  1. Seems legit. Gonna check it out, thanks!
  2. Are there any out there?
  3. Same, what weapon sound is that?
  4. Because I run GTA on a toaster, I'm stuck with the ugly vanilla effects. :(
  5. Which version of LCPDFR do you use?
  6. Yes, you would need to remove the fat cops, and replace it with the thin cops or state troopers name. Yes, you would have two of the same name. One is the original, and the other replacing the fat cop. You can't just delete the fat cops in the file It must be replaced.
  7. Thanks for responding! When I followed your instructions, I ended up with a mixed texture of the default LCPD uniform, and the modded uniform. I don't think something was right....
  8. Same with me. I'm having problems with crashing, and still haven't gotten any reply. It's irritating that GTA 4 always decides to break and crash. All I want to do is play lcpdfr for heavens sake.
  9. Same with me. Hopefully someone with an immense amount of knowledge for this type of thing can help us out. I'll try settings the events to 0 and see if that helps. I never got this issue with 0.95. But with new content, bugs and problems are a given. I don't blame lcpdfr, I blame Rockstar for their horrible port over to PC.
  10. My lcpdfr always crashes about 20 minutes into gameplay. I notice that my game usually crashes when calling in a pursuit, or anytime during a traffic stop. Below I've listed some "Key" information about my GTA 4 files. I've also uploaded my LCPDFR file thingy. I use all vanilla vehicles The only ped modification I have installed is the "Higher Res Cop Texture" mod, by Exo 401 (?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>)'>?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>) I do have a modded siren installed, but I forgot to backup my original. I want it gone, but can't find the original file I use trainer, and have custom time and weather settings saved to it I have only completed the first mission and walked outside in the GTA 4 story I use a commandline, -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict -noprecache I have the "Less Overtaking" mod installed (http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/less-overtaking-f15306) I have the "Taxi Pickup" mod installed, letting you request a Taxi for an AI I have both vdH Police Helper, and vdH Tow Service mods installed I did manually install lcpdfr 1.0 I have Callouts+ and Wouters Callouts installed, both are the latest versions I have done everything that is usually listed initially by support
  11. Not trying to "Thread Steal" as some would say, but if a pulled over suspect is preparing to shoot at you, they have a visible weapon in their hand?
  12. Eh, I half agree and half disagree. OT: Interesting. Never noticed anything like this.
  13. Well, the point isn't necessarily when the incident happened. The purpose of this thread is to judge how the officers responded. If they should have used more force, less force. If there were too many officers responding, too little. If they shouldn't have shot at him, or if it was necessary. The age doesn't matter, how the cops responded does. That's the point of bringing this up. OT: I agree with what all stated above :P
  14. Congratulations on making the Community Team by the way. I don't think I was actively on the forum when you were promoted. :) OT: I do agree that shooting the suspect was necessary but dangerous, obviously. The shot could have missed and hit an "innocent" civilian. Overall, I think that they did do what they had to do.
  15. Do you think that the Police had too many officers responding to the scene? Did they make it more than what it really was? Maybe there should have been more officers responding. Could they have used their tasers? How do you feel about this situation. http://youtu.be/B3_p4s57nnc
  16. I found this Fairfax County Police Department vest, and I'm unsure of how to put this pedestrian mod into the game. Anyone know? '' target='_blank'>>
  17. Love it! The only thing that looks a bit crazy are the gloves. Everything else is perfect! 4/5!
  18. Gives me invisible textures :(
  19. Idiots have to be idiots, no matter what they're doing. Texting and driving is a prime example.
  20. I don't know much of anything about the United Kingdom, but this is a pretty dumb situation altogether. Why remove options for others, just to accommodate for the very minority of a particular people? It's irritating, as this same thing is happening in the United States. Accommodations for the immigrants (We can go on all day about who the REAL immigrants in the United States are, but you get what I mean) and the normal American citizens are expected to meet those accommodations. A quick example of this is language, Spanish. American citizens are expected to learn to speak Spanish due to mass immigration from below us, but they aren't expected to learn English.
  21. Yes, seriously. If things get bad over in South Africa, the United States welcomes all legal immigration and refugees'. We'd be happy to help you out, so long as your working and actually trying to make a living.
