I restartet my game, tried to play on the lowest settings and nothing, really nothing happens. What can I do?

Only new police cars and taxis. I don't know if any mod replaces anything in the house because I can't look behind the door :D I have made a backup by GTA IV after installation. Can I take my saves to this backup, play the mission and then take the state back to my normal GTA?

I tried it without scripts and ELS. So these can't be a problem. Do you think mods like viva new york or something like that could be a problem? But in the house there is nothing (!) what is refering to the such a mod...

legal copy bought on MMOGA (downloaded via steam). I run the game always as admin and I'm using the latest patch. P.S.: I tried it one time without ANY mod (deleted all datas in the script folder and ELS). Didn't worked.

Hey, if I play the mission where you have to chase the drug dealer I have a problem. The dealer is going to the appartment and I have to damage the door to get in the flat. Always when I want to shoot on the door, I get a windows error and the game is closing. Does anywhere know how I can solve this problem?

Hey, my PC doesn't like so many mods, but I wanted to try the first prson mod. I have installed it and it works. It's pretty nice, but the cockpit of my NYPD car doesn't look very nice... Does the look of the cockpit depend on the car model or is this an extra model I can change? I don't want to install a new car, because I really like the NYPD cars I have installed.

Pedestrians shouldn't be afraid, just because I'm using my taser... Everybody is running away and there are only many many empty cars blocking the streets.

I deleted some mods I usually don't use and now it's working really fine. Sometimes I've got an crash near Times square, but I can play now mor than an hour :D Thanks for your help.

I can start the game and play a bit, but after around 30 minutes the game is crashing again... Really annoying.

I always run Steam as admin, when I start the game. But also when I run "LaunchGTAIV" as admin the game crashes after I loaded a game.

Hey, I would like to have Liberty City looking like New York. I first want to have Los Angelos, but I think NY makes more sense, because I have already the statue of liberty and times square by default. I have already a vehicle pack with a lot of police cars, ambulance and a fire truck. I also downloaded new taxis and uniforms for the cops. What else can I do to have a my game like NYC? Thanks for your help PS.: Another small question: I want to use ELS as realistic as possible. So when do I use which light (Primary/Secondary/Warning lights)?

When I'm joining a pursuit, the other police cars are always crashing in me and I loose the suspect. You have to fix that, if possible.

Yes, I did exactly that. I have uninstalled the game, searched for "GTA" and deleted every files from GTA IV. Then I started Steam as admin and installed the game. I have the problems also without mods. And it's not really a crash, the game needs a long time to start and MP isn't working.

I tried it two times.

Yes, I start the game in Online mode, but: after the rockstar games intro it takes about 5-10 minutes until the game has started. In this time I have a black screen. And then I press the home button and nothing happens. If I start the game in Offline mode it starts instantly, but then I can't play online of course (I also can't do it in Online mode, but you know what I mean).

I have a new idea, why Multiplayer isn't working. I wanted to link my rockstar account with my GFWL account. But now I get this message: Sorry, we couldn't link your account because you don't have a XBox/GFWL gamertag associated with your Windows Live account. And now I don't now how to solve this problem...
