New Guy Modding Police Cars Questions
1.The game uses handling.ide for the vehicle handling and vehicles.ide for other important stuff like ride height, livery control, etc. so basically the wtd and wft files provided in your download has nothing to do with it.You'll have to change it manually,by opening them or else they'll remain stock. For instance: If you want a cvpi in noose slot, get wtd and wft files for cvpi, handling and vehicles line and replace them all.You now have a cvpi (performing like a cvpi) in noose slot, now. 2.Yes,you can do that, too. One crazy idea will be to replace it with Turismo (as its a rare car) and enable els on it.But take my advice and never try such kind of things. So your idea is better. Yes they will perform like a charger, but if a handling and/or vehicles line is provided,DO NOT forget to replace those. 3.I agree with Aparna on this. Its the best recommended slot for a specific vehicle by its creator. But,again if you have the handling and vehicles line, you're free to do anything. 4.Yes,you're right.GTA:IV supports at max 4 liveries for any vehicle.(Exceeds the excitement to a whole new level,no?) 5.That FCV_Template you're talking about is not much of your use, atm. Its for the texture modders, who create custom liveries.Leave it alone. The cars you named are right, though.

LCPD:FR 0.95RC1 (fixed) isn't functioning like it is supposed to
Well,I have had 0.95 RC1 for a long time, but when I uninstalled it and reinstalled the 'fixed' version,I've been experiencing problems. While installing,it asked for username & password, which I obviously entered, but it didn't show it authenticating.Neither did it showed my password in the next window as it used to.I ignored it and started playing the game, but it gives me "unhandled exception error" at almost every step.FYI,I enabled the hardcore mode and callouts are enabled as well. For instance: I respond to callouts, but when I reach the crime scene,I find myself being presented with the unhandled exception error.I respond to another callout and all of a sudden the target vanishes from my radar.Reinstalling the application didn't solve the problem and I've been going through all this ever since I installed the 'fixed' version.I request devs to look into it and/or help me out (yeah, thats a request,of course). To assist you even more in solving the problem I'm attaching my LCPDFR.log and since I've installed it just as fresh as a ripe mango, you wouldn't be banging your heads against the wall ;). NOTE: My LCPDFRErrorLogging suspiciously reports the following:- Thats quite strange, too. Any help or suggestions will be more than appreciated. Thanks in advance (in case I forget ).

What do you want to see more of in LCPDFR?
It would be great if we were escorting/transferring a high-value prisoner and when the escort team reaches at the middle of the bridge, one SWAT fellow turns out to be a impostor and signals the hired guns to attack the caravan. You reach out for Police computer to call for backup other copcars were taken out by the RPGs but the computer gives an error,"Radio signals jammed manually!".I mean, the prisoner's men use high-tech weapons and jammers. Now you're the only one, left alone in this situation, who can neutralize the target by taking out his men before they flee with him in a car/chopper. Gee Just a crazy ideawhich came to my mind.I know it'll be very difficult for devs, but I just poured out what I had in mind.Won't it be fantastic if it comes to life?

Bugs/issues in 0.95 RC1
Most of the time it happens when I go on duty and they prompt me to choose a player.I just can see the gun held by player and not the playa itself.WTF? One more strange thing.I can't change the controls. Here, take a look at this (at my firstresponse.ini file):

Bugs/issues in 0.95 RC1
Hey all! Downloaded 0.95 RC1 yesterday and I've been encountering two problems since then. 1.Player,at times, become invisible and, 2.the most common one is,when you're prompted to choose the patrol vehicle, only two spawn and then it does nothing. The player cant do anything.Game doesn't stop running, but you just cant do anything... Anyone? I'm attaching the LCPDFR.log as I just installed the mod yesterday and have been experiencing these problems till then.
