Blacks are 13% Of The US Population but Make up 80% of the Crime
Well, I can understand why Blacks would be offended if someone who wasn't Black called them a nigger. It's sort of like that, "I can make fun of my sister, but you can't" type of thing. Though I disagree that nigga or nigger is a "Black thing". It has nothing to do with race, it's racist. Pure ignorance is the cause of this hypocrisy, stupidity being the secondary. Most people don't even know that "nigga" comes from the word "nigger", but it should be common sense. Where the hell do you think nigga came from? Whenever I ask a Black person what nigga means, they have no intellectual answer.

They still yell in your face in the military dude. That's never going away, it shouldn't.

Yelling at someone usually doesn't help them improve or learn from their mistake, unless it's somewhere in the military which is expected. I'm not saying that it was right for the kid to shoot the woman, so don't make that assumption. The main problem with our modern day youth, are modern day parents. You aren't born with the desire to do wrong, but things can change. How you were raised can greatly impact how you change, and bad parenting is usually the cause. An example of this would be the African-American community in the United States. Back after segregation ended and racism was dying down, most Black parents said that they'd let their kids do whatever they wanted, since they were now free. The problem with this, is that there were no Black leaders during this time period. The only iconic Black figures, were rappers. Commonly referred to as "Biggie Smalls" and "Tupac", these rappers talked about crime, drugs, sex, and money. I shouldn't need to continue any further. I'm not explaining this over internet sources, I'm explaining this from personal experience and general knowledge among lot's of Blacks. But anyways, yeah this is a terrible story.

Exactly, I agree with you. The only difference in our opinions is that while I believe that we are all equal, I also believe that we all come from different ethnic backgrounds. Technically a White person from Africa, would be considered an Africa-American because he's of African descent, but now resides in America. Skin color ha nothing to do with ancestry specific to certain continents. Our ethnicity is African-American, while our race is Black. We are called Black, because our skin color is considered dark. We are called African-American because we're of African descent.

While I do see your point, I disagree when you say that someone not living in Africa isn't an African-American, they're an American. I'm Black, so my culture and ancestors come from Africa. The problem with this, is that I'm technically not supposed to be here, living in the United States. Mankind screwed up the race system, by moving different cultures throughout the world with the use of force, to work as slaves and servants. I am not an African, but I am of African descent. My ethnicity is African, while my nationality and actual culture is American. My people aren't from America, we're from Africa. So I am an African-American, because I'm currently living as a proud United States citizen, but I'm of African ancestry and descent. This is where the term "African-American" comes from. Black is a worldwide race, while African-American refers to Blacks living in America, that are of African descent. The only problem with this, is that not all people are born and raised with the morals that we see as 'correct'. If I was raised to be racist for 15 years, It'd be pretty hard for me to accept that everyone is created equally. Just as you are raised to accept that everyone is equal, It'd be hard for you to accept that everyone is not equal, if that were the case.

The importance of wearing a helmet in combat.
True, I agree that they did the right thing. My only concern was that they seemed a bit "in the moment" when it happened. Everyone just sort of went silent and nothing happened for a good 5 seconds, then everyone lazily fell back into the compound. I do agree that they followed protocol, but I think that they were a bit confused on what was actually happening for a bit, which is to be expected here.

Good thing he had his helmet on, or that would have ended badly. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like these Marines' are inexperienced with combat. I've never been into combat, but comparing this video to the tens of others I've watched, these guys just seem a bit confused.

They weren't in the wrong here at all. They followed protocol, and did the right thing afterwards.

Iowa Police Pull Over Couple in Labor (Or Labour)
When police in Iowa saw a car barreling down a highway early Tuesday morning, they pursued it with sirens blaring and had to go so far as to throw spikes on the road to halt the car. We always hear cases of the Police doing things that are wrong, never of them doing good. Edit: I didn't say that what the Police did here was wrong, I said that we always hear of the Police doing wrong, and very rarely hear of them doing good. This is because of the media trying to give law enforcement a bad reputation. Read carefully next time please, thanks! https://gma.yahoo.com/iowa-police-pull-over-couple-labor-133817520--abc-news-topstories.html

Blacks are 13% Of The US Population but Make up 80% of the Crime
I live an an area that's exactly opposite to yours. My area is an exceptionally high income area, with the vast majority of families living in large Single Family homes. Stereotypically, the majority of my county is Caucasian. Blacks and Hispanics typically live in an apartment complex or trailer park around here, while the Single Family homes sell for about $1 million each. Town homes sell for about $400,000 each. A home this size in my county, sells for about $2 million.

Me being an African-American myself, I can't say that I'm surprised on these statistics. We do have a lot of issues going on in our community, but 80% is a bit terrible.

Worldwide Biker Gangs Fight Islamic State
The Hague (AFP) - The Dutch public prosecutor said on Tuesday that motorbike gang members who have reportedly joined Kurds battling the Islamic State group in Iraq are not necessarily committing any crime. http://news.yahoo.com/netherlands-says-ok-biker-gangs-fight-islamic-state-155136559.html?bcmt=1413318047726-c652bb9b-da09-41c5-a5ed-43d6fc7e5b1d_00002g000000000000000000000000-aa21aaf5-bbe8-4621-a900-a81dd433e2cd&bcmt_s=u#mediacommentsugc_container Biker gangs fighting ISIS in Iraq. Abortion (what is your opinion)
I think it's funny how on a forum page over the internet, people are willing to stand up and defend their opinions. But yet the second they're asked in reality, they go with what the majority believe in. Very interesting. As others have already stated several times, I believe that it's up to the mother to decide whether or not to get an abortion. Forcing a mother to keep her child, even in cases of rape and incest, is ludicrous. This especially comes into play when the United States is involved. How can we be the "Land of the free" if we still have laws that prohibit people from making their own decisions?
-
What do you think about third-world countries?
You don't need to reside somewhere to know of it's current status. Africa is considered the poorest continent in the world, because people are racist, ignorant, and believe in what they see on TV. I still can't believe that people actually trust those TV commercials about the starving African children. Africa isn't the only place that has starving children. Almost every part of the world other than Europe and North America is considered the "third world". Why do you think "first world" countries are facing mass immigration? South Africa and Egypt aren't the only developed countries in Africa. Every country in Africa has enough resources to survive, maybe not for a long time under the best condition, but they do have the resources. They aren't being born then dying the next day, as TV propaganda would have you believe. There are less than 6 African nations that are in absolute poverty and chaos. In-fact, most African nations have iPhone's available for it's people to purchase.

What do you think about third-world countries?
I'm not saying that you're wrong at all, I agree with every single thing you've said thus far. As long as you can see the small point that I'm trying to make, then I am happy. Like I said, I agree with you 100%.

What do you think about third-world countries?
And this all leads down to what the Europeans did centuries ago. The Child soldiering is used as a tactic against their enemies. They would expect their enemy to show hardship in killing children. Children being raped happens on every continent, not just Africa. The difference between a raping a child in North America and Africa, is that you're more likely to get away with it in Africa, than America. Law enforcement plays such a tiny role in most of Africa, that it encourages people to do whatever the hell they please without any repercussions. I can rob someone, rape their girl, and make their child my personal soldier and face no consequences whatsoever. This is the mindset that people have in parts of Africa. Someone can murder someone else, and face no consequences. The body would just lay there in the middle of the road. All of the killing and fighting going on in Africa in my opinion, is just crime on a massive, unattended scale. These criminal empires started small during the times of European colonization, and grew to be the Warlords we know of today. It would take a massive resistance to end the violence in Africa. Ending the violence, would end 50% of Africa's problems, and make it easier to solve the others. I know someone from Ghana, and they agree that most of the fighting in Africa, is over resources, despite what Western media tells us. She says that some countries have nothing but sand, while other countries have clean drinking water and animals as food. One poor nation, fights another poor nation in order to get it's resources. Chad for example, is smack in the middle of the Sahara Desert. There are absolutely no resources in the Sahara. But then look at neighboring Nigeria, where they have iPhone's. It's an imbalance of natural resources and land, causing the suffering and war.
