Well, I mostly play games that were built around Steam, so those always work. The only game I play that wasn't built around Steam is GTA4, so I can't confirm nor deny this. I do have to say, people do report problems about other games not starting (or crashing) when in the beta and it's usually fixed with in a day.

The game performs perfectly well either in Steam or outside of it. I have both a disc version and a Steam version, there is no loss of performance (or any other bug) that I experience in either (other than the normal stuff). Only real problem sometimes, is during some Steam Client Betas, you can not launch GTA4 through Steam. You can either opt out of the Beta, or launch GTA4 from it's directory rather than Steam.

Sorry, bridge closed due to a terrorist threat! On a serious note, have you tried reinstalling the game and attempted to head over to the other boroughs without any mods installed?

I'm pretty sure he was on a virtual machine. He's not the only one who felt like destroying windows on a virtual machine, harder than you think.

Woah, nice! This always leaves a positive light on GTA5's script modding, can't wait to see how close scripts will start to function after the games release on PC.

police3 is the vehicle model name for the Police Buffalo in TBoGT. This model can be added into GTA4 through modding, I've made a mod for that already.
