  1. The United States never officially declared war with Vietnam. So technically speaking, the United States didn't lose any war against Vietnam. Not sure when people said that the US couldn't be attacked on it's own soil. It was attacked way back when the British burned down the White House...
  2. It would make sense for the military to respond. The White house is taking heavy fire, and law enforcement is having a hard time containing the violence. Why not send in the military? It's the President of the United States for Christ sake. If our President's life is in immediate danger, why not send the strongest force possible to resolve the issue? The job of the military is to serve our country, and the President. The President is the Commander in Chief of the military. It would only make sense for the military to respond.
  3. There would be a massive Police response, almost instantly. The military would be on the way, it would end very quickly.
  4. While I do completely understand your point, and your point does make perfect sense, I disagree. Certainty is everywhere. If I were to punch a brick wall, I'm for certain that it would hurt. If I were to get shot in the eye, I'm for certain that I'd scream.
  5. Yes, but the Titanic was launched early 1911. Comparing a boat to where the President of the United States lives is completely off the charts in my opinion.
  6. The White House is supposedly the most protected building on Earth. While it is possible, it's highly unlikely. The military would be there in 10 minutes if the Police couldn't contain the situation quick enough. It would have to be a massive assault for it to be entirely successful. Olympus has Fallen had a immense amount of flaws in it.
  7. I'll be joining in about two years as well. Good luck out there, brother. Thanks for your service! But until you pass basic training, the question still remains.. =) EDIT: Didn't know the image would be so huge LOL. Not sure how to change that, sorry.
  8. Yea, when you've got this who needs... never mind. When I found this easter egg, I fell out of my chair, and laughed for about 10 minutes straight.
  9. Yes I agree, you're completely right.
  10. Because it's hard to debate with someone that's blatantly sarcastic.
  11. This is why I dislike debating with you. I can debate with almost everyone else and have no problem.
  12. To this day I just walk right past security during lunch, and wander the building. May even stop by to see some of my buddies in their classes.
  13. Thanks for adding the LCPD livery! Downloaded, 5/5.
  14. I do understand your point, and I will admit that I was wrong on several fronts. However, you've just proved my main point. I know of several students that would rather rot in federal prison, than go to school and get an education. At a high school level, students should know right from wrong. I don't agree that someone at a high school level of education, should be forced to attend school. That person is old enough, and should be smart enough to understand the consequences of not attending school. It doesn't take a genius to know that the chances of you making a living without an education, are slim to none. If someone really doesn't want to attend school, they won't. Regardless of what the law says, the consequences, or who enforces the law. They just won't. They'd probably just go to school and shoot the place up, or try to sell drugs, or distract people who actually want to get a good education from, doing so. Since they're being forced to go anyways, why does it matter? If I don't want to learn something, I'm not going to pay attention. I'm just gonna to do anything I can to have a good time. This is my view on students being forced to attend school. When I say that teachers work for students, I didn't mean that literally. It's a two-way deal. Teachers need students, and students need teachers.
  15. Yes, but I doubt that teachers chose their job just for the money, especially in America. Every teacher I've talked to, chose to be a teacher because they love to work with students. They love sharing their knowledge, and assisting others in mastering that same knowledge. Then when the students take a test and pass, it makes the teacher feel great. The fact that they taught something to someone, and that person understood and mastered it. If no students, not a single person, showed up to school, what money would the teachers be making? I wouldn't want to pay someone for sitting in an empty room doing nothing. Not only would they be getting paid for nothing, but they'd probably be disappointed that nobody's come to hear and accept their knowledge. Without students teachers would be virtually, jobless.
  16. But then you tell me what money teachers would make if no students showed up to school. You can't force someone to go to school. If they don't want to go, they won't go. You'd have to chain them to a desk, which then they wouldn't learn anything being taught.
  17. Yes, students do have rights. Teachers work for students. If there were no students, then teachers would be out of the job. You could say the same for students, but most high school students don't have bills they need to pay.
  18. I understand your point, as I'm witnessing it right now when I sit at school. Not sure when I'd ever need to use Trigonometry, or know that the word "Should" is a verb.
  19. col·lege noun, often attributive ˈkä-lij : a school in the U.S. that you go to after high school : a school that offers courses leading to a degree (such as a bachelor's degree or an associate's degree) : a part of an American university that offers courses in a specified subject
  20. The only permanent solution to end terrorism, would result in an act of genocide. The vast majority of modern terrorists are Islamic Extremists.
  21. So thus far, an American and British citizen has been beheaded. While I do believe that the UN seriously needs to do something about this, I don't think that the American people are so eager to get into yet, another war. I'm sure that the American people wouldn't mind Air strikes against ISIS, but direct military intervention with ground troops wouldn't really be so popular. Funny how whenever the US sticks it's nose into something that doesn't involved it, we're hated. Then when an international tragedy or event happens, everyone wants the US to step in and do something.
  22. Moderators have already won in another forum game. I refuse to let them win this game. My hill.
  23. The United States is 23rd in Science, and 27th in Math. That might be where you heard that from, but don't take my word for it.
