page. ROFL! I can't count how many times I heard that.
  21. So that means as long as the area is marked the thief is around, right?
  22. No one of the people they pulled over looked like they needed the money. You know what I mean?
  23. Great mod so far but I have a question about the fuel thief: Is he still around as long as the pink area is shown? If not then I suggest you remove the pink area. I searched every street and backyard in that area but I couldn't find him. Maybe I just didn't look right or he was away already. How can I know as long as there isn't any indication?
