  1. I'll have to try to reproduce that, it could be an oversight. Thanks for reporting.
  2. I haven't used Stop The Ped yet. Does it let you force a pursuit? If so, it may have something like Pursuit on the Fly integrated. Thanks, if you find any problems feel free to tell me.
  3. Herocop is extremely outdated, I don't recommend using it at all (until there's an update, if there will be any).
  4. As mentioned in the description, you have to aim a weapon at a person and press T.
  5. Hey. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 (x64) Weiterhin könnte dir dieser Post helfen.
  6. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  7. @tenpastnein @yoyokid48 Should work again.
  8. Not sure if it exists and I just missed it (please tell me if I did!), but a way to get the ped that is currently being arrested by the player (or another cop) would be nice. Right now I can only think of 2 ways of achieving this. (Not sure if they actually work as I haven't tried them, this is just theory.) 1) Getting all nearby peds and checking if IsPedBeingCuffed(ByPlayer) returns true to anyone, then working with that ped that this returns true to. 2) Getting all nearby peds and checking if GetPedArrestingOfficer returns the cop/player for anyone, then working with that ped.
  9. Will it give you the ability to call in the pursuit and turn it into an actual pursuit?

  11. Thanks for letting me know, I was wondering if it worked. Yes, 0.4 did change some things. I don't think I'll update the mod anytime soon, though.
  12. I think it would be amazing if you could take control of the suspect, e.g. alter the path he might take. Could have semi-scripted pursuits. For example, you could have the suspect flee into an ambush or into his hood where he leaves the car and flees on foot. Or have him flee with his car but stick to a certain area because he knows it. Or have him stop to pick up an armed buddy and take off again. Could also have single cops go ahead of the suspect and stop a few hundred meters in front and get out, a bit like a roadblock. Lots of potential.
  13. What's great about LSPDFR is that everyone can play it their way. Do you want to play it as realistically as possible? You can do that. Someone wants to play it a bit less realistically or even have it completely arcadey and rambo-ish? Why not give them the ability too? You can add the FIB to the backup.xml.
  14. Sorry for the shameless self-advertising. :P I do agree it's a simple feature that LSPDFR could use. ^^
  15. When LSPDFR is loaded, you can type chaseme into the RPH console and LSPDFR cops will chase you. Alternatively, if you prefer regular wanted levels you should try RDE, it comes with a script that has very in-depth cop AI.
  18. Indeed, sorry. :D Anyway, thanks for your detailed replies, they really do help. Depending on how much the time zones fuck me over, I may or may not drop by when you're streaming.
  19. Nothing specifically, just opinions, experience and suggestions. Actually, what happens if you've lost everything because of deaths? Yes, massive learning curves can be frustrating and this is exactly what I'm afraid of. Also that it doesn't entertain me for long. I don't want this to be one of those expensive "play it for some hours and then never touch it again" games (*cough*, DayZ Standalone, *cough*). I figured, same with Rainbow Six Siege in my opinion. I'm not sure if I like the system of the game. Play a mission, loot, then try to escape and stash (basically main menu). There is no open world that can be played endlessly. Gameplay, especially shooting looks super interesting, though. I thought there was PvE? A friend has been playing the game and he told me there was a mode where you play against bots (supposedly the AI is quite good already?), only the loot you escape with isn't saved. I also heard the devs wanted to expand on their PvE (which was supposed to be a test only) by popular demand. Also I don't agree that saving items from PvE raids is OP. Just make them a bit more difficult (more skilled AI shooting, perhaps not so much good loot spawns in PvE) and save the items. Simple solution in my opinion. Btw, what happens if you do an MP raid, find a nice gun, escape, use the gun in PvE and die? Will you keep your stuff or will this be deleted? If so, that'd be unfair. On the one hand they wouldn't give you items in PvE if you escaped, on the other hand, they'd take them from you if you died?
  20. So I've been having an eye on the game since its reveal but I never followed it too closely. Recently I've been looking for an interesting shooter I'd play and got back to Escape from Tarkov. A lot has happened, there is now a closed beta for everyone who pre-ordered it and it seems very playable in general. I've heard a lot of praise but there was also a lot of drama because of criticism. This and the gameplay (raid, escape, stash, lose everything on death... loot from PvE raids can't be saved [yet]) keeps me from buying it. Watching videos and streams didn't help me decide. Does anyone here play the game? What's your experience? What do you like and what don't you like? Would you recommend it or would you advise not to buy it and why? Also, can you recommend other interesting shooters? I like semi-realistic, authentic stuff. Hardcore and arcade can be nice too, but please no Battlefield or Call of Duty.
  21. LSPDFR selbst funktioniert damit aber nicht.
  22. They can. Try it out. Use a trainer to spawn some invincible or... durable attacking peds, get some police presence and let them fight.
  23. So since @Hastings left a little story here, I'll do the same now. So I parked a getaway car for my upcoming heist in an alleyway in Davis, close to Rancho. I casually left the alleyway when an LSSD Granger pulled up. To break the line of sight, I just hid behind a pole so the cops couldn't ID me. I had a warrant, after all. And this is where it got funny. Across the street, I could see a man punch another, who instantly fell. The sheriffs didn't notice that. The man that didn't get hit then pulled out a gun and finished the guy lying on the ground. The sheriffs that noticed the gunshots then got out. There was more gunfire in the distance, some of it hit the killer. Surrounded by gangsters that had killed the killer and more armed people that were coming from behind, the sheriffs didn't stand a chance. One of them got shot and the other was bitten by a dog that was first locked in on a yard but freed by someone who destroyed the fence. And then there was silence (apart from the dense AI drivers causing major havoc). A couple of seconds later you could start hearing sirens in the distance. The backup the sheriffs had apparently called has arrived, including NOOSE PIA, more sheriffs and multiple PAP trucks that had come from the bridge leading to the port. After a short shootout - some gang members have been shot and some used the confusion to flee - there was silence again. The scene had started to clear out, an ambulance arrived to run over treat the downed sheriffs, and some more units including detectives pulled up. I could now carefully leave my hiding place. However, I had to find a new place to stash my getaway vehicle, the area got as hot as the guns that have been fired.
  24. Hold E while standing still. I think that's also what prompts tell you whenever you fall for whatever reason.
