Hello, for a few days or weeks my GTA IV always crashes. Sometimes its after a second and sometimes after 30 minutes, but it happens almost every time. If I search for file causing the crashes windows says its the GTAIV.exe. But doesn't really helps me. I've just installed LCPDFR 1.0b, vdh PoliceHelper with tow truck script and some cars and weapons. - vdh policehelper (uninstalled it with tow truck script, but game is still crashing => reinstalled it) Other things that could maybe cause the crash: - Liberty City Car Pack - Sheriff Car Pack - New Peds - Trainer - Weapons (ASB Baton and a pistol) I hope you can help me

Hello, just a question to all the SWAT 4 "Officers" here. Is ist possible to create an own mission with the "Quick mission maker" and play it online? If yes, how? I can't select the mission in multiplayer.

Folder is still empty... I don't know where it could be stored. Can I maybe see it anywhere in VS itself?

Hi, today, I wanted to try to make my own callout script. I started reading the API Documentation and made everything as descriped in in the section 2.3 (Compiling the samples). It says, I should hit F6 to compile and then navigate to the Bin Folder of my project. I opened Documents/Visual Studio 2012/Projects and there is nothing. So, what is wrong? Is the path correct? When I hit F6 VS also says: 0 succesful, 0 failed, 1 current, 0 skipped. I hope somebody could help me.

No, as I said above, after the social club windows nothing happens. No error or so, nothing. I tried now different combinations. 1. dsound + xlive: worked (the game crashed after around 2 minutes playing, but could also be another issue) 2. dsound: game won't start after the social club 3. xlive: works fine. 4. nothing: game crashes with an error after social club.

Yes, I just deleted the xlive.dll and took the dsound from LCPDFR 1.0 (manual install)

I just got LCPDFR, ELS and modded police cars. P.S.: I also have the simple native trainer

If I use the dsound.dll the game won't start. I start the game offline in the social club and then nothing happens. The GTAIV.exe is in the task manager under processes, but it disappears after about 20 seconds.

I have the xlive.dll, because dsound.dll makes just problems. The game is crashing or even doesn't want to start after RGSC.

Hello, I while ago I made a new topic, because my multiplayer didn't worked and maybe somebody has a new idea now for me. honestly, I've got a cracked version before, but I wanted to play multiplayer, so I bought it on steam. At this time, GfWL wasn't working. If I press the home button (Pos1 on the german keyboard), nothing happens. Today I wanted to try it again, but I couldn't login at the social club when starting the game. I requested a new password and it's still not working. Also when I want to open the GfWL Marketplace (not in the game) there is just the loading screen for a few seconds and then it disappears. So, I can't even try to test multiplayer, because I can't log in in the social club. Or does multiplayer also work when I start the game offline? When I want to make a LAN server it says: Disconnected from game session. SO LIVE and LAN don't work. I really want to play multiplayer and join a clan or so, because singleplayer is getting a bit boring with the time. It would be really nice, if you could help me. Hello, after a while playing LCPDFR I saw that I get rare callouts. Yesterday It took about 20 minutes until I got my first callout. Now, I'm also playing for approximate 30 minutes and nothing happens. I also do not have these world events, I had before. Sometimes, there are just puruits I can join, but also very rare. In my old thread you can download all the logfiles if necessary: Thank you!

I don't know why, but it's working now quite fine without crashes. I've got another problem but I think I'll make a new thread for it.

Hello, I installed LCPDFR 1.0 today (as everybody ), but I have a big problem. Always when the game is loading or while im entering the police station, the game is crashing. I have a legal copy, the latest patch (1.0.7.0) and I've got all necessary programs from windows. I tried the automatic and manual installer. I downloaded also the default img's for the peds etc. I don't want to install it new if possible, because I have to download it from Steam and with DSL6000 it takes a loooooong time. I tried that and now it's crashing while the game is loading, when you can see the characters of the game.

I can't even find this file in my GTA folder. And windows says that the xlive.dll causes the crashes when entering the station.

Hello, I got the same problem and replaced dsound.dll with xlive.dll and I can start the game. Now I just got the problem that the game is crashing when loading the police station...

Hi, i play the game SWAT 4 for a while now and want to install the addon "The Stetchkov Syndicate", but there's a problem: If I start the installer I get the message, that the installer didn't found a valid copy of the game. The same if I want to install the Patch v1.1. What can I do?

Hallo, ich spiele mit einigen (im Moment etwa 7) Leuten öfter mal SWAT 4. Von den 7 Leuten sind natürlich nie alle da und am Ende sind wir nur 4-5 Leute. Ähnlich wie im Flusi, wollen wir die Taktiken der Realität soweit wie möglich anwenden. Und da wir so wenig sind, frage ich euch mal, ob jemand SWAT 4 hat und gerne ab und zu mal online spielen möchte. In der Regel läuft ein Spiel so ab: Wir spielen meistens Barricaded Suspects und versuchen nach Möglichkeit den Gegner festzunehmen. Wenn wir viele Leute wären könnte man das ganze realistischer machen. Unsere Idee wäre dann folgende: - 5 Leute im SWAT - Der Rest sind Verdächtige, welche sich irgendwo im Haus verbarrikadieren - Ziel des SWAT's ist es ALLE Verdächtigen festzunehmen oder im Notfall anderweitig kampfunfähig zu machen. Außerdem müssen alle Mitglieder des SWAT's in dem Raum sein, der von den Suspects geschützt werden sollte - Aus dem Ziel des Spiels ergibt sich auch, dass wer tot, ist tot ist - Campen (ständig an einer Stelle bleiben) an sich ist erlaubt, da die Verdächtigen ja ihren Raum beschützen sollen und dann nicht wegrennen sollten. Für das SWAT ist campen natürlich weniger sinnvoll - Waffengebrauch seitesn SWAT nur im Notfall Wer Interesse hat kann sich gerne bei mir via PN melden, wegen TS-Adresse etc. Im Moment spielen wir mit Hamachi. Ich habe über Internet noch nicht ausprobiert, sollte aber eigentlich gehen.

Hello, i wrote it also in the german forum, but I didn't get an answer there, so I ask here. I have copied my GTA IV Folder a few times now, because I want to make different "versions". With the first I play the normal sotry if I want to, with the second I play LCPD in american style and with the third one I want to play it in german style, because I'm from Germany. What I already did: - New cars (Police, Firetruck, Ambulance and Trash) - New Uniforms - ALDI Mod (german discounter) - McDonald's mod - german siren Now, what can I also change? I'd like to have streets looking more like in Germany. So, more dark and only a white stripe in the middle of the street. I would be greatful for every idea.

Die Zweite ist zum normalen Spielen der Mission und die dritte sol typisch deutsch werden. Dazu bin ich auf der Suche nach einigen Mods. Was ich bereits geändert habe: - deutsche Polizei, Feuerwehr und DRK - ALDI und McDonald's Mod - deutsche Sirenen - deutsche Uniformen Was ich noch ändern möchte: - ELS mach Probleme: Es gibt ja in Amerika verschiedene Sirenen, wie sie auch bei ELS sind. In Deutschland gibt es aber nur eine Sirene. Allerdings hören die Fahrer oft nur auf eine Sirene, welche nun mal nicht die ist, die normal benutzt wird. Wie ändere ich das? - Die Passanten sollten deutsch sprechen. - deutsche Taxen Falls ihr noch weitere Ideen habt, würde ich mich freuen.

Hey, today I saw a really strange car. It was a Prosche 911 (or something like that, it was really fast). It was black with a wirte stripe. It looked a bit like a Viper. On the roof was a police light (or something like that). What was that for a car? I can't find a picture of the car. Is this maybe an american police car? We have US Facilities in Heidelberg, so maybe it's a car from the army?
